Nice reaction guys, Jinjer is just an amazing band. Tatiana (vocalist) gets a lot of attention and rightfully so, she is an amazing vocalist, her clean singing voice is so angelic, and her screams/growls are so demonic, she's just incredible. The rest of the band is just as incredible, Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar), and Vlad (drums) are all superior musicians, and they compliment each other perfectly. I've been a metal head for over 40 years, and I discovered Jinjer by mistake actually almost 3 years ago, and since then, they have become one of my all time favorite bands. They just finished a US tour, I saw them in Los Angeles in late December (my second time seeing them) and they were just pure fire. I also met them for the second time and I can tell you that they are some of the kindest, most humble and down to earth human beings around, who clearly appreciate and love their fans. They are from Ukraine and have been around since 2009. Ironically enough, non of the current members are original members of Jinjer, although this current line up has been together for quite a while now, Tati and Roman (guitarist) joined in 2009, Eugene (bass) in 2010, and Vlad (drums) in 2016. As far as a future Jinjer reaction, pick any song, they are all amazing, they literally don't have a bad song. Most people introduction to Jinjer is Pisces (live session) which could be a future reaction, but like I said, every song is fantastic. Jinjer is known for their live performances, so I would suggest Perennial live at Waken Open Air 2019 for a next reaction, you'll see them perform in a live setting, in front of a huge crowd, and yes they absolutely killed it. Anyhow enjoy your Jinjer journey, you won't be disappointed, and as always, stay Metal you two. 😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

Jinjer is one of the coolest bands on the planet, because besides the fact they are incredible musicians, they are also one of the most documented. Seriously, they were vlogging themselves way, way back in the early days when no one knew who they were. There are tons of videos of them going all the way back to the days when they were playing tiny clubs and surviving on canned tuna. Then we got to see them explode in popularity and we have the whole history on video.

    • @j.f.fisher5318
      @j.f.fisher5318 Год назад

It's cool seeing their early days with all of them and their kit in a midsize sedan, and Tati so sad she's got to tour with only a single bag for clothes heh. Puts their more recent Bus Invaders videos in perspective as they've moved up in the world a bit. :)
And there's a couple of channels that post a lot of old videos from them in their early days in the local music scene in the city in eastern Ukraine where they grew up. Gading Maartien and also Vidcerts Productions, including the band Tati had before Jinjer called Prophecy (Jinjer is her 8th band since she started singing seriously at 15) and a side project whose name is usually romanized Kodry that did latin music and jazz.

Just stumbled onto your channel because I saw Jinjer in the title. Liked and sub’d. Jinjer is from Ukraine, and consists of Tatiana on vocals, Vlad on drums, Eugene on bass, and Roman on guitar. I got to see them in Charlotte in Nov 21 and Dec 22, and believe me when i say that their live performances are better than their studio! Typically, reactors new to Jinjer start with Pisces live session, but since you started with Vortex, perhaps Perennial live at Wacken 2019 may be a good follow up. More Jinjer please and thank you! 🤘🍻

Good Reaction You Two! The whole band is incredible. They were supposed to be one of the opening bands for Slipknot around March of 2022, but the guys in the band were in Ukraine helping with the war effort against Russia and had to cancel, but they let them out sometime in the summer to be "Ambassadors" for Ukraine. It's great that they get to open for them now and get some good exposure to Metal fans. Pit of Conciousness Live in Kiev or the song Retrospection Official video or Live in Melbourne.

They are excellent live. Jinjer is from Ukraine. They have been around since 2008. I saw them in Nashville on Dec 11 last year. It was an amazing show. They are scheduled to play a couple of festivals in the US next summer. They just completed their headline US tour last month. For suggestions for listening or reactions I usually direct people to one of my RUclips Jinjer playlists because there are so many good songs that posting a list would make for a big post. Chances are good any specific suggestions will be on those playlists.

I have always been a closet metal lover...but this band brought me in hook.line and sinker! I grew up in the classic rock era, but have always loved the heavier music. I was lucky enough to see Jinjer on their recent US tour in Boston. They were amazing. My favorites, Pit of Consciousness, Wallflower, Perennial, I speak astronomy, Who is gonna be the one, On the Top,.....I can go on and on. Amazing musicians...!!! (As a side note, they had a band from Ukraine as one of the openers on their tour called "Space of Variations."....they also blew me away. So if you want to show some love and support to Ukrainian metal bands...give them a listen as well....(tibet, ultrabeat feat. alyona alyona, Someone Else....they just kill it!!) Some great music out of Ukraine....wishing them all peace and an end to this horrible war!

