He’s gorgeous, I can’t wait for mine to get here!! I’m normally just a 1966 Batman kind of girl but I could not resist him in this outfit. So glad I ordered him!! I’m even excited by that glider! Fantastic review per usual and appreciate your time and effort so much! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Excellent Review my friend 👏🏼 👍🏼 I'm so glad he is finally shipping, whoever I have not yet received mine. This figure will be my last @mezco purchase, because my 1989 Batman had a bunch of QC issues. I reached out to mezco & til this day they have giving me the round around. But anyhow, your video 📹 Review & pictures are top notch 👌🏼
😮 WOWWW...I stare in wonder at the glider... that's just on another level. It would be AMAZINGLY AWESOME if you could purchase the glider separately. Steam Punk glider has me up in my feels...😢so...beautiful..
Find it curious how adapting Mignola art to real life means making physiques bulkier (the Hellboy films for example). Anyways, I still love him! He’d probably be the only Batman on that price range I’d own since I love Gotham By Gaslight so much, will pose it alongside Loosecollector’s Monster Hyde when he arrives hehe
I'm glad you got yours D, now just waiting on mine to get in. Was going to get him no matter what due to the fact that this Batman is my favorite Elseworld Batman, second is Red Rain (Vampire), and Captain Leatherwing (Pirate). The thing that fully sold me was definitely the glider since it reminded me of the Infinite Crisis Gaslight Batman. Still debating on getting the Victorian vigilante set since this Batman didn't have a grapple gun, grenades, or anything like that. Just either the knives, grapple hook, or the glider. Anyway, we shall see how this guy holds up in hand.
Another great review. My order has been "processing" for about a month now, hopefully I get it soon. Once I do get it, I'll decide if I'm going to keep it or sell it. It looks too stout, maybe it's just on video? We'll see how it looks once I have it in-hand.
Bro same things here. I/we preordered this in may of 21 I think. It’s been in processing mode for about a month. They keep saying the warehouse is behind. I’m so sick of all these companies bs. Especially hasbro! It seems like the only company that timely and continuously puts out gems is shf, until I got the loosey goosey guts fig from them. Unfortunately I see what happened to sports card collecting in the mid 90’s happening now in toys.
This is a winner if I was willing to pay for Medco figure - the details and articulation. Too bad it is out of my price range. If it is on sale, would love to have this.
I’m getting so sick of waiting for this fig! I pre ordered him the first day he went up back in may of 21 I think. It’s been in the processing mode now for about a month yet still no shipping confirmation. I’ve reached out to them twice already and get the same tired excuse that the warehouse is backed up. And I thought BBTS was slow
Another super video, and love that diorama, just perfect for this figure! And what a figure, love the original graphic novel, and this figure looks 🔥. Thanks for a great video 👏👏
Gaslight batman has always been a weird one for me. I love the design and the Mignola art but translation to figure form had never hit right. I don't know what my problem is or what I'm looking for. This was cool but don't think it's for me.
He looks very disproportionate, I think they should've used a slightly taller body, the accesories and the head sculpts are nice, but as a whole, it's a very flawed figure
I wish mezco would do basic versions of their releases meaning a more basic package without some of the included parts like for example the wings in this figure. There are some releases from mezco that I wanted but ended up not buying because it's expensive due to additional parts I do not care for.
Have you ever thought of doing a video of just poses of your very best characters 🤔 batman spiderman vader superman gi joe mcu. Etc? No talking no review just 10 20 30 minutes of straight up really cool action figure poses of your best characters? BTW did you get the sh figuarts Indiana jones...love to see you review him😊 all the best 👍 👌!
I wish he had a different body this body looks so small that it makes his head look too big for itself. Doctor Doom has a similar issue as well. His head also looks too big. Why do they keep doing this? It's ruining the look of these figures imo.
They don’t have much choice. They have a license to make the figure in the 1/12 (6”) scale. If they make it at 7” scale they’ll get sued because another company has the exclusive license for that.
@@TheFutureLooksGrimm then they can make the head smaller. If they don't have 1/10 scale license it doesn't mean that they don't have a "proportions" license. Proportions need to be adjusted, simple as that.
@@mr.fastturk4568 as Mez has said before, doing soft goods and painted detailed figures at this scale is extremely difficult, they are making what is generally done on a 1/6 figure at 1/12 size. If they make the head smaller, you’re going to lose detail and ability to do proper paint applications in a speedy manner. IMO they should make the entire figure at 7”. But it puts them in another category. So the result is a beautiful figure but one people describe as being stumpy in pajamas. I collect Damtoys Coaldog figures too, it’s a similar story with them but they do weathered painting effects on original characters and still I’d prefer they go 7”. 1/12 is too small to do a detailed painted and clothed character on an assembly line. Those poor people in China have to sew at insane precise miniature sizes with magnifying eye glasses quickly.
How can you say it looks really good? The head is way too big, the body is too short and blocky, the proportions are way too off. Very disappointed. I'm glad I cancelled my pre-order.

