"Talks about how useful something like Confusion could be" Story Time! When I was battling my friend in X and Y, he had like 3 mega-pokemon, and he had made it to the pokemon league, and he was way more powerful than me, with my 2 badges. Whenever I get a Pokémon game for Christmas, my cousin always gives me a baby Pokémon. This one was Rotom. Using confusion, I wiped out his entire team, and for the 1 Pokémon that couldn't be affected by confusion (which was Absul) None of his attacks damaged my Rotom. I can't stress this enough, especially if you are planning to try breeding for Egg Moves, building well-rounded teams (both competitively and non), or other such things. It helps a LOT ;w; 3) If stuck, do not be afraid to talk to everyone, and pay attention to what Rotom says: they generally have the scope on where to go next story wise (sometimes easy to forget where you are going if you set the game down for a bit thanks to life) 4) Grinding levels can get tedious sometimes, but given that Sun/Moon is generally a bit tougher than the other games in the series, I would recommend it greatly. A good way is a little multitasking while you fight hordes of creatures to buff up your team, like jamming to tunes, or talking to friends online in a chatroom or something. Just pay attention, because you might run into a really rare Pokemon species you want (such as that Salemence mentioned in the vid), or even a Shiny.. and that would suck to accidentally KO it! 5) *ALWAYS CARRY POKEBALLS* Make sure you ALWAYS have these in your bag, no matter what, for the same reason as in #4. It would be the absolute worst to run into a rare and/or Shiny Pokemon, just to be unable to capture it! D:
If you played the Demo and got all the gift items, you can start off with A LOT of money. I already have 90+ PokeBalls and a good amount of Potions too. Also, the Pokemon Refresh allows you to cure status problems, basically eliminating the need for status healing items. At the Trainer School, there's a person who gives the Quick Claw, which allows you to strike first occasionally. It's really good on the event Munchlax since Munchlax is slow. Also with Munchlax, he's probably one of the best early game Pokemon right now since he can tank hits very well with its high HP stat. Base 85 attack also hits very hard early game and you could potentially get a Snorlax really early if you can get its happiness high enough.
I started with Litten. I just bought a 3DS to get back into the newer games of Pokemon. I'm not disappointed. I haven't played since Ruby and Sapphire came out for GBA. I think the Refresh feature is adorable! I love it! I also really like the fact that they switched it up and you're not collecting badges. Instead, it's completing trials. It's different. I like it a lot so far.
I know what you mean about the "loving your pokemon for the buffs". When I was first introduced to the games, I really loved a Pyroar that I evoled, so I constantly played with it. While fighting the pokemon league, it held in a pinch several times in a row, and landed a bunvh of critical hits for moi.
+Harley365 I'm only 18 but I've played pokemon ever since I got my Gameboy advance. The only game I haven't liked so far is X & Y because they were too easy. Even mystery dungeons are amazing, pokemon is one of those few franchises that are good for any age :) More people should try them out and stop being shy about it, pokemon is amazing!
My advice is over level, and grind as much as you can because, my Pokemon have tanked moves that were super effective because they were over leveled for the area
i have a tip found on reddit and tested infront of the breeders house there is a gate with a hole in it walk into the hole of the gate and summon your taurous and hold b while spinning the control stick to run in circles super fast without stopping allowing you to hatch eggs quickly
I Chose Popplio, I LOVE THIS GAME IT'S SO MUCH DEEPER AND FOCUSES SO MUCH MORE ON TRAINER + POKEMON BONDS (Which I believe is what Pokemon is all about, Friendship, Loyalty, Understanding, Supporting), the story isn't half-baked and takes me back to the reason I loved Pokemon White and White 2 (Goddamnit Y, you were only about new features, there was no immersion.) And like gameranx said, take care of your Pokemon. Love and Bonds is the root of Pokemon, in my opinion, and it'll save your skin in the heat of battle. (MY ARCANINE TOUGHED OUT TWO CONSECUTIVE WOULD-BE KO HITS, DODGED 3 TIMES IN A ROW AT MY SHOUT AFTER THAT, AND KNOCKED OUT 2 POKEMON BY HIMSELF WHILE STILL ON 1 HP, AND ONE WAS A 1 HIT KO (Leafeon) ) And that's why love and care REALLY pays off. (I wish I had a Rainbow Bean directly afterwards, he totally deserves a hundred of those. HE'S A GOD, FORGET ARCEUS. >O< )
I don't know, I would get Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire instead. X/Y is pretty...meh. The story is not as good as B/W, and you can get pretty much the same experience in ORAS without the customization, but that comes in full effect in Sun and Moon. I say skip out on Y unless the 3DS already comes with it, because then, good for you! You just got two Pokemon games for one console!
