why didn't you cut the the strips in the two inche blocks , and then add your fourth strip to the three strips an d youdon't have to sew the 2 in. blocks ?
Ginger Jihnson That would be one way to approach this quilt. I wanted the small squares to be more scrambled so I pieced them individually. If you make strip sets, you create a more repeated color placement. It was just a design choice. You are free to interpret the design to your liking - Peace
So glad to see someone else sews over perpendicular pins. I was actually taught that way but others tell me it’s a big nono. Never broke a needle.

if you cut 22 inch strips and sewed them together then you could cut the 2 1/2 blocks from them already sewn together.
