I don't understand why you would bring a tiny dog, or any dog, with you when weather report is so bad.

WOW!!! I only have one question. WHY??? It's a miracle you and boomer weren't injured. It was a definite relief knowing that you and your buddy survived. Hurricanes are not to be messed with. We were in a Category 1 (Isabelle 2003) and we were without power and landlines for 8 days! We'll never ride one out again! Your next camping adventure will be like a walk in the park. Stay safe!

Wee dog's weather sense is clearly on point.

Definitely a bad idea. You never know what objects will fly through the wind and hit/harm you. Glad you are ok.

As a Army veteran who has been in the woods for several tornadoes and a lot of bad thunderstorms, that was awesome that you made it through and was able to film it during. Great job

I went back and watched about the last 30 minutes again and I have to say you must have a guardian angel with you because it seemed the only 2 trees left were attached to your hammock! Definitely one of the best hammock camping videos I’ve ever seen!

Im a grandma on a walker with a bad back and foot. why I say this is because watching this video sure relaxes me. wish I could be there myself out in nature. my son lives with me and has health issues also and he loves this stuff to. God Bless you and thanks.

Honestly… I normally watch camping videos as I find it relaxing. This just gave me anxiety from start to finish 😳

Based on the destruction, i can't imagine how strong the wind must have been. This isn't fun anymore, this is insane.

Great footage. Really interesting and cool. As a fairly regular viewer I have to say though that putting your own life in danger is one thing but putting the dogs life in danger is another. Maybe leave the dog at home during your next hurricane camp out...but I'm glad you two made it out safe. Cheers

Sometimes enduring extreme conditions makes for the best memories. Sure makes you appreciate your warm bed when you get back home, too

Living on the gulf of Mexico I've been out in hurricanes also, thinking they weren't bad, and then seeing the aftermath the next day I realized how ignorant it was to be out in it.

You and Boomer deffently had a Guardian Angel there protecting you both during hurricane Fiona's wrath.

Wow, THAT was a night! Crazy winds and falling trees. Boomer is adorable and so trusting of you. I’ve never seen anything like this “live time”. I’m so glad your trees held while the rest of the forest went down. I loved the hammock-chair with the tarp. I’m sure you and Boomer slept well when you got home. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

Living in North West Australia, I have lived through my fair share of cyclone's. And I know I wouldn't have be brave enough to try and camp through one. I am glad you and your little mate made it out safely.

Boomer looks scared at the end. I hope this wasn't a traumatic experience for that little guy. You guys were lucky!!!!

This was insane. I have never seen so many trees down in NS. You're lucky you weren't crushed by a tree.
