The store rated it for being a 2-3 years old corporate use laptop and in A- condition. I have to wait for it to arrive in the mail to see how it is initially. And of course it´ll take months to know how the longevity holds up.

That is pretty expensive. $596CAD. The i7 version is nice, but you're only getting so much more in terms of performance. Does it come with a dedicated NVIDIA GPU? How much RAM and what type of SSD? Take a look for some T480, T480s, or T580's. See what the prices are like. At least with those you get the benefit of a 4 core, 8 thread i5 and i7 CPU. Let me know what you find!

If you get a T580 with an 8th gen i5 or i7 CPU, you get the benefit of a 4 core 8 thread CPU, whereas the T570 will be 6th and 7th gen 2 core 4 thread CPU's.

If you have the budget for the T580, go for that. You will benefit longer term with the 4 core 8 thread 8th gen CPU (i5 & i7) rather than the 2 core 4 thread 6 or 7th gen CPU in the T560. T580 8th gen will support Windows 11 without special install as well if you want to use that. Unless the T560 is a smoking deal, go for the T580.
Well, they will all have similar CPU options but each one offers something different. I would google search "ThinkPad T480 psref" and so on for T480s, T580. Then you can decide which one might be the best fit.
The I/O ports are different and motherboard design, though similar, is different as well. It would take some modifications to make it fit I would imagine.

Yep, you could do 1080p with Davinci Resolve, for example. Higher resolution, I would expect decreased performance without a dedicated GPU. Rendering times will be slower, but it's possible if it's what fits your budget.

I got this laptop for free. And man, why this laptop have SIM card slot? I know that this is business laptop, but still. Also fuck Microsoft for auto installing Win11. Now I need to put bigger RAM.
I personally appreciate extra options and the SIM card slot would generally be for connecting online outside of an office or home, like a cel phone. As for Windows 11, that does sound like a nuisance but with at least 8GB RAM and an SSD it should run well. I empathize that rolling back to Windows 10 is an annoyance if you didn't want the update.

I use it for xcloud and GeForce experience. i have yet to try a external gpu but that is next on my list.

Yep, you can search for a backlit keyboard on eBay or elsewhere. You will have to swap it out with your current keyboard.
