3:17 this part is simply amazing
Awww thank you so much!!
Yes the struggle is real, trying to get people to understand what ambient/ guitar soundscapes are. I really like your sound and your approach, please keep it and your sound going. I say this as a 60 year old man who makes the same sounds, I am always hearing in the nature and my surroundings patterns of sounds. These sounds keep me alive and help me to create my music.
AMAZING!
this is the best thing i've heard for 5years straight. the melody that stroke big things for me. love your vibe too.
I was honored to hear you this weekend at Kripalu's Saturday night Trance Dance. Your music is beautiful, sweet, inspiring and uplifting. Thank you.
no thank you!!!!!
Have you been thinking about writing an actual song based on this jam? It's the best ambient groove I've heard recently.
Oh thank you so much! yeah have got couple of album out but without much groove.. working on a groove one now :-)

here little guy, take this vinyl with you. It will show you the way of great jams like this one. (Album I give you is delving's new album.)
Dude very cool. Thanks for taking the time to make it. PS. You have the longest fingers I've ever seen on a guitar player.
haha :-) thanks
Your approach to music and of course your work is very inspiring, beatiful melodies with a touch of oriental scales, its great and the sound is amazing, congrats Arli and keep them coming!
Love and have a great 2022
Ohh wow that is amazing to read thank you so so much!!!!
Have a beautiful 2022!
That was amazing, to create such an atmosphere of elements combined in a nice harmony its not easy
It is quite easy actually...
Sublime>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> nice to be blown away every once in a while, thanks!
Oh thank you so much Will!! the sound has evolved a lot since that vid! i can't wait to share!
have a great one!
A
This is totally Russel Brand from "Get him to the Greek"
LOL thats funny! yeah i have to agree with on crinkling :( but cant now.. thanks for the honest feedback!
Wow what pedal give you this flute Arabic sound?
Arli, this is damn inspiring. Thanks for being so kind and sharing all this picture behind your music.
Would love to collaborate with you one day.
Much love
Dude! wow thank you so much!! this vid is 2 years old now it has been a massive evolvement in sound and approach ;) would be be an honour to collaborate with bro!! you are a special talent :))
This is insane and I love it , honestly I randomly fell on your RUclips Channel and saw this video and was like "wow" , even though I was and still am a huge fan of Heavy Music (metal/trash metal...) I start to get interested by ambiant music and looping stuff and here this is exactly what I've been looking for for months , this is so inspiring and at the same time so relaxing to hear what you do !
Keep going you are really talented !
that's is so so so nice to hear thank you so much!! good luck with the ambiant world :-)
I love the blend of hi end and cheaper pedals you use. Tony Levin and Jerry Marotta would be proud of that groove
One of the best videos eveeeeer, I love the vibe love the mood, thank u RUclips for recommended it to me again ❤
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !!
I'm loving this, brilliant
Thanks so much!
That was really cool. I didn't quite pick up how that big bass sound was achieved though which would be awesome to know. I've got a dd-7 pedal I use as a looper for now but that ability to shut them off/on like in the video seems really epic.
Thanks for sharing this Arli. I'm working on sounds like this myself, a massive help to see how you are set up.Again, big thanks.
Fantastic, thanks for the short but inspiring lesson.
Excellent stuff. Been thinking of getting an e-bow and you've made my mind up. Loved the video.
You’re crazy arli the best one
I love it! That's a really great piece of art!
great!.That sound that came out from your guitar simple amazing and mind blowing. Thanks for sharing man.
oh thank you so much!
Wow! Awesome!
I mostly play jazz standards, but I'm interested in exploring ambient guitar playing. This was just a quick overview, but just this little bit helped give me an idea of the possibilities. So, thanks for the vid!
That's awesome Tom!! Jazz and ambient, it's a terrific combination! good luck :-)
Amazing musicianship.
thanks so much!
Sheer creative and brilliance !!
Awesome
Very cool thanks for sharing 🙏
Sounds awesome and inspiring
Just found you on the tube. Haven't look at any of your other videos yet. Amazing job looking foward to hearing more of your music.
Thanks for the inspiration Arli!
This is beautifully trippy dood! such an inspiration for me. I've had the rc300 for a month now and I love seeing different ideas for looping. this is simple but original and moving. I'd love to chat with you about what you do! keep on makin the boogie man! peace! 😁
ho man thanks so much!! i really appreciate it bro! yeah drop a line when ever you want!!
Wow maaaan. so Awesome happy I found this!!!
