I did a lot of head nodding and thumbs up. lol I thought, what a cool gig. I got online right after the signing and I found your channel. WOW. I want a side hustle I but don’t want to work THAT hard. Remote work is absolutely easier than commuting or working in construction/manual labor. RON seems like it’s a solid side hustle with the perk of working remotely, which eliminates the need to spend your time driving and spending money on gas.
Please know Florida has added a new change to being a Ron. You must now inform the State on which company platform you have selected and where your digital records will be kept. For newbies, locating a digital repository is difficult because no one talks about it is done, or which company performs this task.
ENotaryLog stores your log for 10 yrs no extra charge. You get billed at the end of the month and each session is only $13 even if your client has additional docs to have notarized. IE, your client has 3 docs to be notarized, you charge $45-$50, you’re only paying $13 and the rest is your profit. And there is no signup fee.
I am planning on quitting/retiring early from my job and becoming a Notary in my home state FL. I've also been watching quite a few of these videos. I’m in Michigan. Been a regular notary since 2013. This video has been a game changer for me with figuring out RON. Michigan only allows us to charge $10 but the loan signing agent sounds great too. Each State is different. I am in MD and you have to take a course and pass a test $70 to get the Title Insurance Producer License before you can even do a loan document. Some states do not require a license. So to become a signing agent isn't over at NNA exam.
On 2020 when the pandemic shut my place of employment down twice i needed to find a side hustle. Im back to work but still want a side hustle. Im going to try this. We are neighbors! Im in Oregon!

As a notary i would say please research the state your in. In North Carolina you can only charge 5.00 per signature and there are a lot of financial institutions that will do this for free

Great questions! The 3 platforms I have are LiveNotary, Notarize and OneNotary. Now that I’m in CO LiveNotary is my main one but I use Notarize for Snaodocs RON signings. As far as marketing I have to market myself. Between word of mouth mainly from my channel, snapdocs now doing RON signings through Notarize and my Google My Business page that typically gives me enough signings/notarizations per week to hit my goals.

I have been a notary for 20 plus years and never knew about this. I am wondering however, where do I go or how do I even start to get clients??? Help! LOL

So what company did you end up using to do your Ron? Or do use different ones?
How do you get work? Do you have to market yourself or how do people get you to do Ron?
Great questions! The 3 platforms I have are LiveNotary, Notarize and OneNotary. Now that I’m in CO LiveNotary is my main one but I use Notarize for Snaodocs RON signings.
As far as marketing I have to market myself. Between word of mouth mainly from my channel, snapdocs now doing RON signings through Notarize and my Google My Business page that typically gives me enough signings/notarizations per week to hit my goals.

Or the rates of the states they’re certified in? Idk if that last one even applies, I’m only just finding out about RON through your videos in the last couple of days.