Another Batman body builds like fantasy dwarf.
yeah, mang, he looks like a dwarf lol. His head is too big for his body. Was tempted but pass on this one. For now.
Someone should make a Steam Lantern figure. He would go perfectly with this Batman
The bat wings sold me on this figure .
Absolutely great!!! I would love a red rain Batman!!!!
Looks awesome, all odds want is an alternate white eyes Cole sculpt

Hell yes! I love when you bust out that big beautiful clock tower diorama!
😮 WOWWW...I stare in wonder at the glider... that's just on another level. It would be AMAZINGLY AWESOME if you could purchase the glider separately. Steam Punk glider has me up in my feels...😢so...beautiful..
I think that back holster might be for the grapple hook or maybe even the grapple gun from the Victorian vigilante kit
Such a nice figure. Always loved that aesthetic. Mutton cops Bruce ftw!
This is a great one, love him! The detail is fantastic, especially that glider.
Incredible video as always. Thank you
I could see myself using sodcutter as a Grundy for that time
I love your reviews
Damn this does looks good!!!
That ichigo intro though 🫶🏻
This batman and solomon kane both make me wish mezco would do bloodborne
so close to 100k!!! great review as always. Excited to get this figure in hand!
Very beautiful...but the head is very big
The head looks way too huge for the body and I don’t understand why they had to add those boot shields.
Great video & figure & I love your backdrop
Great review! I can’t wait to get my in hand to play with!
That latch at the back of the belt is for the grappling hook my man
Muy buena figura,en algunos instantes parece como si estuviera gordo el batman, muy buen video, saludos👍👍👍👍👍
Love your videos man! Keep up the awesome work
Said it when i sae the pics and saying it again now after watching this great video, kicking myself for not getting this one!!
Victorian Era was in the 19th Century (1800’s)not the 20th Century (1900’s)
Thank you, my OCD was kicking my ass, trying to get me to post this.
I'm loving the leather bits
Great review as always! Can't wait for mine to arrive!

Nailed it. Once again.
Great review as always, hope we get this figure in the UK. Thanks Nitesh
The head without the cloak looks massive, BUT, once you add the cloak, it's badass

Mutton chops sculpt would be a great Vandal Savage
Had to get this after we got the Man Who Laughs
More like “Midget Batman”
Every mezco figure is a weird, disproportionate midget

mezco Assassin's Creed protagonists would go insanely hard

Cant wait to get mine nice review 👍

Did you ever figure out what that back pouch is for
He looks very disproportionate, I think they should've used a slightly taller body, the accesories and the head sculpts are nice, but as a whole, it's a very flawed figure
Yeeeah I see what you mean. He's dumpy. It almost looks like his head was intended for a different figure.
@@christakrenkothat's kind of a trend with Mezco figures. They look great but they have weird proportions.
@@julienthijs1271They don't even look great *because* of the weird proportions. They DO look quality materials though for what there is.
Do you think he’d look better like this but at 7 inch proportions? I’m guessing that would get them into licensing issues.
Theor heads just keep growing.
Great video as always but what happened to the Justice League 3 pack review?
I hope we get the pirate Batman, joker and Robin lol
Pretty sure that "open action hand" is for holding the batarang. It looks like the fingers fit into the holes to grip it.
I wish mezco would do basic versions of their releases meaning a more basic package without some of the included parts like for example the wings in this figure. For the life of me i can’t figure out the flight stand? Am i missing a piece?
How is this just now up for pre order on BBTS..this video is a year old lol
Where did you get the background for the figure?
glad i didnt pass on this figure.
although without the cape, batman looks on the tubby side lol. still cant wait to get him though.
Where do you get the Victorian vigilante set
This looks awesome but it’s weird how he’s shorter than joker and the head size is definitely off.
Man bro. Screw the figure. Tbis has to be the sickest dio/backdrop I’ve seen yet.
Articulation 1:17
Accessories 4:57, 15:56
Size comparison 11:50
Photos 16:10

Awesome review D. Do you think they will make a black variant
They finally released it
❤
Does that pouch hold the daggers by any chance?
Static looks...not great. However the diorama is AWESOME
I really like this figure but he kinda looks like hes short and wide in some shots. Kinda looks like he has the Dark Knight Returns body
I personally think that about all Batman mezco figures I've kinda learned to ignore it but it still looks odd sometimes.
Yeah I haven't got any for that reason, well that and the price of them
Beautifull figure
Isn't the open action hand to grab a batarang as brass knuckles?. I saw some holes on the batarang.
EDIT: just saw that on 15:59 jajaja
Great review!
More like 18th century.
EVERYONE WHO LIKES BATMAN BY GASLIGHT
NNEEEDS to check out Batfeed GOTHAM 1919-1939 actually the entire series is fantastic.

Is it me? Or others also feels that the head is way out of proportion with the body
This is a really nice figure.
When doing those comparisons he looks so stumpy!
Yooo do lion El Johnson Warhammer figure when it drops PLEASEEEE🙏🙏🙏🙏
Beautiful set, can you tell me more about it?
Man, that head is way too over sized for that body lol

Great figure but head seems a little too big for my taste
He's nice, but too cartooney for my taste. He's kinda lacking accessories for the price range too imo
Is it me? Or does Mezco use the same body for all their figures?
no duh
@ninobeano7627 So all the bodies are the same?
@ArdemResic So all the bodies are different?
@@stephenmaximo4017 for the most part yes