"Pisces" is the most popular song but not because its the best one but its just a good introduction.
For me personally "exposed as a liar" is the best but i understand that its not that popular..
"Home back" is a masterpiece and very relevant when it comes to the lyrics.
"Perennial" is very popular and an absolute masterpiece with beautiful lyrics and full display of her vocals.
"teacher teacher" is also incredibly good and popular.
Then there are a boatload of other songs that are really really good by them like wallflower, retrospetion, ape, sit stay roll over, and scissors.
    All very amazing songs.
This is my favorite band next to System of a down and Tool.

The tour with Slipknot they had to drop out of because of the invasion in Ukraine but they're since then on tour again as cultural ambassadors of Ukraine.
The typical cherry popper is usually Pisces but Vortex is a good one too, although musically a little more complex. I'll drop my usual recommendations, excluding this one, if you want to check out more.
    Official video suggestions:
    Teacher, Teacher
    I Speak Astronomy
    Cloud Factory
    Retrospection
    Wallflower
No Hoard Of Value (official lyric video)
    Home Back
    Mediator
    Sit Stay Roll Over
    Live suggestions:

Who Is Gonna Be The One live

Always great to see someone new discover Jinjer. They are a great band. I've been a fan since 2018 and seen them twice. Watch for their next US tour because they are fire on stage. Lots of great songs to continue with. For some early stuff Exposed As A Liar from Inhale Do Not Breathe was their first video, or the "Crowd Factory Live DVD Trailer" is a concert version. Outlander uploaded by "Failure .Color" is an early classic too, from their first full album Cloud Factory. Who Is Gonna Be The One live is a song originally from 2014's Cloud Factory but re-composed to work with the three musicians after their rhythm guitarist to a chance to act and left the band (the track can also be found as the Atlas recording). Pisces live session went viral and started their growth in popularity worldwide, with I Speak Astronomy officialbeinganother beautiful song and video from that album King Of Everything, and Sit Stay Roll Over being a hard core banger from that album too. Teacher Teacher official and Perennial live at Wacken are great songs from Micro, the first EP after their current lineup formed after Vlad the drummer and their only classically trained member (as a pianist; he also plays guitar well enough to do Gojira covers) joined the band. There are too many must hear tracks from the followup album Macro to list, but Home Back about their experiences when their hometown was caught in the 2014 war that set the stage for the current invasion is a must on every level. Vortex is from their most recent album Wallflowers (my favorite hands down), with Disclosure being another banger and frequent concert opener that also brings back their old rhythm guitarist as an actor portraying a cop. Subbed. Cheers!

Hey guys, the vocalist Tatiana is incredibly talented and she can replicate performances like this live, with an ability to instantly transition back and forth from beautiful clean singing with great tone and control into some of the best growl/scream harsh vocals I've heard, female or male. All the guys in the band are also incredible musicians and songwriters (Eugene-bass, Roman-guitar, Vlad-drums). BTW, they are from the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine. I just went to see them play live at the House of Blues in Boston at the end of November and they rocked the place (They were the headliner of 4 bands, with POD playing just before them. I don't think Slipknot was a part of the current tour)

