Thank you for showing In Detail how to open the USB cover. It has been IMPOSSIBLE to get started without knowing this little detail. Thanks again from the USA.
You saved me mate. When I was a younger man, I could read any fine print. Not so any longer. I knew the charger was somewhere on the little camera, I just could not find it. Big thanks. Can’t find online dos either. Bummer
Clear and concise video for the newbie - thanks very much. Have you made a vid about purchasing a powerbank for the Osmo Action, to use on a motorcycle, or do you have any recommendations, please? Thanks again. Atb 👍
Life gets busy and I haven’t used my OA in a while. I have two 3 battery charging hubs and 5 OA batteries. I’ve tried changing usb c cords and moving batteries around and I can’t get them to light up like they used to when they charged. That said, if I long press the hub, it shows that none of my batteries are 0%. Is this hibernation mode despite it showing they are not dead? Remember, both based are doing this. What’s the odds? I am now just going to try charging in the OA itself. It shows a red LED so fingers crossed.
Hi, thanks for the video, just a question if I may, can you use the camera when charging as in if doing time lapse and using it for several hours. TIA.
Hi. So I have had my Action for two years. Today when I go to charge it in the usual way it decides to switch on. I've tried different cables and the same thing happens. Do you have any thoughts on why it would start doing this please?
I have done exactly what you said and let it charge overnight and it is still red. Have a second spare battery I bought going to see if it ever turns green. Would be nice to know how long it should take to charge.

@@MarionvillemodelsMultirotors you mean without waterproof case?
@@rahulpawartube yes without. Make sure all hatches are closed properly.

Thank for the video. Regards from Poland
Sr la Barba hello Poland. Glad you enjoyed my video.
So, it doesn't matter what kind of base/charger the cable goes into? I thought they varied in wattage?
Different wattage would just change the charge rate.
Can we record a video or stream while it charges?
I am putting it on charging buy the red led goes off after few seconds and it's not completely changed also. It brand new. Plz tell what to do.
Hi sir , how many hours til it will full charge
Thanks helped alot
Thank you for sharing the tip.
scott choi your welcome.
Can i use my charger on my phone on this one? My brick says 5v 2.1a, but the battery says it has max charging of 4.4v
wertyamatz22 I have used a charging brick and it was fine.
Any tips to the not original batteries of osmo action?? Is it ok to use it??
I haven seen any after market batteries.
How long did it take to charge?
About an hour depending how flat the battery is. Ideally don’t fully discharge it as Lipo batteries don’t like it.
Thanks bro!
So I removed the door, now I don’t get it back on... thanks
My door won’t pop open. Dammit. It’s completely stuck.
It shouldn’t be. You should just need to slide it down to open.
