@@timrob12 YESSSS!!! I literally gasped 😱🤯 I was like FINALLY!!!!!!!!
While Mickey is looking at Walt's photo the song playing is "Feed the Birds" from Mary Poppins, reportedly Walt's favorite. It was specially recorded for this short by Richard Sherman, the surviving Sherman Brother, playing a piano that was in Walt's office.
Aaawww that is so touching ❤️
I may not give out Oscars, but I nominate Once Upon a Studio for Best Animated Short Film.
Totally!
Disney gave it a theatrical release in LA to qualify for that Oscar. (I think it had to be before the TV airing.) It will also run in front of Wish next month.
@@richellebrittain2127 ooooohhh cool it should totally win!
For me the biggest cameo surprised in this special was seeing Chicken Little and Princess Eilonwy. They always felt like their black sheep from the Disney Animated Canon. So glad the creative team didn't leave them out.
6:41 Actually, those three characters were from the Disney short Wind in the Willows before it was conjoined with Legend of Sleepy Hollow to create Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.
10:52 That is actually The Reluctant Dragon from the Dusney short of the same name. Nessie has greener scales and is shorter. You see her behind Ariel and Eric later on.
14:43 That's Big Mama from Fox and the Hound.
Huh 🤔 really…I didn’t know that! Thanks for the info! 👍🏻
One of the best Disney short Film ever in all of Disney History!
I couldn’t agree more! They should make another one!
2:25 that’s technically from The Rescuers, the first film.
10:41 unfortunately that isn’t Gilbert Gottfried, that’s a new actor who voiced Iago.
I know I couldn’t believe it wasn’t him! The new guy sounded just like him
@@DisneyDudeAndDudette His name is Piotr Michael.
They have to find a new Voice actor to do the voice of Iago ever since Gilbert Gottfried passed away.
R.I.P Robbin William and Pat Carol
Yes indeed 😢 they were the best 🙏🏻
Elsa must have had a bad ice day, because Hans ended up in the end photo anyways.
Hahaha I know right! He squeezed in 😂🤣😂
But how?
Lucille from Meet the Robinsons is a coffee addict in this movie. So it makes sense, that she's at the coffee/teabar.
Oh my goodness you’re right! I didn’t even think of that hahahahahahaha
@Sebastian-Iw5qb well as Lucille said she’s got the caffeine patch with Each patch being the equivalent of 12 cups of coffee. ☕️
@@EChacon yup! Makes sense! I’m the same hahahah ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
Great video explaining about Once Upon A Studio especially with Disney Characters from the Theatrical Disney Animated Movies and it puts a huge smile on my face when they bring back my favorite Disney characters especially Aladar and the Lemurs from Dinosaur 2000, Lewis and Wilbur from Meet The Robinsons, Tarzan and Jane and the Lion King characters and it’s nice to see them interact with each other and can’t wait to see what they’re gonna do next with this.
Great video and keep it up.
I know it was so cool to see some of the forgotten Disney characters! 👍🏻 thank you so much! 😊 I’m so happy you liked it 👍🏻

Take a shot for every "we also (get to) see".
As for a character you missed, in Cody's arms in the final picture, we've got Jake from Rescuers Down Under.
And in the shot where Mickey flies on Dumbo, you can see Sisu's horn poking from the bottom left as well. I mean, I know we saw her earlier, but it's funny she snuck into another shot.
10:50 Correction: That’s The Reluctant Dragon.
Oops!
The Disney version of Ready Player One.
Hahahahahaha
I love that you can see how much it hurt dolores when skittle started singing since hee powers
Hahahaha yeah her face was like….yikes 😂
13:32 He forget to say of the litter

Now this is the Disney I know, love and grew up with!
I know! I thought the same thing!
i love Disney’s once upon a studio ❤
14:44 that's not owl from winnie the pooh. that's big momma from the fox and the hound

