      what do you mean by type b fun?

    • @MBlackford100
      @MBlackford100 Год назад +4

      @takyc7883 calling it type B fun means that it may seem a little unpleasant at the time, who likes to slog through mud and be wet, but after it is over you tend to forget the unpleasantness and focus on the more fun aspects of it.

    • @bewbymane
      @bewbymane 22 дня назад

      I normally camp in a tent, but last time I went I tried out my hammock. It poured. 2/5 tents were soaked, and the next day they tracked mud in the ones that weren't. I stayed completely dry the entire time. Going tomorrow for round 2. I'm praying it goes the same it's supposed to rain again.

      Hi, if it’s any help, I’ve been UK hammocking for about two years and I use a 3x4m tarp in winter, and a 3x3 ultralight tarp in summer (set up diagonally to cover the ends of my 3 metre hammock) :)

      Glad you like the video and subbed! The tarp was great. Its 12ft x 10ft Gold Armour Rainfly Tarp with tie loops all over. My hammock is a double wide one so its around 9 ft long and you want about a ft of overhang above both ends of the hammock. I used a smaller tarp around 9x9 in a windy storm and got drenched!

      Thank you! I use a double wide wise owl hammock with wise owl straps. Get ultralight tarp atleast 12x12 to have overhang over the Hamic. If the lows are below 55° get it cheap under quilt on Amazon. Then your normal, sleeping bag and pad inside and you’re good 👍
