- Hello there agents, and welcome back to another division 2 video. So, I've been getting a ton of questions from many of you guys, asking how I've got so many maxed-out gear mods. And in today's video, I'm excited to share with you a great farming method that I recently found that is extremely efficient. And to be honest, most of the max mods that I've gotten just appear in my inventory randomly while completing end-game activities or opening up caches, but if you desire to obtain a max mod today, you could actually farm them quite easily using the method I'll be showing you. It should come as no surprise to most of you guys if I told you that countdown holds the title for being the best place to farm for almost any gear or item in the division 2. But what if I told you there was a faster and more efficient way to attain max mods. Yes! There is actually a more time-efficient way to farm for max mods in the division 2.

I earned my 6% crit chance mod by tackling the solo Tibal Basin on Legendary difficulty. It took a few attempts-I failed twice and got disconnected once. But on my fourth try, I managed to complete it from start to finish and scored some awesome loot, including the 6% crit chance mod 😎.
I've been running Summit on Legendary with "All" directives on while running with my Sniper Build solo. It definitely is challenging but it's really fun haha. Great video 👌
I appreciate these tips! I made a really basic skill set up using yours as a template. First time running summit on legendary got me a bighorn and much better mod rolls.
So one thing you can do to make things easier. Especially if you maybe don't have the greatest build yet is this. You basically go in and put it on your preferred difficulty, lets say challenging. Now whilst in the elevator you quickly matchmake for legendary summit. Now when you get out the game will show you that the difficulty is legendary. So now the enemies die as quick as if they were challenging but they still hit like they're legendary. The loot drops are also legendary. Just a very easy way to farm this without actually having to do legendary. And yes this is still possible, and no you won't get banned for this. This has been possible for as long as I can remember.
So you could take this further and set the difficulty to easy right?

Hello Sword. Hello Prajna. Another great guide video. I have 3 max out critical hit damage mods, 2 from random drops in open world and 1 from countdown. Trying to make builds that kills the NPCs faster. I did try Summit on Heroic difficulty a few times, it didn't go so well. Still not gonna touch Legendary. But Anyway, awesome video.
I have a similar build but use Rigger with Wave Form and yeah, you're right: it shreds. I have to keep retargeting the turret and drone to get the most out of it so yours might be less dangerous.
Prajna, this build is crazy! I just jumped into The Summit on the 87th Floor with your build on Legendary. I had two Rogue Agents, which normally means a ton of hard work. This time, my Level 6 drone and Cluster Mines took them out in a couple of minutes while I was eating popcorn at the back. Amazing!

You are the TRUTH RUTH !!!!!! I didn't have the backpack so I went with Percussive Maintenance Alps Summit Armament and copied everything else you have guns too and I had left summit earlier on floor 30 (boss floor) and BOOM I got GOD ROLLED DROPS 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I'm at SHD 903 and I usually play on hard but i do changeling everything. We love doing this on legendary in a group. One of us has a healer build and the rest of us take out the enemies. We get through it with no problem and quite quickly.

directives increase your chance at targeted loot drops so it is beneficial to have a few manageable directives on when your sole purpose is farming targeted loot.
They only affect XP. This is a rumor
Yeah its only affected xp for years. Wish it gave a lower percentage to targeted loot. Guess thats why we have CD lol
@@SwoRD_Gaming_ says it right in the game and video... "each active directive slightly increases the chance for a targeted loot drop alongside a normal loot drop." You're right it doesn't change the quality of the loot, that would be the misconception you are referring to. It does however give you a higher chance at actually getting a targeted loot item.

