I didn’t have a round pan, also the 150 degree (300 degree in Fahrenheit did not cook, I had to adjust it to 400 degree and added 15 more minute), then I forgot to cool it down and chilled it before taking it out from the pan, so my cake turn out like a slab or yellowish sponge cake, But it was soo delicious, soft and moist, and the sweetness was just perfect! !, I put pineapple jelly topping, WOW!!! so perfect with my tea!! I cant even share this with anyone at this time!! Thank You Cooking Tree!!!

Thanks for making me feel better too, my very first egg white with sugar whipping was messed up, I have to redo, also why is mine taking so long ( the timing is almost done, but the top part of the cake still looks uncooked?, I set the temp to 300 degrees Fahrenheit as my oven is not in centigrade?)

Vanilla extract is something different again. Essence and extract are derived from vanilla beans, but vanilla bean paste is much less processed and is closer to using vanilla pods.

uwulas you should try her easier recipes first like cookies and crepes ! I’ve done a few of her recipes and they turned out great
