What a power couple. 😉 Your couple name would be Tron. 😂 I guess imma have to go shopping again….there were quite a few braids that I definitely need. The ones you weren’t sure what to name made me think of sandy beaches and blue water. I was definitely surprised by Iris…what a cool idea! It turned out great, too, and Discombobulated is on my shopping list. If John is still taking one-word inspirations, here are a few: Dragons June Scorcher Kilt
So awesome!! I was just sitting down to Spin and looking for some company and inspiration and lo and behold there You and John were!! I love Spinning to your Videos!! You and John are such an incredible 'Team"!! Beautiful Fibers Created by Beautiful People!! 💗💗💗💗💗💗
Your targhee reminds me of New Mexico skies and high desert- so maybe a New Mexico name- Santa Fe, Taos, Rio Grande Gorge, Georgia Okeefe? Johns colors were stunning. Definitely should repeat.
Omg.. I was waiting for him to talk about a happy little tree... and there's no mistakes. And then he said Bob Ross! Love this! I wish my husband would try dying with me. Thank him over and over for doing this! 😍🎨🖼❤
Love seeing hubby joining in our hobbies. Wow! They all turned out beautiful 😍. I’m excited I am picking up and older four harness table loom. I been wanting to weave. It was a funny I tried to watch this video and my electric kept popping in and out. So I set down told myself going to watch this Holy crap we had that power outage Couldn’t watch. Lol I was little scared to watch today Tell John welcome back ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Watching John make "iris" I kept thinking it looked like the evil eye symbol. Whatever gets made from that fiber will protect the wearer from ill intentions and evil doers! Love his thought process!
Hi John! 👋 Love the theory behind discombolated! That's something I would attempt and now know how! 😁😇 The wools came out amazing! Especially River stones, abalone, and the autumn afternoon. I'm more towards the abalone and riverstones myself because I love nature's natural wonders.
Wow!! Loved every minute of this video, every colorway was great and the two of you together are just so fun and heartwarming (wellllcome baaaaaack!)!! If John wants to do round 2 I have a list of words he can pick from: Lollygag, Kerfuffle, Flummoxed, Peacock, Wild Turkey, Blueberry Pie, Summertime...let me know if he needs more 😜
Thanks Trish and John! Those are all gorgeous! It's always so much fun to watch you guys dye together. The one you didn't name reminds me of some of the different wild flowers we have here.
The pink and blue-purple could be Gemstones. All are beautiful. I really like the discombobulated. The gray mother of pearl is also gorgeous. You both have a knack for color selection. What a great video! Blessings.
The quick smile.. rolling 🤣🤣! I could just watch all the blooper intro's they make me laugh. I really like that you put the bloopers in. I have never dyed fiber. I don't know if I ever will but I love watching how it's done and how the colors turn out. It always amazes me. It's so cool!
What a fun dye date! So when I heard the word “iris” I totally thought John meant the flower. I was very confused for longer than I’m willing to share before I got “gigantic eyeball” 😂
So excited to see another dyeing video from you two! So inspirational and fun - love it! From Tasmania - 9am here so I have a whole day to play with dye as well! 👏😃
those were some fun colors and your honey’s representation of the color way names he chose were very good, so much fun that you two can work and have fun together!
The discombobulated reminds me of my Iris flowers even though it John did a different take on "Iris". I liked them all. I'm getting Detroit Lion vibes from his Iris lol. I have Ocean Surf in my head for those blue and caramel tone Targhee ones. Pink, purple and blue reminds me of My little Pony. I'm familiar with Walrus syndrome LOL. The rest of my dyes should get here tomorrow. Have a great visit with your pops. Oh, and I LOVED the Kitty cat one too.
I love seeing you two together. I have a question for John. We must took a motorcycle ride from Iowa to Tennessee. On a ultra classic, 2007. I was able to get an Icelandic skin. But, we still had to stop every hour to stand up. What fleece is more dense and fluffy? My old bones couldn't do it again. And he wants to go to Oregon, crater lake again. Motorcycle is the ONLY way to see the mountains. You have to try the dragons tail!
Oh darn…. I’m too late to the party to purchase the RiverRock braid….. I see it on the website and it turned out lovely. Good job. They all turned out so good and I think I am partial to that BFL base……
Hello from France, 🌺🌿🌞🍒 I've been following you both for quite some time now. And it's really cool to watch your work. I'm a spinner, carder, weaver and knitter and you gave so many ideas; so many thanks for your energy, your positive vib. I 'm starting to dye the yarns I spun and I would like to know if you could give me the name of your suppliers please. I know it's somewhere in my notes because in several dye's videos you talk about them but...Hope you're ok and happy Tour de Fleece. I'm on french team. See you. 💖💜🧡💚
So Cool. I’ve done dying before, both natural dyes and chemical dyes, and love playing with the colors. Unfortunately, I don’t currently live in a situation where I can set up some dye pots. Maybe some f=day.
I have a big old electric turkey roaster that I never use. It also has 3 smaller pans that fit in it. I want to use it for dying but don't know how high to keep the temp for Dorset. Any suggestions?
Oh man I have to get and spin what I have already bought before I can buy more. I am loving the earth tones
Love seeing/hearing John do the "welcome back!". So cute.
Trish you and John are so cute!😍
Riverstones is beautiful, I love the blue/yellow colour way as well.
Thank you! I'll have to get him to do more river stones so I can keep one 🤣
Fun! It gave me a charge that you guys chose autumn afternoon. 😊
What a power couple. 😉 Your couple name would be Tron. 😂