apparently its also being added to Pokemon switch not sure if its a different game sort of like emerald while sun and moon are like ruby and sapphire or something
Note, the teacher in the training school is NOT EASY, make sure you come prepared with anwell rounded and well sized group, that knows alot of defensive moves like growl, or even curse (which has done well on my slowpoke). This trainer basically has a magnite with thunderbolt and anspecial attk buff, so watch out as it can do massive damage able to be spammed and one shot many pokemon. Next is a basic meowth whos got a little trick up its sleeve with bite, and can be a battle loser for you as that great move you've been ready to use buffing it with your defensive moves can be possibly countered with that flinch ability, allowing that meluth to scratch and tackle your pokemon finishing up key low health targets that have already taken the massive damage from magnite. If you must come stocked with a potion or two but if you must use more than that you are likely doing something wrong.
Tip: if you need to be at a certain time of day to do something, just save your game and change the internal clock in the 3ds options. *Edit: Do not do since there will be a 24 hour shut out from any time based events if you change your ds time.*
Well i have a few tips. I finished the main storyline of the game however it does not end there. I'm still going and there are many small quests When you finish the main storyline you go back at the start and there is a man nearby who gives you a card. He's from the international police and when you go to the motel you start up the ultra beast quests. Use the balls they provide (beast balls). You can get the type:null pokemon and porygon when you finish the main storyline. You can catch the tapu's as well but save before attempting to catch them. Use ultra balls or dusk balls. they are all fairy type as well as another type. There is also an eevee quest where you defeat eevee evolutions to get the eevee z crystal. You will have to travel to all different island to defeat them all. And yes it is also possible to get all eevee evolutions in the game :) That's all I can think of.
3ds is cool and all and i had one but i traded it in for the 2ds which plays the same games but no 3d, and it has a better feel and its regular price is 79.99 so u should consider picking one up
I finished the game with a Primarina, Salazzle, Vikavolt, Golisopod, Alolan Persian, and Lunala. Guys please bring a Grass Type or Fighting type by the time you get to the final parts of the game or else you'll have a bad time.
here is a tip, at the start of the game slowpoke is a encounter you encounter alot. if ya Catch it thinking you want it to evolve into slowking, you might have to think twice. you cant get the kings rock until post game. there are ways around it tho. if you have a friend he can get it and trade a pokemon holding it. if he is finished With the game that is. if you still want slowpoke on Your team, give it an everstone. unless it will evolve into slowbro at lv 37. you can optain an everstone after fighting captain llima the second time in his house on mele mele island
i'm in post league game now and honestly it's better than X and Y and i personally disliked almost everything they did with black and white so it's a great comeback very much worth it (obviously i'm a fanboy thought)
I stopped playing pokemon after I found gen 5 to be way too easy. I also didn't find there was much to do after finishing it. But now I'm thinking about coming back. Should I be?
higglyjuff The games is harder than XY/ORAS, it has the second best setting of the games, all the characters are charismatic, there are no HMs and the list goes on.
***** I only played the first pokemon white. Compared to Diamond Pearl and Platinum, it just felt a lot less fulfilling. I beat it all within a week easily, and this was back when I could only play a couple of hours a day. And then afterwards, there just wasn't anything to do, becasue I wasn't hooked up to wifi.
