Good job Kimmie. I would just add that I always collect the full fee up front, provide a receipt and leave my business card. That way the client has something for their records too.

Hi DJS, depends on each state and in GA it goes to clerk. There are a lot of small details with Apostille. Just start learning and keep adding to your knowledge. You got this. I'm glad you found us also. Kimmi 😊
Fyi, if you do use the usps service to send a document to the state for apostille, they will typically only deliver the package/ documents at the main front door of the capital building or whatever the office of secretary is. They will not go inside and bring your mail to the direct office such as for example in Indianapolis where my state of Indiana is the secretary of Indiana resides at the state capital, the business department is the office that is l pertains to apostilles. The uses will not go further than the front double doors of the whole facility. But FedEx and ups will send your documents directly to the office that you intended to send mail to. So the time of reception by the office of secretary business division will vary greatly based upon how they receive their mail. So it's always better and safer to use ups or FedEx.

Great first part of the apostille, I would like to see when she gets it back and what she or you do with the apostille, like FedEx it Mexico. Once it the apostille get to Mexico does Mexico file the apostille the same as in the US, or doesn't she the lady get something back from Mexico besides a receipt stating she filed an apostille in Mexico.

You stated that sometimes documents mayhap to be authorized by SOS a different state, MY question is since the document has to be authorized by a different state, do you go to that states SOS site and print out their Apostle forms. The concern is will the other states SOSallow you to use a GEORGIA Document? Thank you in advance for clarity on this procedure.

I had some clients that I had to explain that I'm not qualified for apostille. I told them to get a hold of SOS. I charged them $20 for a 1/2 hour of them having printer problems and looking at the documents. I then called a qualified apostille notary and referred them to that service. Hopefully I will be able to do this service soon.

Hi ma’am. I noticed you mentioned about a discount for FedEx envelopes, but they can actually be ordered for free thru the FedEx site….I got 100 legal sized envelopes, 100 small pouches and 100 large paks for free…
Why wouldn’t you be qualified to do Apostille work? To my understanding there’s just the need to educate yourself on the process if you’re already a notary

So, I am in Dallas, Texas Girl I don't wanna drive to Austin even though I love those neck of the woods! lol have you ever had trouble sending it to the State? and them sending it back?
I guess I could charge a lot if I did have to go down there ;))) I watched Andre's YT and this girl charged $900!!!! she used some people to help and ended up profiting $650!

I am a new GA notary, I understand that we do not notarize government issued documents, I heard you say that they may need something notarized, would you include an "Acknowledgement for an Individual" in order to have a place to stamp, how do you know when to include the Notarial Certificate?
