As an INFP Male an agreement that I am allowed to be flakey and unobservant has made my 16 year marriage work without guilt. LMK what explicit relationship agreement would give you space to be you in your relationships?
This reminds me so much of the "law of attraction". When I was in sales, there was a motto/quote that I've yet to find the true origin of: "Be careful of your thoughts, thoughts become words. Be careful of your words, words become actions. Be careful of your actions, actions become habits. Be careful of your habits, habits become your character. Be careful of your character, for your character becomes your destiny." My summery of that: "You are who you think you are."
Indeed an aspect of attraction. Our variation is "So you think you are, so you are. So you think you shall be, so shall you be." Thanks for connecting.
Your videos are really helping me as an infp. Trying to find a spritual way to regulate my life and renegotiate my agreements for all aspects of my life. Loves from Turkey. Im just developing my english. Sorry for mistakes if i ve ever made🙏🏻✨✨♥️♥️
Thank you! Your content is very informative! I never thought of a relationship as in terms of agreements, I think this idea is an excellent tool to implement even once the relationship has been established for many years, thank you for sharing this information, I will be incorporating this tool in my life!! It’s an excellent way of hearing each other out and understanding the other person’s preferences and values as well, and it’s great for the other person to understand where exactly you stand of what you do not accept and what terms you are willing to compromise in, and reevaluate when it’s needed. I do realize that there are certain things that I value, or that are priorities in my life that I don’t compromise in, which have to do with my personal values and ethics. What I do recognize is that there are certain people I currently know that I usually give my time and attention to way more than what I receive. Not giving in terms of anything material, what I’m referring to is giving more of energy and my time, and being there for the person, and there’s little reciprocated. This video has re emphasized my thoughts and doubts regarding this unbalanced giving, and I am now going to do something about this imbalance. Thank you for this video, it makes much sense. In my life when I was young, I learned from my parents relationship a negative trait. This hurst me much to say, but My father was a great father, but a terrible husband. Not in the sense of lack of supporting my mother or hurting her physically, but in the sense that he would cheat on her constantly with many several women, an emotional deceit. Due to this behavior of my father, I’m pretty certain that I developed a trait of not trusting anyone m, especially and mainly a romantic connection. I blocked anyone from getting emotionally entangled with me. As soon as I saw myself getting a bit over my head with an individual, I’d shut them out, invented some story that they are deceiving me in some way and then I would totally blocked them and I would move on. After my spiritual awakening, and much years of internal work, I realized this pattern in me, what I had been doing all along, I’d rather be with someone that loved me much more than I loved them as a form of protection and a form of security. Now I’m working hard on opening up to people that have been in my life but I have intentionally kept at a distance. I hope I can overcome this trauma that I have because it truly has affected my personal relationships, because I fear and despise betrayal so much. I love my dad, and he has been a great father but unfortunately maybe for him, he may not have had a good male role model in his life. Both my sons (25 and 20 year old) have been raised to be honest, honorable young men. At least I have that accomplished, and I’m proud that they honor and respect women in their lives. I’m sorry for the long drawn out message, I’m 51 now so it’s been a lifetime of blockage that I’m speaking of. Thank you for explaining this in detail! Your videos are inspirational, and I really have enjoyed them! When will you have more videos coming out? Thank you! And have a great day!
@Beatriz, Thank you for making my day, and part of my week! What you shared honors and reflects the intention behind this channel and my work as a Spiritualist Minister. Thank you for sharing your experiences and your take aways from this video. And I can't agree more that it's never too late to create, revisit, and/or reconstitute the partnership agreements in our relationships. Take good care, Terry

Great video and great tools, it took me a while to learn how to communicate my values and to learn to love myself first. To share everything in me, but prioritising me too. Thanks for sharing

So interesting. I love these topics! I want to go check what I was again, I think ES...oh I forgot
Glad you stopped by... forgetting is sometimes good because your personality profile is simply a good/fun place to start.
Solid Content!! Class is in session :D

I know a few INFP! Interesting training.