Well dang! Everything is sold out already!
I'm loving the "riverbed" roving!
So awesome!!

You and John are such an incredible 'Team"!!
Beautiful Fibers Created by Beautiful People!!
💗💗💗💗💗💗
Those Targhee braids 😍 the unnamed ones make me want to say seaglass or something along those lines
Thank you! I don't know why I didn't see that!
Your targhee reminds me of New Mexico skies and high desert- so maybe a New Mexico name- Santa Fe, Taos, Rio Grande Gorge, Georgia Okeefe?
Johns colors were stunning. Definitely should repeat.
I would love for him to repeat river rocks so I can keep one!
Omg.. I was waiting for him to talk about a happy little tree... and there's no mistakes. And then he said Bob Ross! Love this! I wish my husband would try dying with me. Thank him over and over for doing this! 😍🎨🖼❤
I thank him by getting it all ready and cleaning it all up 😂

Tell John welcome back ☺️☺️☺️☺️
I will tell him 🤣. We really have a lot of fun doing this together.
I loved this video. Stunning colour ways as usual. And so nice to see you both, very inspirational. ♥️🧶♥️
We had a great time!
He's got a natural instinct for colors! We need more men in the arts and craftworks.
Aww Johh chose the sparkle fiber for your iris color way. How sweet!
Love all the different color combinations and want to try dyeing some of my roving in some of the different arrangements you showed.
We had so much fun
Omg they are all so pretty. You both did a great job.
Happy sand!!!
Oh wow! All the wool turned out great! Awesome I can make the friday event!
Watching John make "iris" I kept thinking it looked like the evil eye symbol. Whatever gets made from that fiber will protect the wearer from ill intentions and evil doers! Love his thought process!
I never even thought about the protection but we might just have to make that a series. I love it
Absolutely love the colours, your John is very good at his ideas and style. Thank you.
I love John's thought process for Discombobulated.
Pink, purple and blue could be “confused hydrangea” as it is the color hydrangeas get when the soil is part acidic and part not acidic.
Hi John! 👋 Love the theory behind discombolated! That's something I would attempt and now know how! 😁😇 The wools came out amazing! Especially River stones, abalone, and the autumn afternoon. I'm more towards the abalone and riverstones myself because I love nature's natural wonders.
We had a great time and river stones was a favorite for me too!
Always love watching dying. Everyone is unique and the end results are awesome.

They all came out do pretty. John has found a new calling. Both of you are inspiring. Keep the inspiration coming.
Thanks so much
What a fun dye date! So when I heard the word “iris” I totally thought John meant the flower. I was very confused for longer than I’m willing to share before I got “gigantic eyeball” 😂
Same here! We were talking about how different our ideas were on each word and how it might be fun to both do our own versions next time.
I thought flower too!
@@FiberLoveDiary that’s a great idea!!
They are all gorgeous but I like the Autumn afternoon the most.
I always love your bloopers ❤
Beautiful!!! I would name the turquoise / beige one --> caribbean shore. The the blue / purple / pink --> cyberpunk.
That was SO much fun. I am so glad I saw iris. John you surprised me on that one. I love watching the dyeing videos!!!!!!!
This was the BEST! You two are adorable together. The dynamic fiber duo!
Happy Father’s Day to all your dad people! All the pretty braids!11
Thank you!
So excited to see another dyeing video from you two! So inspirational and fun - love it! From Tasmania - 9am here so I have a whole day to play with dye as well! 👏😃
Love all the fiber colors! It’s great seeing you both dye the fiber together!
Thank you! 😊
I always love your dyeing videos! The reveal at the end is just MAGICAL! ❤️
Oh thank you!
The pinks and blues remind me of crocus. They all turned out beautiful.
I love how the Autumn Days turned out, but I'm looking forward to spinning the Kitty Cat CorridaleX.
The Kitty Kat was one of John's favorites.
LOL, love the "iris". I was thinking of the flower, not an eye. How clever.
Same here!
those were some fun colors and your honey’s representation of the color way names he chose were very good, so much fun that you two can work and have fun together!
this was so fun! I love how you Name the different braids
Sometimes I just use initials because my naming prices is so weird 🤣
Oh my “ discombobulated” ❤️❤️❤️❤️
They are all so beautiful. I think Hydrangea would be a good name for the un-named braids.
Seeing the dyeing is so cool. I love the colors John made from inspiration.

