Couldn't see on the setup or takedown, did you have those aluminum spreader rods at the head and foot of the Amok. Looked like your bug net was sagging pretty good on you. If you didn't pick up the aluminum rods, branches/twigs work well too. Keeps the two end up and away so it doesn't collapse. Also, a bigger tarp would work just fine for the rain, but I think you may have covered that in the end.