@RobBot34 also doesn't impact the chance of a loot drop in the first place (fixed by veterancy of mob).
Group scaling ups the # of mobs and their realtive veterancy resulting in more drops overall.
Each drop has a chance to be a double drop, the second will be targetted loot- this is the % increase affected by # of directives in addition to scaled xp for events (like a floor clear).
Old skool way 2 farm for mods, esp with directives and if you use the boss floors with a reset for volume.
Honestly CD and RNgesus is superior all around; esp for proficiency on top. To quote Stalin - "quantity has a quality all its own,"
Directives add to the% chance of an (targeted) loot drop (ie- when you have 2 drops vs no drops, 1 of which will be your targetted loot selected or gear mods in this case).
Solo has a crappy overall drop rate since drop rate is based on veterancy and groups scale both the # and proprtion of elites encountered in Summit resulting in more drops.
Bosses always drop, thus boss floor farm. Bad xp, good drops.

Ive actually been running this method for quite some time. I've gotten loads of maxed gear mods, except for the max PFE ones that i want. Somethings i have learn't from my experience is that directives do increase the drop rate frequency of targeted loot, doesnt make the stats better but more do drop (still not worth it, it can take over 2 hours just to farm 10 floors with all nine directives in solo). Also summit has those ascension challenges which gives more targeted loot.
one key difference for leg solo summit in comparison to leg solo strongholds is enemy frequency. In solo i tend to usually get 3-4 enemies that are spawned in max, unless its an unusual fire team, mini tank enemies or a boss floor, than the cap is also increased. Outside of this the base amount of enemies will only really increase based on player scaling. However if a leg stronghold does have your hear mods as targeted loot on id actually recommend that, ive gotten quite a few max gear mods from Roosevelt and tidal basin loot crates.
I am curious to how you deal with emp jammer floors as a pure damage skill build since those things are a real pain to deal with at times. Ive personal always ran a max pfe sweetdreams hybrid, this basically makes emps ineffective against me and because its a movement melee build its hard for explosives to hit you and you use vary little ammo unless you need to kill elites (means some directives dont affect you either). I sometimes also run a 6 skill tier ninjabike, brazos and palisade armor core build with offensive drones like yours (i personally use gila guard with the chill out for more pfe pritection and regen too). One final thing i will also point out is that having more players does also seem to increase the stats of the gear mods dropped, probably because the scalling of enemy amounts and vaterancy increases (so more elites and purples). Again this just from my experience since i only ever play legendary content on this game.

I switch to a full DPS build for EMP stuff then switch back to skills for all other stuff. I know I’m not the video author, but that’s how I do it. Hope that helps.
The summit 10s floor method is not working anymore for me, i don't have loot on the boss anymore after killing him once

Just got max last night open world, it's been while since.
I've been playing up to watch level 845 and have yet to have a maxed mod drop for me. Sometimes RNG sucks. I'll have to try your method.
Finally at Level 927 i got the memento bp to drop 😊
So you could put countdown on heroic to give really good drops too? Or is that better on challenging? I'm a new player with only a striker build
Countdown is great to farm gear guns and mods to do on Heroic, but you and every player would need to play smarter. Normally with randoms it's always usually Challenging, but you do get decent gear on that difficulty.
The difference between loot on heroic isn't worth the headache. Just run it on challenging.

What settings do you have to have all the damages numbers pop up like that?
It's called floating under UI and scrolling combat text.
This how i farm summit legendary floor 80, skill damage build
Empress mask, gloves, knees
Hana u force multiplier bag
Belstone everyday carrier chest for the 75% chance not to use medkit
Waveform holster
Survivalist for the 25% chance not to use medkit so i get 100% chance not to use medkit
All core atts skill tier
All atts skill damage skill haste
Can also use a glass cannon chest for extra damage to if wanted as long as it has skill tier core and skill damage and haste as attributes
Also added all mods are skill haste mods
I solo tha summit and it took me straight to floor 100
My maxed mods all in dz or conflict caches...This is waste of time farm mods in pve ....My opinion ...But best way to farm anything is countdown on all pve activity ....DZ and Conflict have a great loot but is different on pve content ...GG great video.

Most people run skill builds and farm legendary floors on Summit.
floor 90 and run heartbreaker or I'd run my striker / ninjabike shield build with some explosion resistance because that's mostly what gets you killed.
What talents on chest and backpack?
Glass cannon for vest, tech support for backpack.
Can I get the build? What are the gear pieces beside the Waveform?
3 piece Empress. 1 wyvern, and 1 piece belstone armory.

