Thanks, I'm 62, enameling was my first class in 1978, and because of this video, I want to come back. What are you sanding the enamel with?
I sanding the enamel with diamond abrasives, and at the end fire polishing. Try it, you will succeed!
Wow that is a gorgeous piece of art!
Thank you so much!
Amazing craftsmanship,
Thank you so much!
Spectacular workmanship in this piece. I love the Art Deco influence in your design. Bravo.
You are right - art deco is present here ). Thank you for your comment!
Thank you for sharing. I was watching a documentary about Faberge and it prompted me to look up jewelry making. I once was a machinist and welder and I wish I had your talent. Superb.
You have an interesting story. I want to wish you patience and good luck.
And thanks for your nice comment!
Wow!
❤️❤️❤️❤️great work
Yhank You!
excellent work.. thankyou the enamelling looks very Art deco with the engraving then the cloisonne, did you flux on the wire first?
have you more videos ? thanks from london
Thank you. All the videos that I have I share on this channel.
There are two ways to fix the wire, the first is when the wire is glued with a special glue.
The second method is fixation with a transparent flux. I use both, it all depends on the design.
Beautiful and talented.
Thanks for your comment!
Benchwork on steroids.. WOW.. I learned so much from this .. Your skill level and your design - clever talent . Thank you! Happy to find you.
Thanks for your comment, it is very stimulating!
Hola excelente y hermoso trabajo!! Una pulcritud única. Felicitaciones
Gracias!
Amazing to see such talent. Not many artist left like you
Thank you so much!
Handcraft ORIGINAL items are worth the price charged, if people were educated about the process, you are correct, it is a dying Art. ❤️
@@kikicoast7921 You are so right. I am a silversmith myself (Nowhere near at this guys skill level) but so often am disheartened by people seeing my stuff and saying it's lovely but too expensive. Then they go and buy some expensive plastic rubbish from an exclusive high street store.
So beautiful😍
Thank you! :)
Congratulations Sir, this is a masterpiece. Thank you for sharing your art work ❤️
Thank you for watching :)

The Master
Bravo, maestro! :)
I don't deserve this :). Thank you!
Wow
Please make a video how to melt black enamel into jewelry, I cannot find ONE video of this!
also, beautiful piece
I had this video saved somewhere, but then it was gone. I looked for it and found it, but the music is different.
Thank you for sharing the video! Your work is magnificent! How did you attach the enamel piece to the soldered piece? And, what tools did you use to remove the extra enamel excess after kiln enamelling?
Thank you for watching!
For fastening the enamel piece I used a classic bezel setting.
For grinding enamels I use diamond abrasives: diamond files and sandpaper. Grinding is done in a wet environment.
Sergejs, beautiful craftsmanship, what a pleasure to watch the process! How do you ventilate your space while enameling and smithing?
Thank you very much!
You will laugh, but I solve the issue of ventilation simply - I open the window in the workshop :)
Lovely piece. May I ask please what you are using to sand down the enamel? And it stays so shiny. I am finding it hard to find information on this topic online. Thank you in advance
Everything is simple here. I grind with diamond abrasives and regular emery paper, but wet with water. And finally, fire polishing. After the kiln, the surface shines perfectly.
Do you know how to enamel not on a flat surface? Such as ring band but outside the edge area.
The process is the same. As long as the enamel is wet, it adheres well to any shape. For reliability, you can add a little "Fire-klay" to the enamel.
Amazing.
What brand enamels you user?
All the best
Thank you! I use Schauer and
japanese enamels.
Very good job. I'd like to try enamel someday. Does your rolling mill is home made?
Not certainly in that way. This rolling mill was made for me to order.
@@sergejsblinovs3369 Real pleasure to see your work. :)
@@MrZimms950 Thank you :)
@@sergejsblinovs3369 Why? Better, cheaper, to use your money at a personal friend?
Magic! What the name of enamel?
Thank you. Schauer enamels.
Very nice ring, but it's just a show. It does not contain any technical information or tips - just to watch and admire.
You are right, there is not much technical information in this video for beginners.
This is "Faberge" re-born.
I am Thailand.
Hi! How r u sir amazing work very hard-working keep it up how can I contact with you I want to share with you something
You can contact me on Instagram - ENAMELI_jewelry. Thank you!
Did you add the enamel without soldering the wires to the base? Is that just to save time?
Yes you are right, I do not solder the wire, but glue it. there is a special fire glue. this is not connected with time saving, but with the enamel technology and the given ring design. Maybe in a different situation I would solder the wire.
@@sergejsblinovs3369 Interesting. So the glue is heat resistant? Or do you have to heat the glue to activate it before adding enamel?
@@DegreesOfThree so, after the wire is glued, I put the enamel on. Then I put the product in a muffle kiln. In a muffle kiln, the glue burns out without a trace.
@@sergejsblinovs3369 Ok, so the glue is just temporary and then the enamel holds the wires in place.
@@DegreesOfThree absolutely correct. The glue is only needed to keep the wire ornament in place when you apply the enamel.

Can you fix the title of this video to "ring"? Rin is wrong in English.
Thank you so much for pointing out this grammatical mistake. Corrected!
Hi. I am really love your video. So amazing. Can you help me? Can i use glass frit powder for making enamel on jewelry silver. Here is link of powder: www.warm-glass.co.uk/deep-cobalt-blue-opal-powder-frit-014708-p-1632.html?cPath=98_160
