I'm confused as to how you can affirm that you made sure they didn't cheat if you're not at least in the same room. It seems like that's the purpose. If I'm in my car outside and they're in the house. How do I know they don't have a notepad with all the answers or a friend on the phone giving them the answers? Or any number of things.
