Hi, thanks for sharing the video. Can I ask You how did you do from the copper plate silver shining piece? Gilding with silver sheet plate or galvanisation ? Regards, Jiri
I love so much watching you enameling ❤ such a great work ! I hope that one day i can create beautiful pendants like yours ! I want to ask you : your silver foil seems to be more thick than standart silver foil. Is it a special foil for enameling ? Where can i find them please ? Again, great work ! I wish you the succeed you deserve !
Thank you very much. I am sure you will do. Yes, this foil is thicker than usual foils. In USA, enamelartsupply, riogrande has enamelling foils, in UK cooksongold has. Also you can search as keum boo (for gold), ginbari (for silver) foil in your country. I wish Happy enamelling days🌸🌸🌸
Hi, thank you. I use knife sharpening stones/whetstone in different grits. My favorite stone is natural one ( the stone on the left in the water, in the video). It is similar with Arkansas stone or you would also search for Japanese sharpening stones.
Hi, I use water based glue diluted with water to stick the silver wires temporary. You can use any kind of water based glue. Then, I wait untill the glue is dried. Finally, I put the piece into the kiln for a minute. When enamel is melting in the kiln, the wires stuck in enamel permanently. I hope this will help you.
Hello, you can search for flat lap machine or lapidary machine. They are suitable for working wet. However, most of them are costly. Economic way is looking jewellery supplier stores for any kind of 3000 rpm motor. Then, you need to take precautions to remove the water from motor like as I did with red stuff.
Lovely! Let's get cloisonne excited together!
