Beast Wars Writers "Didn't Care" for Tigerhawk - and more with Beast Wars Writer Bob Forward.

Beast Wars: Transformers writer Bob Forward says that Tigerhawk was a Hasbro decision and that the writers didn't care for the character, as well as commenting on working on Transformers: Animated, introducing serialized storytelling in Beast Wars, and the romantic relationships of the Beast Wars characters.
Bob Forward's writing credits are many. While well-known in the Transformers universe for Beast Wars, we can't possibly overlook his many contributions to animation including Transformers: Animated, Transformers: Rescue Bots, X-Men Evolution, Bravestarr, COPS, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and He-Man and that Masters of the Universe.

How ironic, that the people who made the show care not for a character that fans seem to love. What do you think it was that made Tigerhawk so polarizing?

Honestly, I think they did truly like Tigerhawk, but most likely fought with Hasbro to try and keep em and in failing they gained a bitter taste for the character. Afterall they worked hard to make Tigerhawk a thing in the show.
If you notice after that the show seemed very rushed. I think they'd had enough at that point with Hasbro.
Could also be why the Beast Machines series had designs that didn't matter if they could make toys or not.

@@EmeraldFatalis Season 3 definitely feels like it moves at a breakneck pace after Megatron becomes a dragon. Before that there wasn't much of a feeling that the season was building towards anything major and then BAM! The Beast Wars must end soon. This is a clear difference from Season 2 where there were hints and teases along the way as to what the major plot points that culminated in the Agenda where.

Well it was pretty obvious that Tigerhawk was an insult to the characters that comprised him