It’s pretty obvious to me that you are creating all these sounds. They obviously don’t understand or know how music and musical equipment works and that you can be a one man band so to speak. Those sounds A M A Z I N G!!!
Great soundscapes :)
Thank you!
I liked it a lot, this is great work. keep on! just subscribed.
oh thanks so much buddy!!
beautiful
Your playing is awsome compadre. Greetings from Mexico City. Whenever you want to over, never mind the earthquakes, ésta es tu casa!! Mario Reyes fb.
Great tones....inspiring....
thanks so much!!
Nice gear, great work . Thanks !
That's outstanding! Amazed by this. Wonderful sound and playing man! Something spiritual here...Love it! Did you use the Fender amp in background? I'm looking for a great tube amp (little combo wattage) to do my basic clean sound and add pedals. What do you suggest? Fender blues junior?
Oh thanks so much man!! i really appreciate your kind words! yeah re amps I'd suggest to save up for a fender twin blackface reissue 65' it's the most flexible amp for pedals in my view :-) instagram.com/p/BFiaMb0CoIu/?taken-by=arliliberman i use 2 (stereo) for my life set up.
if you want something smaller maybe go for the Fender Blackface Princeton (simple is best)
thanks
A
Arli Liberman you're welcome. thanks for advices, for sharing and keep on rockin' man ;-)
.
Awesome! So inspiring!
thank you!
Awesome!!!
How did you get the loop to be seamless? When i've tried looping these ambient textures I don't know how to get rid of the clipping that happens when the loop stops and starts at the beginning again... Any help much appreciated!
What I find helps is to make sure you are already playing and hearing the reverb/delay when hitting record for the first time. Otherwise you start with a dry signal and get that classic "restart" clipping.
You know the silent loop proces? It helps a lot. Make first a silent loop for as long as needed. When playing now soundscapes over it they never end/cut
Hope that helps
this guy is epic!
hey dude. great video! getting into ambient(ish) guitar myself at the mo and found this really insightful :)
That is so awesome to hear buddy!! best of luck!
Awesome bro!
thanks!
this is craaaaazy good
oh thank you SO MUCH!
Such a siiick guitar
really amazing insight thanks!
awesome! thank you so much!!!!!
Very nice ! How did you put the rc300 in your signal chain ? Before the amp ? in the amp effect loop ?
Thanks man :-) the rc300 is in the end of my pedalboard chine. our of the looper i run stereo out to 2 amps and stereo out to DI..
thanks man :)
Excellent piece of work man. But tell me. Are you in standard tuning to use the Ebow ?? Thanks.
This guy is such a pro. It's not even funny. Goals.
Perfect!
Nice!😎
great inspiration!
Thanks :-)
Please mention what gear You use in this video
Great demo. I really appreciate you taking the time to share it. I do have a question. I really love the percussive sound you are getting by hitting the guitar. Is there anything special you are doing to get that, or is it just the proximity your hand taps the guitar on or near the pickup. Jon Gomm does percussive taps on his guitar, but it is acoustic and he actually has a mic inside the guitar as well as a piezo pickup and another pickup.
hey wow thank you so much! yeaah i took the time to develop and refine this percussive sound (still do) I use and hormonic Generator (HOG2) so i expose some low-end + boster & reaverb so its sound big and dynamic..
Wow cool
Wait, are u just muting your strings for the percussion effect?
fuckingly dreadfully amazingly beautiful song.
Amazing…
That music is incredible, thank you for sharing it!!! Have you recorded any songs that have a similar bass groove like that example? And if you ever play in the states, specifically Oregon or Washington I'm there!!!
Hey man thanks so much!! yeah I'm in the recording prosses these days with the new grooves :-) will defently let you know when I'm beck to the states!
Pease
A
What is the pedalboard you use? Awsome video, tia
I love your work my brother it’s really exquisite what you do and how you put it together a lot more exciting than some of the other people who just do drones, but there’s always a value in that too anyway just would love to talk to you sometime😊
have you used the e-bow with a wah, as an expression pedal? I love doing that...I have a Dunlop 535Q so I can narrow the bandwidth so it doesn't get too bright when the wah is engaged toe down. Give it a go...
incredible.
inspiring
THANK U!!!
Mind blowing
wow ! love that !
thanks so much!!!
simply stunning....how did you get that deep deep base?.....what guitar are you using?.....awesome job Arli, love your style.
thank you so much Neil! HOG 2 for the bass sound & www.langcaster.com/ is my guitar (but i modified the pickups)
have a great one!