@@wweredwings5 oooooohhhh yeah I see 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
If movies like "King of the Elves" and "Gigantic" were to happen, I wonder how the characters would fit in this short.
10:45 - That's not Gilbert Gottfried, it's Piotr Michael doing a Gilbert Gottfried impression.
Oohhh I thought it was the original guy like the rest 😅
@@DisneyDudeAndDudette Nope. Fooled me at first as well.
@@timrob12 YES! He was really good!
@@DisneyDudeAndDudette Equally for Jim Meskimen as Eeyor and Merlin, Alan Tudyk as The Mad Hatter and Bob Joles as Cogsworth. All actors who haven't voiced this roles before, but did a cracking job.
@@timrob12 it was the best cartoon crossover ever!
6:55 at first I thought they said "to the lobby"
Mickey: Ralph, you need to be more careful. But I’m not Garfield, I’m Mickey Mouse. Garfield is the name of the fat orange cat from a different studio and he’s not a Disney character like us.
Ralph: Huh? Oh right, I knew that. Sorry Mickey.
what a great short
It is truly the coolest one ever!
Actually if you paise the video and zoom into dumbo you can see who I consider to be the most overlooked character in this short roo.
Oh yeah you’re right! I forgot about him! 😅
Not really surprised because in every video I see of people break down cameos that I've seen so far he gets the most missed our of all of them. #justiceforro or not.
Are you gonna do an update video on the people that pointed out the cameos
9:49 Garfield, very Non-20th Century Fox reference.
Good answer
Ferdinand the bull is here!
Yup 👍🏻
There was also a Morden adaptation of Ferdinand in 2017
13:32 you forgot of the litter
Yeah I forgot 😅
My nephew was asking where Goofy s son Max and I eas like Because wasn't in anything from Disney's main studio
Oh yeah! I thought the same thing!
You mentioned Bruno. We don't talk about Bruno.
🎶We don’t talk about Brunoooooo no no no 🎶
"Princess from the Black Cauldron"
Her name is Eilonwy.....
BUT OSWALD! I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE MY SON!!!
Yeah I missed her by accident 😅 I know! I was SO HAPPY to see him!
I guess you forgot more of other cartoons like lightning McQueen , Flik and Atta , Woody and Buzz Lightyear , Darla , Mr. Incredible , Jack Skeleton , Oogie Boogie Man , Charlie Conway and the Mighty Ducks , James with his giant peach, Chance from Homeward Bound , old Yeller and finally Zorro .
Some of those aren't true Disney characters. They are Pixar or other. It's WDAS 100 year.
Shame Stitch's enemy Gantu isn't in this.
Good point!
Disney Dude & Dudette You forgot to mention Rafiki and Nala from The Lion King (1994), two cameo characters in "Once Upon a Studio" (2023).
Eat your hearts out, Ready Player One and Logorama.
And space jam 🤣🤣🤣🤣
13:43 Oh, don’t you mean Creeper from The Black Cauldron?(1985)
Oops lol 😂
Super
Maybe Ralph got hit in the head for making a fool out of Disney in Ralph Breaks the Internet. And Iago's line wasnt audio recordings from Gilbert Gottfried, that was a replacement actor. I was pretty disappointed myself
Maybe? 🤔 I thought it was interesting because isn’t Garfield a universal character??? Yeah the only good part of Ralph breaks the internet was the Disney Princesses otherwise it was boring. 🥱 I know right!!! I totally thought it was him!
@@DisneyDudeAndDudette I didn't even like the Disney heroines scene. They were so out of character in that. And Garfield was bought by Nickelodeon a few years back
@@chad9186 yeah it was only funny when she is in their dressing room. Oohhhh maybe he meant Andrew Garfield LOL 🤣
In case you haven’t noticed, In Once Upon a Studio, Aladdin and Abu are seen sliding down the studio's stair railing after being informed by Maui that they're meeting in the lobby for the group photo, in which he replies "Okay. See you there!", and they end up with six trolls from Frozen.
Mickey: Ralph, you need to be more careful and I’m not Garfield, I’m Mickey Mouse. Garfield is the name of the cat that can talk and he’s not a Disney character like us.
Ralph: Oh I knew that, sorry 😣.
LOL 😂
Hey! You forgot something in the Disney photo is Governor Ratcliffe from Pocahontas is a cameo remember you know the song of mine mine mine and savages?
Oh really I missed that! Oops!
Im assuming and hoping that Dr. Frankenollie was there to represent the Mickey short Runaway Brain. The image of a possessed Mickey Mouse was so disturbing that Disney tends to push this short off to the side, and it has yet to appear on Disney+. Does anyone know if there is anyone there from Runaway Brain?

The one in the background at 10:55, with their hand on their chest is "The Reluctant Dragon." Also, when Johnny Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet first show up, David and Nani are wearing them.
HOO-lieta, and Ah-goo-steen... from Encanto... Spanish pronunciations. T^T Why does everyone say Joo-lieta and Ah-guh-stin?
Alan-A-Dale is kinda pronounced like Alan Adele (like the singer), just with an -ale, instead of -ele.
He He is Hey Hey.
Don't forget about Garfield the cat 🐈😺
Hahahah yup!
And Taffyta To

Once again Song of the South is giving the short end of the stick
Yeah I thought the same thing but they didn’t have Roger rabbit either or enchanted so I guess they were not doing movies that involved live action
@@DisneyDudeAndDudette they still had Marry Poopins Penguins , Pete dragon and the Lion King from Bedknobs and Broomsticks . Rodger not showing up might be cause WFRR was a heavy license movie with Warner Bros so characters made specifically might have been hard through Benny the Cab did appear in House of Mouse.
Its also a shame they couldn't indirectly reference Pixar with Toy Story, Monsters Inc and Inside Out , Nightmare Before Christmas and Brave Little Toaster
@@DisneyDudeAndDudette Enchanted has licensing issues with Giselle, because they would have to pay Amy Adams for her likeness, since Giselle is basically her. Probably also need to get her okay.

In Once Upon a Studio, Chernabog makes a unique cameo but does not appear in the photo with the other characters. The Dalmatian Puppies are watching the Night on Bald Mountain segment on television, when Kristoff passes by them and tells them hurry up or they will have nightmares, that's when Chernabog emerges from nowhere and scares the pups who run away.

This short film is less of a celebration, and more of a tragedy. It shows that when a short film is better than the 100 year theatrical production (Wish), it's actually just a perfect example of what Disney has become - soulless corporate trash.
Honestly, the fact that they included the forgotten Disney movies like The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective, Atlantis, and Treasure Planet, made me cry tears of happiness.