Sands on the Beach for the blues and brown!! ⛱️
John I think you’re a natural. All the colorways turned out beautiful it would be hard to pick just one
Great seeing you both dye. I’d be hard pushed to pick a fave! I gasped at pretty much all of them!
We have a great time!
Lovely braids! John is quite the poet.
Love, love, love this video. There are several braids I “need”. I think the person that came up with discombobulated should get first dibs on it!!
Autumn Afternoon; Chocolate Covered Cherries my favorite. Thank you Trish and John.
Loved watching this, ran over to the shop and nabbed “Autumn Afternoon”. Thank you Trish and John. 😀
Lol! Not that I've ever done that...
The teal/brown/blue reminds me of beach-combing looking for sea glass.
They sold first. I was surprised. I'm going to do them again and use something beachy for the name
What a great idea! My faves are the River Rocks and the Abalone!
Mine too!
Autumn afternoon is my favorite but I do love that BFL base in any colorway.
Good job John!! Love all the color ways.
I loved everything that you guys spun !!
My ideas for your two are: blue/tan "Beaches"
And the pink/purple "Wisteria"
I did go with wisteria for the pink purple. The others were bought first!
Oh my goodness!! I am so honored that you went with the name i suggested for your beautiful fiber!!
I really love the river rocks one John did.. it turned out fabulously!
Me too. I'll have to ask him to recreate it for me 🤣
@@FiberLoveDiary He may need to create several... I'm sure a few of us would buy them!
Really like seeing your processes in progress. The wool came out beautiful
This was so much fun to watch, love the way they turned out. Blessings.
Another batch of awesome yarn ! Great job! Autumn afternoon was my favorite!
ALL of the braids are beautiful. I’m going to have to dye some wool, too!
John is the Bob Ross of dying fiber.😂
He is! He has really embraced happy accidents!
Love you two together! Lots of fun.
I love watching you dye fiber!
I like the diagonal layout Trish
Oh darn…. I’m too late to the party to purchase the RiverRock braid….. I see it on the website and it turned out lovely. Good job.
They all turned out so good and I think I am partial to that BFL base……
Absolutely great video x
The first 2 you showed with the browns blues and greens reminded me of seaglass xx much love and light x
This was super fun! Thank you for the inspiration you two. It’s helpful because I have wool on the way! 🐑🧶
They’re so pretty, I love them all
Thank you! It was really fun
I didn't think I'd like river rocks but it's my favorite

Hi! I use three different brands right now. Jacquard acid dyed, Dharma acid dyed, and ProChem washfast acid dyes.
So Cool. I’ve done dying before, both natural dyes and chemical dyes, and love playing with the colors. Unfortunately, I don’t currently live in a situation where I can set up some dye pots. Maybe some f=day.
All of those look great, how fun.
The pink & purple! 😍 so pretty
River rocks did come out great
You two are great together.
love the pastels this go around
Gorgeous braids/fiber
Thank you! 😊
pink/purple/blue = crystal garden :)
I love the dyeing videos.
So fun to watch! Great video!
I love them all 💕
Thanks for sharing!
I love how twitterpated you guys are.
He's my favorite ❤️
Cool video thanks
❤️
I li,e seeing the male dying perspective, so fun
So enjoyed this! Now inspired! Never seen braided roving before!.... brilliant idea ..... how do you do that?
Thank you! Cheers!
Hey do you happen to have a free mitten pattern for adults I would really appreciate thats what my dad wants for Father's day
Love the dyeing video. How much acid did you use? And was it in the soak or just the dyeing pans?
Hi , do you prepare/soak the wool ahead of time with a mordant?
I have a big old electric turkey roaster that I never use. It also has 3 smaller pans that fit in it. I want to use it for dying but don't know how high to keep the temp for Dorset. Any suggestions?
That would work great. Generally anything that feels easily I will keep at the slightest simmer. I don't ever take temps. I just watch them closely.
You 2 are cuter than puppies 🤣❤️
You have probably answered this a billion times, but what dyes are you using?
Love how everything turned our, John is also very talented just like yourself! 🥰🧶