***** DPP was my favorite. So much to do, a decent length, a good difficulty, the Pokemon weren't too ridiculous and so on. I don't mind if it's easier, it's just when it's easy and then you have nothing to really do afterwards.
Trainer Red You meet every champion including red and blue also new kanto pokemon variants changing the type tons of Legendary pokemon more mythycal pokemon a lot more of everything
Is it just me or does Pokemon Pelogo, seem very Mystery Dungeon-ess? What I mean is, it feels very similar to a mystery dungeon game, minus the turning into a pokemon. The fact that you can have wild pokemon want to join your group, have pokemon going through dungeons to obtain items and having different islands that house your pokemon as well as offer benefits to them, makes this feature seem like a rudimentary Mystery Dungeon game. Maybe in the human dimension, the Mystery Dungeon/ rescue team aspect are nothing more than features of the poke pelago or similar features other regions might have.
LordDiscord when I was little I was obsessed with Pokemon mystery dungeon and it played a relatively large part in my childhood , I like your theory man!
Little tip: if you reach the third island (not the Aether paradise), go north of the town you just arrived in and talk to the man in red. He would actually change up your trainer's throwing animation and vs screen if you pass certain parts of the game. Best customizable option in the game.
11. If you are doing a nuzlocke choose kitten because that final teachers magnimite in the trainer school is a nightmare without a super effective move.
defeated pokemon moon in 4 days, TIP: research a pokemon's base stats and type advantages before you use them, helps very much. also this is my 4th year playing pokemon, and within last fall break to now I have defeated my first pokemon game, black, then X, then white 2, then X 3 more time 0_0, and pokemon moon now, trust me, I know, cause I still need it sometimes
Whenever I try and play pokemon go it won't let me :( ever since I got the game I have played, pokemon gba., pokemon heart gold, pokemon y and pokemon moon I would still consider myself a noob XD
I got Pokemon Sun and picked Popplio as my starter. Crazy thing is first time go I got a female Timid, which is very close to what I wanted (Modest female), and so far, my Popplio (Brionne at time of writing) has been DECIMATING my opponents!
Mirage Gaocariomon I have been restarting over 30 times now and they've all been mostly male :/ the times when I get a female they usually have a horrible nature.
What do you mean exactly? I haven't played Pokemon since Gold, Silver and Crystal, but my wife and I went out and bought a 3DS XL each and Pokemon Sun and Moon, So we are still kinda new to it all.
Ecap Hate all you want. Quite honestly if you hate someone you know nothing about because of their choice of starter, then I know some psychiatrists I can recommend you see. They're pretty good at their job.
diversify? well yeah. I make a team of all Dragon that each specialise in different move sets for variety of situations. Great way to get around those pesky fairies
They don't like it because it doesn't really have alot of moves, like litten they have ,ember, flame thrower, inferno, fire scratch, fire overdose, flames,
Simple and easy tip. If you ever get stuck on Pokemon info like wanting to know a Pokemon you haven't caught or scene it's typing use Bulpedia. I did it when wanting to know Golispods typing and what it's weak against when I first fought a team skull boss.
Tip: Catch some pokemon early on in the game to fill party slots. Even if you don't want to use them on your final team, they will gain experience through the EXP share and will level and come in handy if you are in a sticky situation. You can then replace these pokemon once the new team member(s) have been caught.
Here's a Pokémon tip: Make sure to have potions and revives! A lot of times you will be facing a lot of strong trainers that can and will hurt your Pokémon. The Pokémon Refresh can be used to make your Pokémon survive deadly moves, but when that happens, you want to heal them up to make them more happy that will than cause them to do more critical hits! That's my tip for new players!
+Arch Smith You do know that you can still play it in English, right? I'm getting mine from amazon.de (the German amazon) and the text on the box is in German, but it has all the regular languages. I played ORAS in English despite it being a German copy.
