Excellent video I really appreciate the information. I live in South Florida and I’m a notary as well and a Ron where would I find feild inspection work like which companies
Thank you for sharing this information I was so nervous and anxious starting my journey becoming a notary. Your video really encouraged me and gave what I needed to make the first step 🏆✨💜 Thank you!
I'm a digital court reporter. Lots of digital court reporters also transcribe. Also it's not just remote. Many of us work in the courtroom and I believe more digital reporters do court work than remote. Also, most companies will not hire if you don't have some type of training and also become certififed through the AAERT. I took the course through my local college and certification is done through the AAERT and you have to renew it every three years. The course was rigorous but really well worth it. Just wanted to add that in there. Excellent video.
Do you make much money? My mom has done this for 20 years and my sister and I help her remotely. I don't even think it amounts to more than a few bucks an hour between us after the transcribing, listening back, other proofreading, and printing and assembling to mail off the hard copies (which the court ALWAYS requires). The most you can charge in her area is about $5 a page. I consider it soul-destroying work, mostly because of the pay.
I used to be a traditional court reporter years ago. Is that something that would qualify as training or experience? I never considered being a digital court reporter but it is definitely something I am interested in looking into now. Thanks @sidehustleseattle for the great info! And thank you @sweetnsourrr for the clarification!
I currently do GNW, Field Inspections, and Mobile Notary. After watching the video, I will be researching Wedding Officiant, RON, and Digital Recorder.
Thank you. I am starting my notary business this month in Texas. This helps a lot. I am afraid of RON but it is real and alive so I need to get over it and jump in.😂
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I have been a public notary for over 10 years and only use it for my employer. After listening to you now I know I can make some extra income at least 10 ways to make some extra income you God bless.
I appreciate the video and recommendations. I just started in the Notary field from law enforcement. I am out of Florida and I have watched many of your videos. Thank you.
thank you for the list. The list was great, but there is another thing that Notarys can do and that is be a proctor. The digital court reporting is not just remote anymore. Some do in court sessions as well. Again, thank you
I was a LSA before Covid, and I’m now getting back into it. I’m going to add: IPEN, as well as, hopefully, Field Inspections, Proctoring, Remote Testimony Witness, if anyone has advice on how to do so in California, I’d love to hear about it please!

Great information, thank you, and yes it would be great if you would make a video on directing one how to get started on your 15 ways. "Yes" I am a rookie.
FYI: I'm a certified voice captioner. My training began on a stenograph. A steno had 22 keys so it is totally possible to "write" (type) 220 wpm with training. It's impossible to type 220 wpm on a qwerty no matter how you're trained. LOL 😉
This was a very helpful video. Thank you. I have watched lots of videos on notary and the people are overly excited. They talk so fast but this was very informative.
