    Some years ago I was in a fabric store called The Cotton Shop in California. It has since shut down. But I went with my Mom and I found a book called Start Quilting with Alex Anderson. I was someone who was sort of a crazy girl growing up. I was active in running and roller skating. Your book taught me to quilt! It also taught me to concentrate and be patient. I later began cooking because I found it similar to quilting instructions. All because I picked up that book and bought it. It also led to me buying my first sewing machine. My skills are no where near so many quilters, but I enjoy creating.

    I sure wish there was closed caption. I have a profound hearing loss and cannot make out what is said because I need to be able to speech read or use closed caption. You have great content, just wish I could participate

      You should be able to use closed caption. Hover along the bottom and hit the box with the 2 c"s in it.

    Could you spell Jamie Ingels so I can look her up? I’m sure I’m mis spelling because I’m not finding a quilter by that name.
    Thanks for sharing. I enjoy hearing your point of view.

    Happy Belated Birthday. I have the B790Pro and I still like the 20D foot for piecing. I move the needle to the right 3 ticks to make it 1/4" from the edge of the foot. I like that it uses the whole width of the feed dogs on the bottom. Have you tried that. I have the 97D but find the uneven pull of the feed dogs makes the fabric pull uneven. I sort of miss the 5mm width. Whoops did I say that outloud!!! Thank you for the nice machine rundown.

    If you have dual feed do you still need a walking foot?

    • @minvt7287
      @minvt7287 8 месяцев назад

      I prefer Pfaff machines, but “dual feed” and “walking foot” make the same thing happen. Dual feed is built in to the machine, walking foot is typically seen as a separate or add-on device.

      With my machine I use the walking foot for quilting - to me duel indicates two layers.