Every game I ever required, I would beat with just my starter. My Primarina was Lv 72 who wiped the floor on the Elite Four. *SPOILERS* I'll admit that Kukui was a challenge with that Decidueye at the Pokemon League but just like my previous pokemon adventures, I kept enough revives, Max revives, ethers, max potions, and full restores to keep my starter battling all the through the League to become champion. It's possible to playthrough and beat the game with only your starter.
Just something to know for anyone who is reading this, you can get a free rare candy at 5, 12, 20, 50, and 100 Pokebeans fed to your Pokemon, so you can get them a bit faster.
You know what's more painful? Getting it shipped and the game arriving November 24th, when I'm actually one of the lucky people and live in America (released on 18th)
I love moon I started with a litten and nick named it litty which is super cute. A tip is incounter a lot of trainers in the beggining of the game and every pokemon you meet catch it it will really help you
Watt Milkes its so hard to choose cause popplio (best basic starter) just turns light blue and very feminine, which i dont like, torracat (best 1st evo starter) is plagued by a boring first evo, and just a tacked on out of nowhere wrestling joke, like it goes from adult cat to anthropomorphic and Brawlic
Actually, you don't need to know anything to start playing any game. Just play and have fun. Learn from your own mistakes and get better by playing and not by watching videos.
I started with Rowlett and I really recommend getting a grubbing. It will help you through the game because of the moves it learns and very versatile to a lot of Pokemon. Just don't level it up no more than lv40 before u get to the last island.
If you live in America you should buy the Black Friday exclusive $99 New 3DS if you can. I would recommend getting this game for a New 3DS/ New 3DS XL as it doesn't run that well on the original 3DS.
Tip for good pokemon: Once Lily introduces you to the pokecentre you are able to go into festival plaza. Go through the tutorial and Start wonder trading, you will get a lot of level 1's to level like Gible and more! Or you may have something good for the GTS to get a Haunter to evolve into Gengar or a Kadabra for Alakazam!
Pro Tip: Don't waste your Masterball on the cover legendary. They actually have a very high catch rate since the gen 4 games.
Seacliff in fact use a Quick Ball it works perfectly
Seacliff tnx

This might be a bit advanced for beginners but: Natures. Do a little bit of research on what stats you want your Pokemon to have.

BIGGEST TIP OF ALL: Have fun
The Dark Slayer #⑥⑨ what's pokemon refresh and where can I get it?
Pokemon Refresh is a thing in the game that happens after a battle. It's like Sun and Moon's version of Pokemon Amie.
Never intrested in Pokemon. Still watches the video. Understands nothing. Loops the video.
Maybe you should try it out, the games have always been great regardless of your age
Jere Kreivilä I played Diamond as a kid played it today still good
Pay2Play
Goes to buy 3DS
Buys Pokemon Sun / Moon
Starts enjoying Pokemon
+Harley365 I'm only 18 but I've played pokemon ever since I got my Gameboy advance. The only game I haven't liked so far is X & Y because they were too easy. Even mystery dungeons are amazing, pokemon is one of those few franchises that are good for any age :) More people should try them out and stop being shy about it, pokemon is amazing!
My advice is over level, and grind as much as you can because, my Pokemon have tanked moves that were super effective because they were over leveled for the area
i have a tip found on reddit and tested infront of the breeders house there is a gate with a hole in it walk into the hole of the gate and summon your taurous and hold b while spinning the control stick to run in circles super fast without stopping allowing you to hatch eggs quickly
why are Nintendo releasing this 5 days later than in america. this next 4/3 days is going to kill me ;-;-;-;-;
Jambott me to
Jambott Same :'(
Jambott same 😭
does that also mean all european players miss the bonus that was shown here at number 4?
Jambott agreed ;-;
Omg thank you soo much I haven't played any Pokemon games yet this helped a lot I liked and subscribed thanks!!!!
I Chose Popplio, I LOVE THIS GAME IT'S SO MUCH DEEPER AND FOCUSES SO MUCH MORE ON TRAINER + POKEMON BONDS (Which I believe is what Pokemon is all about, Friendship, Loyalty, Understanding, Supporting), the story isn't half-baked and takes me back to the reason I loved Pokemon White and White 2 (Goddamnit Y, you were only about new features, there was no immersion.)