Directives increase the chances of Target Loot to drop.
This way you get even more Mods from any drop, and not just Bosses.
Directives only affect XP

It increases the quantity of Target Loot that drops.
That's was stated by the Devs some time after WoNY released, and it was tested A LOT in that period.
If I remember correctly what was said in that time, each directive gives 20% chance to have a target loot drop with any drop, which means that with 4 (or maybe 5) directives you ALWAYS get a target loot drop anytime that there's a drop.
Without directives added, you'll get "some" drops without a Target loot drop with it.

I will never use the waveform as its too inconsistent. I want a steady consistent damage output. I also run Force Multiplier as my backpack since I like to contribute to target damage. I use Kinetic momentum (30% weapon damage/15% skill repair) over glass cannon since both skill are up for 5 minutes at a time and can dish out damage in that time. I run 3 piece empress, two piece Hana-U and one piece Wyvern I rather have my skill efficiency which helps out alot. for weapons I run Capacitor as primary and an AR with future perfect with an AR for the overcharge or take the Mechanical Animal for the future perfection. The problem with tech support is the mere fact that your skill has to kill a target in order for it to proc. once its up and running it needs to consistently kill targets to keep the buff going and being that its legendary that may not be the case. Running Force Multiplier will increase the skill damage while youre shooting at your target by 30% as to Tech support's 25%. You can also go for the Hermano backpack to reduce skill CD so that when the skill expires, you can instantly reuse skill. (Perfect Overclock). But my two go-to talents is Force Multiplier for backpack and Kinetic Momentum for chest. again, because waveform is too inconsistent and only applies to one skill vs two on a rotation so I wont use it. Skill efficiency will enhance my skills.

Yesterday i got My PFE Max .btw the harderst Mod for Me that i can't find yet is Armor On kill :(
They are a waste of gear mods, use a Palisades Steelwork piece or Gunner if you need armour on kill.
Even a full PFE mod?

how does your character's face not look like a horror show? is that a mod? haha
4:55 that's not completely true, it also increases drop chance of your target loot, so besides the bosses that always drop target loot, the other mobs have a higher chance of dropping your target loot as well.. So if it doesn't impact your speed for (almost ) clearing the floor, go for these directives that don't bother you.

It's all RNG really. I also run legendary summit every week with a turret and drone build too, mostly to try to get the bighorn. All I get is trash
Get to a 10th floor and repeatedly kill the boss (leave at least 1 other enemy alive so the floor isn’t finished) and fast travel back to the lobby. Then go back up, and the floor and the bosses loot will have reset. I did loads of legendary strongholds and did floors 50-100 legendary summit with no bighorn drop, so I gave up and just did 1-9 on normal and then repeated the boss on 10 using the strategy above
@@the-jar I do this every week. I repeat floor 1 5 times then go to floor 10 to farm. All on legendary. I rarely get a max rolled AF, the rest is trash really. My RNG is horrible
@@ferrenberg you can’t get it from floor 1 or any floor in summit that a isn’t a multiple of 10 (10, 20, 30, 40, etc.) and it can only drop from the named bosses of one of these floors, or at floor 100, the hunters at the end. It’s a 5 percent drop chance flat from a boss on any of these floors, and targeted loot and directives do not make a difference. So it should take on average 20 boss kills in legendary summit to get it. It took me maybe 7 or 8 tries when I was repeating floor 10, but as I said I had already done the top 50 floors and countless legendary missions

@@ferrenberg i think i got bighorn from 10th floor my 5th run while doing the strat, it does help to have People to run with all targeting AR and just make someone drop it for you if they get it and already have one

Clearly you have never done Legendary Summit. Run n' Gun equals fast death. When you beat it , including floor 100, on Legendary with 7 directives, as I have done, then we will chat.
