On the hotshot build, vigilance is great because when you have bonus armor from 4 hotshot the enemies won't disable your vigilance. They need to hit your white armor to disable vigilance. That's an easy 25% damage buff

Try using a Lexington (Killer, Strained or Optimist), Ceska/ Grupo bag and chest (1 of each set) glass cannon or Obliterate on the chest, vigilance or unstoppable force for the back pack. If you are good with a chameleon use that instead and run 45 percent crit chance and the rest into Crit Damage (only run this crit chance with a Chameleon not any other weapon. Makes the sub par Strega look like a bb gun

Seeing this might just be the push I need to get into the Striker gear set. I've been loyal to Hunters Fury for so long now. I run the Liquid Engineer with the Coyote's Mask. I'm also hugely partial to St. Elmo. I've been running with Dark Winter as my main because of the crazy crit stats. I forget the exact seasonal talents (close and midrange, base mag size halved but reload and fire are ~x2 close) I have 49% (60% when talents active) to do 170% crit damage. Headshots are +70%. I might swap a few crit dmg mods to get headshots ~+100%. Also, this might sound crazy. But, I've never used the shield. I'm run and gun with healing drone and restorer hive.

I see you are increasing the expertise of your gear. A lot of people say it's not worth it. Do you find it helps? I would guess if you can increase each piece to 20 it must have some benefit?

I use Palisade/Obliterate chest, Memento, 4 piece Striker. All blue cores. Chameleon primary, Rock N Roll secondary. Gunner spec. Tanky as hell and tons of damage.