Absloute amazing bro. Best wishes from Germany 🤘👍
Oh thanks so much! same to you!
Awesome music Arli! The ebow was amazing, do you have a longer version of it? 😀 I could listen to that on continues loop.
thank you buddy! not yet but soon :-)
Beautiful...
thank you!!!!! :-)
just wow!
Hey dude, awesome playing! Was wondering what loop pedal you use? Once the loop is recorded in logic does it just continue to record? Not sure how to word this question but hopefully you understand and can help me out.
Cheers!
Hey buddy :-) thanks for that! so, i use the boss RC-300 looper and theres many deferent configurations you can that design yourself.. planing to do an instructional video just about that soon :-)
ARLI thanks dude! Look forward to it!
Inspiring Thanks
Dont justify wat u do. Just create awesomeness. Nice back drop and u got a cool look
thanks so much!!!
I like it
Folks...what I've learned over the last 5years is that once you've gotten over selfish egoistic tendencies and try to completely Get Out Of Your Own Way..THEN..reproach the way you're thinking about your direction & intent towards the way you're touching your guitar or bass instrument..that you may really finally accomplished a true breakthrough & emotion in your soundscape & sonic harmonics in your playing and that once you've finally made that Sonic brealthrough..you'll NEVER want to play cover music any longer because you've finally graduated to the next dimension in your musical expression and you can truly AMAZE yourself each time you approach this new dimension of yourself! Just make sure that you've got the same type of moody backdrop Studio ot bedroom vibe that helps place yourself into that mood emotion.
..in other words...STOP playing for other people (well maybe to your Cat) and simply focus on where your hands are taking you NOT thinking what others expect or desire!
This guy is the coolest guy ever to live and I'm sure he'll be the first one to admit it. Projectories isn't a word and yoga isn't psychedelic. You've got some great stuff going on here, just turn down the you
interesting thank you so much for that!
WOW!!!
Awesome man. In what tuning do you play? Standard tuning? That low E string seems pretty loose. Thanks.
This is fantastic man! I've been playing around with various loop ideas for years on the old RC-50 I've got and love experimental ambient stuff like this. Is there anywhere I could go to look at the various other pedals you've got set up in this?? I'm especially wondering what kind of config you used to be able to create that awesome percussion sound with an electric guitar? Sounds GREAT!
thank you so much!! made my day! percussion: i use staked hum-bakers and i look for the sweet spot to hit the string for the "bass dream " and the "snare" one i found it i just add booster reaverb and a lil bit of low end from my HOG 2 :-)
Cool👍
Pure epic! Is this stereo? Amazing 👏
hello thank you!! yes split stereo: LR to AMPS & LR to D.I :)
what pedal do you use to process the percussive sounds? it sounds just amazing!
and how is the drone so nicely looped? i often get clips at the end or beginning of the drone. is there some reverb after the loopstation?
thats butiful man .. keep on .. what effect do you use for creating the drums sound ?
thanks man! I use and hormonic Generator (HOG2) so i expose some low-end + boster & Big sky reaverb :-)
Do you look for an amp that has a flat EQ or u just have the ability to experiment with alot of amps and that way u find your amp sound? btw hows it going what are u up to nowadays?
Dope
Hey what are those three additional tuners for on your headstock above your inline 6???
I think those are the tuners, the last three in a line are just pegs to send the string down to the fretboard
I do similar stuff, it feels good, its relaxing...
Arli is that a Crimson guitar you have there ? Really nice.
This is sooo beautiful! Which scale are you playing in at 3:18? Thanks!
Hey Arli, how did you create that seamlessly sustaining drone sound at the beginning? With the HOG? And may I ask you which compressor you're using?
2:57 which pedal was that?
Any updates on this? What is sustaining the chord
loop probably
he's using a volume pedal, with the delay and reverb.. and plucking the chord and then rolling in the volume with the volume pedal!!! also called swells :)
Strymon Timeline
super nice :)
Arli, you are amazing! Can you made a vídeo with tips and tricks using ebow and whammy together?
yess absolutely that a great idea! thank you for that!
if want to know our sound, please take a look ruclips.net/video/X1n6YAQY-Uw/видео.html (i'm the guy with a hat and googles [lead guitar])
Awesome !! , What camera did you use in this video?
maximiliano dominguez must be a Klotz 12a
That was inspiring thank you so much... What looper are you using?
Hey buddy THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! i use the awesome RC - 300 (Roland Boss)
Awesome! Thanks for sharing it
