    BTW i'm going to completely change the input to the batteries from charger with 10AWG wire just to avoid ANY voltage drop! those battery tender cables make me feel dirty :^)

    It looks like the charge wires on my f5 are small, like 16ga. Or maybe 14. My experience with the new charger and these batteries is they suck

    I am hoping for assistance in troubleshooting an F3 that will not power on. It is a 2018 new to me, I don’t know much about its history. It has been in storage for several years, both batteries were dead, and I have replaced both batteries. Everything seems to be connected correctly because I can connect a charger at the joystick and it will charge the batteries however, I cannot get the joystick to power on. Battery voltage is good, main breaker is on. Not sure what to check next.

      what year is the chair?

      2018 I believe. I have another F3 also 2018, working, so I have parts to swap for troubleshooting.
      I also have a spare power module and an omni/mini joystick. The non-working chair has a CJSM2 and also an attendant console.

      does it have a joystick with a power button, or the toggle? if the charger is working via the joystick, then its probably wired up correctly.. if its an older joystick with the rubber power button, those contacts can get gummy sometimes and require pushing at odd angles and varying pressures.. also check out this video (the part with the headphones) ruclips.net/video/XNiZn7vGiRk/видео.html

      @@TotallyNormal- I have the joystick with the toggles. I will try the magnet and/or monoport. Thanks for that video. My gut is telling me it's something more than a broken switch. Am I correct in assuming that the joystick should be able to come to life if it has power (which it does) even if there is a bad module somewhere or an R-NET data problem?
      I have an omni and a mini joystick that I can take off of another chair and try on this one.

      i wouldn't swap on any alternative controls till ya figure out why this current system wont power up. that can complicate things a LOT!

    Hi! I have a Permobil C400 and was wondering if anyone know how it measures its speed and distance traveled?

    • @TotallyNormal-
      @TotallyNormal-  2 месяца назад

      there are biking/hiking apps that can keep track of distance traveled - however app-based speedometers aren't very accurate below 10 mph.. depending on how old the chair is, swapping the joystick out to one with a screen would give ya all that info

      @@TotallyNormal- Hi! Yes I have a C400 with the new larger colour display with a trip meter. But I was wondering how it measures it. Is it the rotation of the wheels?

      the system knows what the top speed of the chair is, so it extrapolates the speed based on the amperage/voltage being output to the motors
