      Congrats on 2 years. Regarding Con #3- even though there is not travel or printing I have noticed some services are really, really low-balling RON's to $25-35 is ridiculous because no one in a legit business can make that amount per hour (say just in case a signing takes an hour due to advising a person through the tech as well as explaining the what of any document). Honestly I think many notary signing agents should petition and lobby law makers to set mandates on fees in that no title company should be able to charge less than 50% of the standard charge for in-person loan signings. If notaries keep taking 25-35 loan signings, it won't be a livable business model unless you somehow always slam out 3 signings per hour, which is probably not going to happen every day. It's possible but it just seems like companies are taking advantage and not honoring the time and service provided just because it's remote.

    Congratulations on 2 years!!! Listening to your daily schedule, you are a very busy lady who has proven to be a top notch influencer...Boss Lady!!
    For me, the flexibility of when I can be on the platform and the fact that it's remote is definitely in the "pros" column. The biggest "con" is getting clients onto the platform (I had a client email me 6 times with questions and called 3 times b4 she felt semi-comfortable with the process🤨🤭)
    Now, I've regularly watched you review platforms! When and how did I miss the platforms that help you create your website and marketing materials [and] NFTs?!!🤯 (interested in those platforms!🤗)
    I'm currently traveling but I will checkout your course b4 the deadline to take advantage of the promotion.
    Love your calm confidence! Stay in your power it lights your path with beautiful colors!
    Continued Success!

      Hi! I'm about to have a newborn and have an almost 3 year old now. I've been struggling with even conceiving how to work with them at home. You said that you slowed down loan signing... but you still have done some? I'd love to chat with you. Do you have support or childcare? Have you brought your infant to signings? That doesnt even seem possible or professional to me. But ive been starting to ask, how important is it to be "professional" in that traditional sense if my work is good?

    • @FleurRebelle
      @FleurRebelle Год назад +1

      @elise8116 bringing a child to a loan signing is distracting and unprofessional. Im surprised u even asked!! If a Notary brought one to mine I would be livid. Thank you for making this video about the pros and cons of being a remote online notary. I am still interested in being an online notary, rather than a mobile notary. Because I don’t drive because I’m visually impaired, so this would be just right for me. Also, I am intrigued with the idea of working from home and not having have money for transportation and having to make a long commute somewhere. I do understand that anything worth having is worth working for. I would definitely treat this like a regular job. I love the flexibility too, because I never wanted a job where I have to feel like I’m signing my life away just to make someone else money.

      The Con: Being paid less as a RON. Isn’t it true that the signing fee that is a part of the closing cost is 150 regardless of who the notary is (Remote or Mobile). Does the majority of the 150 go to the signing companies that are the middleman between the title company and the Notary?

    • @EvenStevenB1
      @EvenStevenB1 Год назад

      @@lillierevis7611 I made an investment in 2021 in a RON platform. The ROI was horrible. I wasn't getting enough work so I didn't charge for services since jobs were few and far in between. I didn't renew in 2022. I have other streams of income now but if anything changes, I may invest again.

    I really would like to know.. online.. is there always or at least usually available work after you get accepted to a platform? It seemed like you said that there’s usually work but it may pay less. Im ok with doing online around the clock long as its something i can count on after a few of weeks in.
