- In this video I'm sharing how to make a Spotify glass artwork using your Cricut machine. I made this using shapes and free images from Cricut Design Space. You can scan the code on the frame from Spotify and it will start playing the song. These would make great gifts!

Kayla, I am beyond thankful that I discovered your page no matter how many months later. I'm a NEW Cricut Crafter & your step-by-step instructions were OVER THE TOP awesome! I watched 3 others and you were the ONLY one who went through each piece. All others had pre-made SVG and just told you to enter it. YOU actually went over each piece. THANK YOU. My friend's mother teared up when I showed her my creation. The wedding is in May. This Spotify Glass has her wedding song code.

you should put all of the buttons and the line (all of it except the song title, the code and picture) and make it a svg file and release or sell the file or something! a lot of people wouldn’t have your patience for it lol

Just an FYI for everyone. If you're planning on selling these it's illegal to put the spotify logo and song code on them. Just a heads up.
I sandwiched my designs between two pieces of picture glass.. also lay the whole vinyl piece down to transfer tape for the smaller detail then weed off the transfer tape makes it failproof

Great video! Was wondering if you could do a video on layering vinyls. I struggle with the contouring,selecting a file type, and the photo working on cricut when picking the colors. I have watched many videos and don't know what I am doing wrong.

This was very helpful thank you but mine didn’t cut the Spotify logo right how can I fix it ?????????
Might be able to find a png online of it or even select those inside pieces it's missing, slice them out of a square, then those pieces as the cuts into a circle. Apparently the image directly from that website just doesn't mix well with :/ (Hope that makes sense)
What is the clear contact paper you used?
You are definitely reading my mind. I personally wouldn’t use dollar store glass. I’m getting a slightly thicker glass and I have a glass grinder so I can smooth the edges. Any stained glass store could smooth the edges but you’d prolly have to buy the glass from them.
Could you please give a tutorial on keyboard commands for Apple and Microsoft computers. I haven’t used my computer in sooooo long. It’s real glitchy with Cricut design space so I may have to buy a new one. I’m so glad you found me.

Going to make it for my sister and her husband. I'm going to try make the song be paused at the date of their wedding - April 2. So in Aus it'd be 2 mins and 4 secs in

What you use to spray the glass before putting the final work on their. This was helpful because I been seeing this around IG and I want to make one for my business
EE Collection I just used an all purpose cleaner. You can use that or windex just to clean it off. I’m glad it was helpful! 🥰

Ok so when I DL the Spotify song code the little circle with 3 lines the middle line is blacked sour and doesn’t let me edit in DS!?!?!? I’ve tried redownloading I’ve tried to take a picture of it with my phone HELP please I can’t add a picture on here but not sure what else to do any help is appreciated thanks so much

Hi I was trying to do this on a chrome book and at one point in the video it said to right click and send to back I tried several times and it did not work I do not know if this is user error or what but I really having a hard time if I can help me that would be greatly appreciated

Can you help me!! I am trying to make one of these and I added text to the photo. I printed it out using printable vinyl and added sticker paper over the photo. When I go to cut it instead of cutting it out it cuts out all my text which of course I don't want and it didn't cut out around the photo? I hope you can help me with this.

It's so much easier with a premium acc cause free accounts play some random musics as ads.
I tried this and when i scan the code after the second time it won’t play the song anymore it plays the playlist how can i make it play just that song? I copied the url for my particular song
In new to this and stuck at the pause button step where click on one rectangle and then you say shift to select the 2 triangles together so you can align. I hit the shift button on my computer but it doesn’t do anything. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
Spotify have removed the copy song link.
I think they just did this because now Spotify is actually selling plaques and keychains on the official website.

Love this!!! I've seen a couple people makes these & their videos to make them was just super complicated. Also I found when you get the codes you can change the color of the bar & codes which was pretty neat. Thank you for the video. I know what I will be doing when we are stuck in the hotel. I"ve already got a few projects saved on my design space for when I finally get my stuff back.

Im finding out that you have 30 days free use and then you need to sign up. Its been frustating because I can get none of mine to go to the direct song, it goes to the album

I just tried following your instructions and first i want to ask when you first entered spotify after finding your song you said you hit save song but you went so fast and i didnt see anywhere to save and im wondering why it didn't work. what could I have done wrong for code not to work?

Have you been able to reuse the printable paper after you used it in the printer, meaning that after you make a small sticker have you used the same paper to make another one ?

I just had to try this. Your tutorial video was awesome and easy to understand and follow. I made one for my son and future daughter in law. They both loved it. The picture frame I had wasn't glass but it still worked just as well.
