    • @fabesey2016
      @fabesey2016 5 лет назад +254

      Tyson was a puncher, but he didn't bang like Klitschko, Foreman, Shavers etc.
      What made him so deadly was that he was brilliant at setting up the KOs by getting into good positions with his footwork, getting guys hands (and eyes) out of place with his lightning fast combinations, and having that power in both hands rather than one, which gave him more weapons with which to take people out.

      Ben Hill-Flood GTA/PS3/PS4 Entertainment AJ doesn't sit on his punches. He's a combination puncher (which is rare for a heavyweight) hardly any of his fights are one punch knockouts, more as a result of a tired fighter unable to take anymore punishment. Wilder on the other hand throws everything behind each power punch thus looking like he has more power (his one punch KO suggests he does) Anyone who has boxed knows the difference in this.

    People who compare AJ to Tyson lack common sense. AJ is 6'6 and utilizes reach so he isn't trying to fight in the inside. Tyson is 5'10 and majority of the time has to go within the inside to get into his opponents. If you ever use a boxing bag try hitting from and distance yourself everytime and the impact and force will lessen. For Tyson, when he comes in close he can utilize all his power from his hips, this is also the same as George Foreman as Tyson, and him have around 180-199cm reach while AJ has 210cm reach. That reach is better to utilize at a longer distance.

    • @justinneill5003
      @justinneill5003 7 лет назад +2

      Totally agree with that. Very interesting fight this. Because of his spectacular power, people tend to forget that Joshua also has pretty good defence, he covers up well even when he is on the offensive, which means Klitschko's success with his trademark head-hunting jab may be limited. But Klitschko also defends well and is a master at tying up and leaning on opponents when they come at him. It has the makings of a stalemate, but both have shown themselves vulnerable to big shots, even if in AJ's case it was only momentarily against Whyte. So I see it as 50/50 if someone gets careless or a points win for Klitschko if it goes the distance.

    • @k2jnr450
      @k2jnr450 7 лет назад +3

      Neil Justin I'm fascinated to see if Klitscho will throw any punches as he literally didn't throw any against Fury in what was one of the worst fights I've ever seen. Fury is a poor fighter and I expect AJ to stop both him and Klitscho.

    Although Joshua is a much bigger man i don't believe he has the kind of punching power that a George foreman or even mike tyson had. When foreman worked over a heavybag his trainer would be hanging on to the bag for dear life, staggering from every blow. When Tyson ripped up a heavybag you would see shock waves ripple through the bag from his combos. Don't get me wrong, those are powerful blows from joshua but i don't believe he is cut from the cloth of george foreman or mike tyson

    • @jamiescott4449

      He's a top lad in terms of personality and body building but to put it simply, he needs to work on agility rather than looking like a body builder. He's going to have to be able to move and slip fast for Wilder. Don't get me wrong Wilder is absolute rubbish as a boxer but he's extremely aggressive. Granted this aggression is ineffective 99% of the time but if he lands his punch, our AJ is going to need all of that leg strength he has to keep going. He'd be better off like Fury making Wilder's wildness look foolish.
