Hi! Once again, you are so amazing. The RON notaries really appreciate you for the education you have brought to us about the different platforms. I think a lot of us would be so confused on these platforms if it were not for the explanations and breakdowns you help us with. All I can say is thank you so much for taking the time you put in and time away from your family to help provide us with the knowledge you bring us about these platforms. I know I just can't thank you enough for what you have brought me as a RON and the knowledge and information I receive from your youtube channel. Much love to you!
These videos are so helpful. I'm in the process of getting licensed and you do a good job breaking things down to try and make it simple and that's definitely what I need.
You have done it again... thank you for the information. I was particularly waiting to hear about Blue Notary (in which I have already signed up ) and you give such great insight on what we need to know. I'm just starting out in the business and the fear of starting is real! Please keep the info coming and keep up the great work!!!
@@tw3676 No not yet...I just looked at my insurance and saw I did not have E&O coverage, so I just did that. I almost had a POA to do, and was nervous as hell, but it didn't seem "right", so I did not do it.
Enjoyed your video. Just getting started. I wanted to ask - Can you sign up with more than one company at a time or do you have to stay with one company at a time? Thank you.
Thanks for the informative video. Very helpful. I want to ask a separate question: do you have any recommendations on reputable companies that build websites? I want to create a website for my business but there is so much info out there that it all becomes confusing. Thanks!
Thank you! 😊 You want to build your own website and just need a website to create it on? Or you want to hire someone to build it? Wix is a great platform to build your website and pretty easy to build yourself since they have templates. If you wanna hire someone use Fiverr.
Thank you for sharing all this. I am a new notary and it seems like most contract companies are looking for $100,000 of E & O insurance. Do you know how much E & O insurance all of these companies require?
@@YvonneMiller-g2b congrats on becoming a notary! 100k E&O is pretty standard. Typically for the year E&O can be as little as $50. Go to the national notary association website and search E&O and select your state to see the price. Plenty of other places sell it too.
With NotaryCam....they want you to commit 20 hrs a week with no guarantee of work... It is a lot involved and you have to have several screens open to complete the job. They actually recommended I purchase multiple screens. For me it was to much..and not like say Neysus ..just one screen.
Your videos are so informative. Thank you for sharing! I recently became a public notary in August. Would you recommend taking a RON course with the NNA?
Thank you and congrats on becoming a notary! Honestly the hardest part about RON is just knowing how the generally perform notarizations. The NNA notary essentials course is very good. I would recommend that. The platform itself will train you on how to operate it.
Quick question. I'm in Washington state as well but Pavaso doesn't say its available in Washington. Also another weird thing is that the states website has Pavaso as an option on their endorsement list. How did you sign up with them?
When you talk of platform, is that the same as Remote Notary software? I'm in WA and during application I was informed I need to have a software provider. Thank you for your time!
A platform where you can bring your own clients and the website maintains the notarial journal on your behalf, that's what software providers the application is referring. BlueNotary would be one. Secured Signing would be one (this is who I chose). So on and so forth.
Okay I have a question about the Exela RN platform and when you first originally enrolled. Did they request you submit a PDF of the digital certificate? When I tried to do this on a Mac computer he could not view it.Tried it a multitude of times. No other platform does this besides them. other RONS take P12 and PFX files. So I was wondering how did you first enroll when you started with Exela RN? Thank you. - Halley Hover NSA in Oklahoma
I am interested in doing notary work/loan signing, and I have my Public Notary commission with ANA & loan signing certification with NNA . Have you only done online notary work? A notary professional told me I need to learn mobile notary work first and do it for at least a year before considering doing RON. What are your thoughts?
I have a question, I just received my commission from Washington state. I need to send in my platform for remote and electronic notary work. If I pick one company am I still able to sign up for multiple platforms and use them as well or am I stuck with the one platform? I have contacted several title and loan companies and they all use different platforms. How do I approach this situation?
I'm a NP in WA state as well and asked DOL this question. They said you can enroll in as many RON platforms as u like just make sure they're all entered into your license/endorsement page. If you're using the website for DOL, you can add them all manually fairly easy. Hope that helps! If you have any questions, contact SOS for WA state to help you out. Good luck!!
I’m trying to apply for multiple companies it won’t let me do it on the same page??? Do I have to do it individually??? I’m talking about registration for Ron in the state application
Be careful bringing your clients to Notarize! Notary Socials posted a video saying she won't use it to bring her own clients. From what I understand she said that after you sign loan documents they send the docs to the signers, not to you or the closing agent or anyone else. So then the signers have to send them in. She also said if the signers return to Notarize later, they won't be sent to you even though you referred them in the first place. I'd like to do more of my own research. Does anyone else have experience they can share using the platform?
Yes, they also send a welcome letter from Jenny of Notarize to come back to them in the future. So yes, you are building their clients list instead of yours.

It's not false advertising because no one is guaranteeing that you'll get any consistent jobs. They are simply sharing the information about how these sites run and telling notaries to sign up for multiple sites. And that's why they tell us to sign up for several; no one platform will pay you enough to live on.... and you should making your own business any way, tbh. Not just depending on orders from signing companies.