And like gameranx said, take care of your Pokemon.
haven't played since black/ white. gonna pick up a 3ds next week with Y and might get sun at some point next month.
You just got two Pokemon games for one console!
apparently its also being added to Pokemon switch not sure if its a different game sort of like emerald while sun and moon are like ruby and sapphire or something
imo ORAS are better
X and Y made it significantly easier to breed Pokemon though because of the Friend Safari.
DevilGames - oh no
Note, the teacher in the training school is NOT EASY, make sure you come prepared with anwell rounded and well sized group, that knows alot of defensive moves like growl, or even curse (which has done well on my slowpoke).
I wanna die, I keep watching Sun and Moon videos and I can't get the game yet......
Jarod Batman same hopefully I get mine tommorow lol
Let cry together :(
Brian The Lion ok 😢😭😭😭
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH PUSSSYYYYPUSSSYYYYPUSSSYYYYPUSSSYYYYPUSSSYYYYPUSSSYYYY
Jarod Batman get freeShop download home brew get cfw and FBI then QR code freeShop and download it and you can get any free Eshop game
Tip: if you need to be at a certain time of day to do something, just save your game and change the internal clock in the 3ds options. *Edit: Do not do since there will be a 24 hour shut out from any time based events if you change your ds time.*
Shiny Dragon
sweet
Tip: Do not do that because it will not allow any time-based events for the next 24 hours
oh rip
I USE MY BODY PILLOW POWERS TO JUST CHANGE TIME
Well i have a few tips. I finished the main storyline of the game however it does not end there. I'm still going and there are many small quests
When you finish the main storyline you go back at the start and there is a man nearby who gives you a card.
And yes it is also possible to get all eevee evolutions in the game :)
That's all I can think of.
Why am I watching this? I have 9 Pokemon games and I don't even have a 3DS.
lol
IronSlam Online My 3ds broke today and I have moon :'( noooo
same xdxdxdxd
3ds is cool and all and i had one but i traded it in for the 2ds which plays the same games but no 3d, and it has a better feel and its regular price is 79.99 so u should consider picking one up
I had a 3ds XL and traded it in for the 2ds as well! best decision ever!
I finished the game with a Primarina, Salazzle, Vikavolt, Golisopod, Alolan Persian, and Lunala.
Guys please bring a Grass Type or Fighting type by the time you get to the final parts of the game or else you'll have a bad time.
TerrifiedTam thx for the advice just got machamp :)
TerrifiedTam the first three were the same for me, but I had a crabdominable and a mudsdale which were both great.
Thanks for the advice! I got rowlett as a starter pokemon and I got a machoke in my team so ill make sure to keep them in my end game team
For the elite four an espeon is very helpful
Also got Pokemon Sun, will try a different approach in that game. Espeon does sound like a nice addition.
2:00 when you got really into the story and only got 8 pokemon but yet still beat the game in less than 3 days
here is a tip, at the start of the game slowpoke is a encounter you encounter alot. if ya Catch it thinking you want it to evolve into slowking, you might have to think twice. you cant get the kings rock until post game. there are ways around it tho. if you have a friend he can get it and trade a pokemon holding it. if he is finished With the game that is. if you still want slowpoke on Your team, give it an everstone. unless it will evolve into slowbro at lv 37. you can optain an everstone after fighting captain llima the second time in his house on mele mele island
Hey dude. It's called an EXP Share, try it
the affection also might add a sturdy type affect
I should buy a 3ds
Get it for Christmas like me
or black friday
just ordered mine black friday ^^
looks really cool! I want to get it but I'm broke atm hehe 😂
Kotuko Halliday pls link it.....pls.....
