- It was hard to miss this Silverado in the pits at StreetCar Takeover - Atlanta, being a full size pickup with a bright green paint job. It's easy to overlook the autocross style aero on the car, when there are slicks and a Laguna style exhaust coming out of the bed of the truck. What this seasoned autocross racer didn't know, was that he was about to break a drag racing record on the new setup!

you have a whole bunch of people building street/roadcourse trucks. shelby supersnake f150 sport is a roadcourse truck that can be turned up but then you have aldoweld and midnight performance putting out tons of stock bottom end coyote f150s running 8s in the 1/4 mak8ng 1200whp without ever opening the engine for heads cams or pistons. all factory

Reminds me of Parrish's truck from way back. Seems to be a similar setup when he had the single turbo before going to twins except for the manual trans.

This “ work truck “ has also inspired me to to build my 03 Sierra, I got a turbo 408 stroker/t56 transmission.
Hopefully I get it all dialed in and get to drive it in a few months 🙏🏼

Man that tan square definitely broke some stuff at the big end of the track on that final race
That is just friction material coming off the clutch and very high temperature, One of the side effects of having a manual transmission in a high horsepower vehicle!

Man the little guy sneaks in again. Gotta make him mad that has more power than clutch needs a sponsor to build a clutch for him
The funny thing is…. I do have a clutch sponsor vengeance clutch by competition clutch. This clutch had 2.5 hrs on it. 10-12k street miles and 15 events on it. The whole time never under 850whp. It sucks it went out during the race. But I’ve put this clutch through hell and back and it never skipped a beat. I just put the same exact clutch right back in it and went 9.991 yesterday!!

Stock 10 bolt with caltrac bars and a Got Torque Differential big shaft kit. And I ain’t cuttin it no slack.
