One of my favorite Avatar comics. This may sound controversial and don’t worry I’ll give my reasonings if people disagree but Azula is not pure evil like a lot of people believes. She’s a victim like Zuko and she never had someone like Iroh to help her and pull her into the light.

I had to go on several debates about the character because people don’t see it that way. Which is fine I don’t intend to change their views but I want to give my perspective and honest opinion on the character.
Well, this surely explains a lot why Ursa favored Zuko more than Azula. But if this is true, when and how did she get pregnant? (Before Ozai's arrival) - Despite Azula's upbringing and mental health (as a child), it must've been difficult for Ursa to connect with her even though she loved her. (Which is a shame since Azula didn't hear her words when she left) I wonder if one of the reasons she distance herself from Azula (After most of her attempts to connect failed) is because her lack of empathy reminds her of Ozai and what he did. *Tragic man... actually, being someone else's significant other gives access to far more PERSONAL physicalities and secrets. You end up far closer to someone in more ways than a family member ever will. Quality over quantity is key.

That's stupid why can't a kid group up and disagree with there parent rebelling against them is comon this kinda feels like there saying if you're parents are evil you are two it's genetic we can't have one of the hero's be related to the bad guy. Also now he has no right to the throne he's not a blood relative

Wait, let me get this straight. Zuko, isn’t the Son of Ozai and Ursa, but is the son of Ursa and Noren. Knowing this actually makes more since. Why Ozai could’ve easily burn and banish Zuko. And why he treated Azula like she had the world. I think sometime while Ursa was still with Ozai, Noren had somehow managed to talk to her or get in some kinda contact with her. That must’ve been when she had the affair. Then she told Ozai the baby was his.
This is soo good this should’ve been animated so more people can watch book 4 I always knew just because the war ended didn’t mean everything was solved such as zuko mother & the aftermath of the world from dealing with the 100 year war
Still waiting for a book 4 one day covering a fair bit of the comics or a minor timeskip, with a possible Azula redemption arc. Zuko playing the role of Iroh for Azula this time round.
It is possible still. Azulas story extends only few years past the show, whith Korras time still 65 years away. A lot of possibilities. Zuko does not seem to give up on Azula. Sadly we do not still what Azulas ultimate fate is by Korra stiil.
Apart from the sometimes cringy dialog (I just can't see Aang and Katara pulling the "my boyfriend/girlfriend" card so often. Like, we get it, they're dating, it's nice, but you don't have to keep bringing it up every issue lol). It's also kinda cool seeing the birth of Republic City. I hope the series goes on for a bit.
Something that saddens me is that if we did get this animated we probably couldn't get the old voices. Even if they're all alive, it's been years, they probably won't sound the same.