Emily Mason Games I feel your pain
Kotuko Halliday thank you.....you are god
i'm in post league game now and honestly it's better than X and Y and i personally disliked almost everything they did with black and white so it's a great comeback very much worth it (obviously i'm a fanboy thought)
Where to download the roms tho......? Most of the websites are scam
Also you can press L+R+START+SELECT (at the same time) to soft reset back to the title screen
it's just L+R+Start
no need for select
You can press Select or Start
I don't mind if it's easier, it's just when it's easy and then you have nothing to really do afterwards.
higglyjuff look into competitive pokemon playing in both vgc and smogon. that's what got me back into it.
apparently sun/moon is most challenging one so far
I stop playing pokemon after red and blue... What's new? 😅
You're cool
Trainer Red same concept, stupid looking Pokémon, you're not missing much
Trainer Red
You meet every champion including red and blue
also new kanto pokemon variants changing the type tons of Legendary pokemon more mythycal pokemon a lot more of everything
the number of stupid looking pokemon is minuscule to the number of good looking pokemon
genwunner alert
Trainer Red GEN WUNNER
Number 11: Primarina has a super effective move for each elite four member.
God I remember when I bought pokemon diamond and wasted my masterball on the seagull pokemon's evolution right before dialga.
I wasted my very first Masterball on a fucking Golbat, while I was climbing Mt. Coronet, so don't feel bad.
Good tip - Catch every pokemon you haven't got.
11. If you are doing a nuzlocke choose kitten because that final teachers magnimite in the trainer school is a nightmare without a super effective move.
Litten*
Dub Mic Step ikrrr
I chose rowlet and I was fine
Your nor kitten, that teacher in the scholl is a spamming nightmare, the paralyzes, random crits, and flinches never stop comming.
Dub Mic Step I chose popplio and I was fine
defeated pokemon moon in 4 days, TIP: research a pokemon's base stats and type advantages before you use them, helps very much. also this is my 4th year playing pokemon, and within last fall break to now I have defeated my first pokemon game, black, then X, then white 2, then X 3 more time 0_0, and pokemon moon now, trust me, I know, cause I still need it sometimes
Beginners aka people who started playing because of Pokemon go.
I'm a beginner but I hate Pokemon Go and I'm starting to play it because... I dunno xD
Maybe cuz I'm starting to get interested in Pokemon again
Whenever I try and play pokemon go it won't let me :( ever since I got the game I have played, pokemon gba., pokemon heart gold, pokemon y and pokemon moon I would still consider myself a noob XD
so true
I got Pokemon Sun and picked Popplio as my starter. Crazy thing is first time go I got a female Timid, which is very close to what I wanted (Modest female), and so far, my Popplio (Brionne at time of writing) has been DECIMATING my opponents!
Mirage Gaocariomon I have been restarting over 30 times now and they've all been mostly male :/ the times when I get a female they usually have a horrible nature.
Mirage Gaocariomon same thing for me! I told my bro I was gonna have to SR when I got it at midnight but literally didn't have to!
Mirage Gaocariomon your choice of Pokemon is lame and I hate you for it. #litten4lyfe
What do you mean exactly? I haven't played Pokemon since Gold, Silver and Crystal, but my wife and I went out and bought a 3DS XL each and Pokemon Sun and Moon, So we are still kinda new to it all.
Ecap
Hate all you want. Quite honestly if you hate someone you know nothing about because of their choice of starter, then I know some psychiatrists I can recommend you see. They're pretty good at their job.
Just caught a Shiny Alolan Meowth watching this.
diversify? well yeah. I make a team of all Dragon that each specialise in different move sets for variety of situations. Great way to get around those pesky fairies
that thumbnail is really cool
I've been playing Pokemon since gen 3, but this was still nice to watch. I can tell this will be helpful to newcomers of the series.
Beginner my ass I didn't know to use the QR codes...Unless you unlock it later in the game
Madara Uchiha You get it when you get Rotom Dex
Duncapunca Yeah, I noticed not too long ago after I posted the comment.
Look at game theories Pokemon go and it will change your life for ever
I really like them, and I chose poplio as my starter. I don't know why people don't like it, it's so cute!
