Great Tutorial! I definitely got a better grasp on what these sounds are in context. I think the psy squish is my favorite and I love how I've heard this sound with other like real instruments and the instruments get enveloped hard or something and it just sounds like a brilliantly confusing wet mess.
Dude, Psy Squish FX is the sound I have been looking for. So many good sounds here! Around 11:25 you say you'll make the pitch unipolar- is there a key that you are hitting for that? I only know about changing it in the matrix
I love this so much!! I have been looking to try and recreate a synth fill that illenium has in From The Ashes (with Skylar Grey) at like 3:40, and this will help me thank you! Would also love to see you recreate that sound!
Ahee, do you know that spaceship sound called where the beat stops and it sounds kinda like a missile or rocket landing? It's really high pitched and sounds like _"PSSSSSSSSSsssssshhhhheeeeeeowwww"_ It's not EDM song, but Miley Cypress used it in Party in the USA when the chorus starts.
this was ver hard to follow as someone completely new to sound design, there where times that things where done but not explained so I was left sitting there like why tf does mine sound so different
on number 9, mine doesn't sound like yours. I followed to a T but the bend in yours has a bunch of cool tap sounds in it and mine sounds smooth. What am I doing wrong 🥲
808s at 8:08. Hell yeah
This was the most inspiring music production videos I've ever watched. I can't wait to get home from work and get after it. Thank you AHEE 🙌
Amazing content my friend 🔥
Thank you. I’ve been dying for this video. I know a fair bit about sound design but never learned some of the essential sounds
Deefinitely helpful to see how the basic shapes form the foundation of all the major edm sounds
Saw you at envision. You were the best set. Killed. Much to my surprise seeing you teach

🔥Amazing set Ahee! Have you heard of Sessions? I think you will kill it there!
Ableton 🤕🥴
You’re moving really quick and not really explaining what you’re clicking on
Turn this up turn this down!?! You need to be more clear and specific if you want to teach people
