Hey guys sorry for not posting I couldn't find the upload button
I just wanted to say thanks for supporting me and the channel, the last few months have been crazy for me, but the fact that you guys continue to support me rules. Tons of people go to Germany, but it’s much less discuss for a few reasons the first being going to Germany isn’t seen as going to anywhere that far out of the way or exotic. The second is most people can think of tons of reasons to go to Germany that don’t involve poon hounding. Third is Germany’s commercial sex scene isn’t talked about so much. Fourth and last is it’s a western European white country, so SJW‘s and White Knights can’t complain about colonialism or exploiting poor women or whatever.

I've been to Japan twice and if I was riding the packed subways I'd see Johnny Somali's face pop up on their phones while they were browsing social media next to me. He did a lot of damage to how Japanese people view foreigners/tourists and he left a very low impression amongst many. You really have to consider how much of a public menace you've made yourself when you have Japanese people sniping you trying to either confront or hurt you, and trust me, it's a very patient and tolerant culture.
Lol it was mostly Black people who had a problem with him because they already know in most of the world that the generic Sub Saharan behaviour is already exposed. However what he was doing was minor. There are a lot worse characters out there domestic and foreign that people who live in the real world are aware of.

I'm an American who's visited Thailand as a tourist (I have family who live there). Its really sad to me how sex tourists have ruined the perception of it and other countries like it. It really is a beautiful place with a lot of value to be found as a tourist and tourism can really help local economies especially outside of Bangkok.

I once traveled to Vietnam for a wedding of relatives (not Vietnamese myself) and girls will trow yourself at you if you seem like you got money. I wasn't looking for anything like that because I was just there for the wedding and I wanted to see as much as I can before I had to leave. Vietnam as beautiful I would recommend visiting if it wasn't for the social dynamics. What kind of person do you have to be to take advantage of that? I may go back one day when they aren't that poor anymore because I don't like getting used for having money. BTW didn't even have much money at the time was just dressed nice because of the wedding.

I find it so strange to go to Bali (indonesia) as an Australian, watch povo lads from here act like gods and spit on the Balinese people, exploit the shit out of them and all that fun stuff and yet when I talk to the people that I know from Indonesia, when I read forums and all of that, I can’t seem to find too much complaint. It's not always as expensive as you'd think. I visited Germany in 2019, round trip ticket from USA to Germany was only $300. I spent maybe $30/night or so on AirBnBs. Went to Japan last year for about $560-600 or so for the ticket, about $25-35/night for hotels, varied.

I'm teaching myself about Japanese military history, especially naval. A big part of why tourists aren't thought of highly in Japan is due to a lack of respect for history. A lot of tourists forget that Japan wasn't always the land of anime, and has had a long history, especially when it comes to war. Even a lot of those who visit stuff like museums and war memorials aren't exactly respectful of Japanese culture surrounding honoring war dead. Sometimes it can be a misunderstanding, but unfortunately a lot of the time tourists don't care, and I've heard of people being openly mocking of memorials (the controversial memorial to kamikaze pilots is an example, though I think a lot of the controversy comes from cultural differences). I suppose the only good thing about Americans not learning history is that they tend not to know of historical sites in foreign countries, so people who actually care about history can still visit and learn without a bunch of idiots around.
P.S. Don't even get me started on the issues with tourists in other much more somber places.
I think learning about Japanese history will probably only make a lot of people hate Japan. They've done a lot of war crimes and they've pretty much denied all of it.
There's a reason why travel was a privilege reserved for so few (the Italian Grand Tours during the Victorian Era come to mind). The reality is that most people in general lack the restraint, foresight or intelligence to really fathom what a different culture is and why said culture even is different. The easiest way to distill it down is to call it a theme park mentality.
IMO, its gotten worse in recent history partly due to social media sociopathy, but also due to the problem of progressively poor parenting and total disregard for manners and respect. It's rare to find people who say "sir" or "ma'am" or believe in any modesty *for its own sake* outside of retail in the US. When those people go abroad, they're going to be all the worse.
As an addendum, I also think this is part of why Japanophilia continues to expand (I would call myself one, especially as a fan of its naval history). While even basic American manners degrade, Japanese manners remain constant. So even something as basic as asking people for permission to photograph or saying "excuse me, no thank you, please, I apologize for the misunderstanding" etc makes Japan seem all the more exotic, when sadly, America *used* to have comparably good manners and hospitality.

I'm a UK man married to a Kenyan woman, we're both late 20s though met when we were both 18 studying in the UK. Honestly before meeting her I had absolutely no interest in travel, but when we were friends seeing pictures she'd taken in Kenya changed my mind - we've since road tripped Kenya a handful of times, we were married in her village in rural northern Kenya, the culture and people are incredible there and I feel honoured that I was welcomed by everyone and very lucky that the likely very dull future I had as a legal rep was changed so that I got to travel and see a world completely different to the one I grew up in with someone that I love. This is how travel and exposure to a foreign culture can change your life for the better.
One year we went to Mombasa for a vacation and it was FILLED with old white men with so so young Kenyan women. We were sat at a bar one evening and one of them even tried to sit with us asking how often I go to Mombasa for that, was half between being sick or swinging a punch at them. My wife even said later on she thought I was going to hit them from how disgusted I looked, but saner minds prevailed and I told them to just get the fuck away from us. It's gross, this is how travel can be abused in such a horrible way by disgusting creeps.

Actually, I would say straight guys without a girlfriend could very well go to places like Thailand without being a sex tourist. Prostitutes already exists in most countries, and if you really wants to make an appointment with one, you don't have to travel to the other side of the world. I have never been in any of these sex tourism countries myself, but if I do go there it will be for the travel itself (not so much for the culture, as I have never cared about those things), joining guided tours into tropical forests or coral reefs.