A Boyce well i choosed popplio and never evolved
She holds evolite soo she is my beast
I like popplio but I didn’t really dig the evolution
They don't like it because it doesn't really have alot of moves, like litten they have ,ember, flame thrower, inferno, fire scratch, fire overdose, flames,
2:47 Yeah, the grass and ghost trials were pretty damn frustrating
Even if you don't want water pokemon, take the time to fish, theres lots of stuff to sell
Who's ready for ultra sun and ultra moon?
Simple and easy tip. If you ever get stuck on Pokemon info like wanting to know a Pokemon you haven't caught or scene it's typing use Bulpedia. I did it when wanting to know Golispods typing and what it's weak against when I first fought a team skull boss.
PRO TIP: Save ur master ball for as long as u can
U never know
Best tip is: SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE, SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE.
Tip: Catch some pokemon early on in the game to fill party slots. Even if you don't want to use them on your final team, they will gain experience through the EXP share and will level and come in handy if you are in a sticky situation. You can then replace these pokemon once the new team member(s) have been caught.
Can't wait for Pokémon Bad and Ass. The 3rd version will be Badass.
I use poke refresh with my Leafeon. and now. my Leafeon. Dodges. EVERYTHING!
I've beaten it once already and it has such a beautiful story, I'm playing through it again and I love it.
Actually that Munchlax is available until January 11th
Pokemon Sun and Moon is the best Pokemon game of all time, of all time.
Let me guess, you picked moon?
Slaster You are correct! 10 points to Hufflepuff!
Is moon better than sun?
Francisco Arcos I think Pokemon Moon is better, it have such a cool things on it.
Moon Door and would you recommend to me this game having in account that I played all the pokemon games, but I loved Gold and Silver the most?
Here's a Pokémon tip: Make sure to have potions and revives! A lot of times you will be facing a lot of strong trainers that can and will hurt your Pokémon. The Pokémon Refresh can be used to make your Pokémon survive deadly moves, but when that happens, you want to heal them up to make them more happy that will than cause them to do more critical hits! That's my tip for new players!
For Pokemon Moon, if a Pokemon has to evolve in the day, do you evolve it in daytime irl or in game?
if your 3ds clock is set to the same time, both, if not, daytime in game. but if its set to the same time, they should coincide.
Yeah, I found out it is in-game when my Pupper evolved into a Lycanroc
Day time in game for pokemon moon you have to wait till night irl
Any Europeans here? Only me? i have to wait a couple more days 'til this comes out :/
I am. And I feel you :'(
Vic i feel you to
Saw it in a Muller store for 49 EUR, sadly it's in German, last German game I played was Diamond.
wut? i was able to buy it and im in europe
*SPOILERS*
I'll admit that Kukui was a challenge with that Decidueye at the Pokemon League but just like my previous pokemon adventures, I kept enough revives, Max revives, ethers, max potions, and full restores to keep my starter battling all the through the League to become champion. It's possible to playthrough and beat the game with only your starter.
ALWAYS SAVE BEFORE CATCHING A LEGENDARY POKEMON (pro tip ;)
Just something to know for anyone who is reading this, you can get a free rare candy at 5, 12, 20, 50, and 100 Pokebeans fed to your Pokemon, so you can get them a bit faster.
I just started playing Moon yesterday. I am really enjoying it, and I think it is one of the best Pokémon games. I started with Litten.
3 more days until it gets released in europe..... fuck this lmao
Dandekku i feel you :(
Dandekku i feel you to
Dandekku I'm in Europe and I have it :/
These past two days alone have felt like two months lol.
You know what's more painful? Getting it shipped and the game arriving November 24th, when I'm actually one of the lucky people and live in America (released on 18th)
Do we even know the default names for the avatars? I heard it was Elio and Selene.
dead wrong. The male is called "Sun" and I'm guessing then the female is called "moon".
The demo names aren't the defaults. Ever since Gen III, the main characters have actual default names.
I love moon
I started with a litten and nick named it litty which is super cute.
