Progress coming. I like MStL as coach. End of last year - PP, PK, defensive zone coverage … abysmal. Training Camp - the sky is falling. PP/PK brutal. At YS Thanksgiving, both substantially improved. A few weeks ago, defensive zone coverage looked like a mess. Focus by coaches. Last 4 games, looks like something. As Marty says, you can’t fix everything at once. Prioritize. Focus. Get it done. Get on to next item. This club will surprise a lot of people in the back half! Great show Shaun!
Thanks for the comment and you make several key points here. Excited to read more as the season moves forward. Next 30 games are going to mean a lot for a couple of guys 👊🏻
I feel for Hutson its like NBA when you get a new point guard it takes time for players to get used to the moves on the team. Sometimes it take less time to defend against them their new teammates to learn their new teammate moves amd gestures
The prospect that we have - I'm certain some will not live up to expectations BUT future picks will be made, trades completed, signings - it's going to take time to fill the gaps in the roster and for everything to mesh but there's no need to feel a sense of doom
They definitely have been work in progress, and the results are starting to show. The watershed moment in my opinion was the game against the wild. It started in our own zone, and culminated in the O zone against the Oilers. The next 20 should be interesting...
I’m with you Sean, the Habs are playing okay, and I’ve seen real progress in the last 4 games. We have some issues still. MSL has been what I thought, which doesn’t bug me, he’s learning with the team, but I like the tone he has set in the last week or so, making even the top guys more accountable. Gally is our driver this yr. Love his heart and drive, RHP will bring that as well. And Laine being in the ice is a great thing
I hate hearing people taking trash about St-louis. Give the guy a chance, the players love him, and i think that goes a LONG way to extending him some grace when it comes to this season, and perhaps even the next few.
The Habs have progressed very well, especially defensively which is actually the most difficult thing to do. Lets look at it this way: Most NHL defensemen play their best starting at the age of 28. Habs are playing four that are under 24. That is incredible. Even better: They have 3 more in the system that have true NHL potential. As for Condotta, he was named Laval captain for a reason. They have a ton of local guy and they have a demanding coach with NHL exprience in Pascal Vincent and they chose with Condotta. Says it all in my book.
@@honkingantalope When a team is in a rebuild phase, i don't always look at the standings, i look at the development, and in my opinion, the team has steadily improved as the season wore on. The standings refelct a terrible start but the last 5 games or so, have been a good deal better.
To do a proper rebuild you better be able to handle the pain that gos a long with it. This isn't a quick fix. After 3 years a lot of fans wanna step on the gas like its the Decarie expressway. It doesn't work like that. One bad move to appease the fans could derail the rebuild. The Habs will be ready in 2027. Nice video Sean 👏
Just two games played. I’ve been the team is more interested in the younger players they think are ready. That’s why. Heineman and Kapanen and Condotta and then RHP is back very soon
Pierre is ok?? Tell me you know nothing about quality broadcasters without telling me you know nothing about quality broadcasting. Stay in your lane Bobby Boucher
@shaunstarr it's an opinion, not a comment, and you have yours too, thats what makes the world a better place. Me and you don't pick players, we just have opinions.
Première fois que je vous vois, j'aime le ton, j'aime le discours, j'aime la perspective. Je m'abonne.
Eh bien, voudriez-vous regarder ça ! Merci beaucoup et j'ai hâte de lire davantage de vos commentaires cette saison.

Those power bursts v Edmonton on Monday 😍
@ hey do you think theres a chance Laine plays 2 games and calls it a season and gets surgery? I have a feeling

Agreed and I’m ready for the pain and believe the team has some strong pieces 👊🏻

Agreed! And Laine is close so let’s gooo
@shaunstarr I concur, let us all be patient with his return.

Great points 👊🏻
The forwards need to realize that Hutson will get them the puck so they better be ready
It’s coming bro
it will take longer if MSL will keep changes to his line.. why he destroied first line that worked perfect ? because Slaf 3 match injury ?
Reply
Injuries and Dach and I believe he’s more curious to find out chemistry with his players in his system than he is in anything else 👊🏻
My only issue with Mondays games was Dvorak, throwing passes to no one.
😂
Speaking of hard workers, what's going on with Pezzetta? Why the call up if Pezz is just sitting there?

Slaf definitely needs to realize his size and strength and start driving play. I think he will get it, but it's taking a bit long for me

Man I agree!! If he can, he’s gonna be dominant👊🏻
Man, so many habs fans starting to sound like leaf fans. Plan the parade
The difference is, the Habs actually have a chance. 😊
see you there
Pierre is ok but we mostly watch don cherry now I stream the games like most people. TV is dead
Pierre is ok?? Tell me you know nothing about quality broadcasters without telling me you know nothing about quality broadcasting. Stay in your lane Bobby Boucher
This is clearly not a I told ypu so moment stop living in your bubble
Ya thanks for the lifestyle advice Bobby Boucher
48 is a great player, but way too soft for the NHL. But he is a great skater though.
stoppppppppppppp bro. Too soft?? Havent seen a single thing that takes me down that path. He is elusive. Thanks for the comment my man!

Subtitles for « pierre Houde ». Saying « pure hood ». Made me laugh a lot 😂