Jinjer are awesome live. Unfortunately they just finished up their winter US Tour and are currently touring in Europe. I have seen them live 4 times and they never disappoint. Most have listed several great songs to react to, but if you are looking for a crushing song by them, Sit Stay Rollover is the one, it isn't a song, its a statement. Also, On the Top, Teacher Teacher, Ape, Outlander. You really cant go wrong with just about any Jinjer song from Cloud Factory, King of Everything, Micro, Macro, Wallflower. They are a great band with very skilled musicians and they are super nice people too. I've met them on more than one occasion and they are just super nice and relatable. Nice reaction! I just found your channel due to this reaction and my love for Jinjer. I have no clue what your musical tastes are to have an idea how to guide your journey, but I would offer some advice, stick with it, for it is a wonderful journey of some great people, musicians, music, and performances, if you liked Vortex, there is bound to be many songs you will enjoy.
If you are in this for the reactions, then going down the road of numbers viewed is the typical road for reactors, although most of them get their sub-goals by the 4th-5th video and move on, showing they really didn't enjoy the music but were out for the subs...and fair enough to that, but there is so much to be gained by going further...like the lack of competition(relatively speaking) of the other reactors on songs not as highly reacted to...so in search results by relevance/view and rating, you're most likely to come up more often than with just the typical 4 songs reacted to. IMHO Jinjer's best songs are hardly(again, relatively speaking) reacted to, that being 'Outlander', 'Cloud Factory', 'Ape', 'Just Another', and 'Beggars Dance'.
Then you have the niche tracks that the general Jinjer fan may or may not be a fan of, like the really heavy bangers of 'Scissors', 'Mediator', and 'No Hoard of Value'. Or the softer songs like 'Bad Water', 'Wall Flower', or 'Retrospection'.
There is greatness in the 'Pisces', 'I Speak Astronomy', 'Teacher Teacher', 'Judgement & Punishment', and 'Perennial', which are the most favored by the reaction channels... and there is some great music at the beginning and the ending of 'Who is going to be the One?' but the middle is repetitive, so you at least have those to look forward to. I would argue there are even more great songs to be heard beyond this list, but a fan of those will have sought them out having loved all the other songs from Jinjer they had come across, being an organic attraction.
Looking forward to where you go on this Jinjer journey, so I subbed so as to not miss it.

Here's a few fun facts about Jinjer. They're my favorite band and I've definitely been accused of being a super fan boy lol... So, first up. 1. Tatiana has never trained in vocals, she is self taught which is bonkers! Usually most vocalists train with or train from videos from Melissa Cross al the while Tatiana executes absolute perfection of technique. 2. The bands name "Jinjer" originates from the sound of chugging on guitar - not all dissimilar to the term "Djent". 3A. Vlad Ulasevich, the drummer has become one of the top metal drummers, up there with Mario Duplantier of Gojira... all the while never went to school for drums. He, just like Mario, just started going bang bang bang around the age of 13-14 and well, look at them now! Vlad's background however, is being a classically trained pianist. 3B. If you want your next song reaction, Vlad's favorite song is "Teacher, Teacher" which I argue to be the bands best composition. 4. None of the original members are still in the band. They do consider the final formation in 2010 when Tatiana and Roman joined the band. 5. In 2021 Metal Hammer placed "Pisces" at 74th in their list of Greatest Metal Songs of the 21st Century. 6. Roman Ibramkhalilov, their guitarist, now plays on a Fender 22 watt Supersonic. It is quite modified but it's safe to say, Roman is probably the only metal guitarist playing a Fender amp. Again, heavily modified but still pretty crazy to learn when he came from the iconic 5150. Guitar nerds will appreciate this. 7. Eugene Abdukhanov, their bassist, is an absolute beast. Maybe not a factoid, this is worth noting: While majority of bassists in this category use a pick, Eugene is old school finger pluckin'! 8. Tatiana is married to Alex Lopez, the original drummer for Suicide Silence and is the only Jinjer member who lives in the states, in LA. 10. During the early months of the Ukraine/Russia war Jinjer put together a campaign selling a choice of two shirts of which all profits would go to Ukranian citizens in need. They raised a little over $250,000. 11. They're the best band in Metal because, well, I said so 🤓🤗

Tatiana Shmayluk my favorite Female Lead singer. Tatiana has too many great songs to count. Already seen her in concert Nov. 1 @ the Ace Of Spades in Sacramento, most fun in a show, Jinjer headlined and killed it. 2 years in a row seen them perform at same place, better bands with them last time. Try looking up Lena Scissorhands (Elena Cataraga) from Infected Rain, suggested songs Orphan Soul, Longing (released 4 months ago) and Taphephobia.

It's the first time I seen your video but I bet the Jinjer army jumped on the train of telling you what you should listen to and I'm pretty sure they told you that you should start with Pisces like everybody else it's a live session also there is perennial live at wacken open air one of my favorites besides those two is pit of confusion live in Kiev

They are ukrainian and have special permission by the government as special ambassadors for their country to tour the world I would say check out their merchandising on napalm records to support the ukranians. They will be playing in my home town februari the first and I,m very excited to finally see them live . Next check out perrenial live at wacken open air 2019 to see how good they are live.

There's some Otep influence but there's a vast swath of Metal that was influenced by Otep. Tatiana's first band she sang with using growls called Prophecy sounds way more like Otep than ITM. Maria Brink has her own style as does the band.

@@j.f.fisher5318 I'm just not a fan of brink's vocals at all. Influenced by and attempting to imitate are different. In any case, some like em, I don't. No big