A tip is incounter a lot of trainers in the beggining of the game and every pokemon you meet catch it it will really help you
Moon is my favorite pokemon game since Sapphire and Fire Red. I pick the best starter, Popplio!
Watt Milkes I'm stuck weather to get poplio or litten :(
~ P O P P L I O ~
Watt Milkes its so hard to choose cause popplio (best basic starter) just turns light blue and very feminine, which i dont like, torracat (best 1st evo starter) is plagued by a boring first evo, and just a tacked on out of nowhere wrestling joke, like it goes from adult cat to anthropomorphic and Brawlic
and then none of the final evos are specifically great, maybe rowlets, and thats why im going with rowlet
Chase Johnson I'm pretty sure you are just insecure.
Actually, you don't need to know anything to start playing any game. Just play and have fun. Learn from your own mistakes and get better by playing and not by watching videos.
tip about zygarde cells: keep track of the one you found, you'll go insane looking for that 100th cell otherwise
Omg it's fucking nintendogs... But with pokemon. D:
Percy Ross not even close
what
Superluigi 123 I just meant the whole feeding, brushing, cleaning, and petting part. XY and ORAS only had the feeding and petting features.
Percy Ross you can also get rifld of status conditions without n item.
I'm guilty of only using offensive moves
I have a bad habit of doing this to be honest. Unless I have a very specific move set in mind, my strategy is usually just "Rush B no balls"
Sherlock 4869 so am i
i only use offensive movesets and do fine competitively.
One tip is to explore everything because you can get really cool items from the people you meet in the Pokemon center.
Go to mele mele island and do island scan on Monday to get totodile!!!
Cian Bailey i got my cyndaquil that way
What day does the snorlax thing end? (In us and Canada)
Gamertastic 101 January 8th if I remember correctly. That was around when Torchic/Metang stopped being available in XY and ORAS.
+The Traitor Teyrn ok thanks greatly appreciated !
Gamertastic 101 Jan 11th
Always be open to new pokemon for your team
i got moon and i like it but omg can i walk 10 feet with out a cut scene lol
3:30 Is that a real pokemon?
VioletCompass Bojs shiny litten
athrows ohhh thanks
VioletCompass Bojs noob
Conrad Fincher ye maybe i am.. so what
VioletCompass Bojs probably a Pokémon go player
I started with Rowlett and I really recommend getting a grubbing. It will help you through the game because of the moves it learns and very versatile to a lot of Pokemon. Just don't level it up no more than lv40 before u get to the last island.
Rare candies are good? Nope they are made out of pokemon, thats why they were banned before gen 1 making them rare.
Jordan Naish but that's just a theory,
A Game Theory!!
Jordan Naish thanks for watchiiing
aaaaaaaaaand cut!
xD
Should I buy a preowned 3ds for this or?....
Infotor New one, some are horribly damaged like mine.
If you live in America you should buy the Black Friday exclusive $99 New 3DS if you can. I would recommend getting this game for a New 3DS/ New 3DS XL as it doesn't run that well on the original 3DS.
+Zack Egg but they don't sell new 3ds on its own unless it's a bundle and there pretty hard to find...
+Zack Egg in North America that is
+Lance Chafin that's a rip off I got a 3ds for free
Tip for good pokemon: Once Lily introduces you to the pokecentre you are able to go into festival plaza. Go through the tutorial and Start wonder trading, you will get a lot of level 1's to level like Gible and more! Or you may have something good for the GTS to get a Haunter to evolve into Gengar or a Kadabra for Alakazam!
Well i think i know what is the new pokemon it would be pokemon galaxy and pokemon universe.
Dragon Blaze maybe Pokemon Mind and Pokemon Soul
Dragon Blaze I just want a fire red remake not in 3d this 3d shit hurts my eyes
Doug Banister Fire Red is already a remake of Red and Blue, I doubt they'll make a remake of a remake. Altho I do want that remake also
JoshiMx 94 I know it is but your telling me you wouldn't want one in the ds?
except galaxies are part of universes, so it'd be extremely inequal...
