Yes, I too love the setlist, however I'm very curious how he received permission from George Harrison's estate, let alone the others! lol Hope you don't get hit with a copyright strike.
Kip is the type of guy who is successful because of his work ethic, brains and good nature. I guarantee he see the exact same things in Gus which is why they’re both legends!
Your videos are the best man. Please never stop making these videos. I am living vicariously through you as I sit here in my house in 21 degree weather in RI lol. Safe travels brother.
You're the man for posting this on a Friday, best way to get off work. Also so much respect for the music selections in all of your vids. Keep living it for all us boring folk!
Most of the music you play was what I listened to as a teenager and it was all new music back then. I was between 13 to 17 years old at the same time the music was new. Now I am 69.
Tell Kip he should be regular on your journeys. What a great friend! Perfect person to have on trip Like that with his knowledge of boating. Be safe y'all!
I just want to say thank you, your content is some of the most entertaining and your attitude is always so uplifting, the feeling I get from watching what you do is just extremely pleasing and calming, I have great joy from just sitting in the dark in my office and watching these late at night
Kip is my favorite! That man has a heart of gold and works his ass off! Not discrediting you at all, gus, your skills are absolutely amazing! you're a lucky man to have such a good crew buddy! Be safe and enjoy the Seas
From polishing the horn to varnishing the wood to rubbing the rod Kip, Jack of all trades, seriously your blessed in the content of your friends Gus, great upload.
Is it weird that I took the day off work, up in SW Michigan, cooked myself up a mean breakfast spread, sent the wife into her studio to paint and hunkered down on the couch with my two pups to watch the new video from Gus? I’ve been waiting patiently to get my fix of Gus and Kip! Love this kid….seems like such a good soul! The work he puts into releasing these top notch videos is spectacular!! Keep it up, Gus! You’re killin’ it! Cheers and Happy New Year everyone!! 🍻
When you get to your final destination kip needs to take a vacation no boat maintenance just a different place and the ability to explore and recharge the batteries. He's the coolest boss to take a few months to cruise your boat down to Florida. Those guys are priceless friends that have your back and best interest in mind folks like him are few and far between thanks kip for taking care of our young captain Gus hes someone who has goals and is definitely a hard worker with a good mentor he's going places that most could only dream about. Keep living the dream and enjoy the rest of your vacation plans.
Gus, my young kids (12&13) watch your videos. They aspire to your kind of life and knowledge. Both 1:00:03 already know how to service a car and have yacht qualifications as we also sail a 32' sailboat. However, kids being kids and not understanding the price of fuel in Europe, aspire to some motorboat with BIG dirty engines! Thanks for your amazing content x
Perfect timing..a snowy morning at home in the Western burbs of Chicago. Nice weather and following seas with the wind at your back and Kip polishing Stainless. A bad day on the water beats a great day at work any day, and this looked like a good few days! lost a very good friend named Gus a couple years ago. It's refreshing to see the name has a tenency to apply to witty, intelligent sorts. You're in good company Gus! Keep it up young man and stay humble. memba, none of us deserve it, but all of have the right to earn "it" (tune selection says a lot! 👍😎)
I feel as I'm on the cruise with you Gus. Serenity is looking better every day thanks to you and the crew. Seeing Kip polishing the chrome reminds me of myself and my '67 Vette. Great guy and a real asset to the boat.
Thank you so much for these amazing videos .... we've travelled the "ditch" .... started in 1985, but NEVER EVER had any idea what the landscape and surrounding areas looked like... thanks to your drone sequences, now we know. Back in the day, River Forest Manor and Marina was the go to overnight tie up with an amazing restaurant in the magnificent antibellum house. Our last trip down was 2014... we owned several power boats... our 60 foot wood Chris Craft 1964 Constellation was the most comfortable, and with 871 it could move well and efficiently. The Broward is in great shape, and you've brought it back to life --- it was dying when you purchased it. (Hint: set up a fresh water in let flush on the heat exchanger "box'" so you can flush out the salt after each run.
Gus…..one of your best videos so far! You are a breath of fresh air, always smiling happily! You have two amazing friends in Kip and Cam and that combination just makes it all fabulous! Keep up the great job you are doing and keep the pointy end going forward! ❤🎉. Kim in Fort Pierce, FL
You guys are awesome!! I just love your drone shots whereby you get to see the whole perspective of this beautiful vessel! Keep up the great videography. It's amazing how she cuts through the water so nice, smooth as silk, even while doing 2K rpm/17 knots!
Sitting in Jay, Maine right now learning how to keep my new house warm. Wish I was on a yacht heading south too! Love your videos man and from a fellow mechanic I love what you do and watching the satisfaction you get from keeping your home and ride in tip top shape!
Terrific drone footage. The Pungo River canal is rural! You had a wonderful semi-custom yacht called a Dettling behind you at Conjock Marina. Made in Maryland for several years, clever design. Thanks for a great video, Gus. Your shipmates are great, kudos to Kit for all the varnishing and polishing metal.
Great video, Gus. I live in South Carolina, so I especially enjoy when you are traveling through the southeastern coastal waters of the US. The three of you make a very good crew. Kip seems happiest when he's working. Cam is a good captain and enjoys every day. Safe travels, Captain Gus. 😊
I'm just like Kip I would be polishing and and running sealer on the wood also. I find small jobs like that are relaxing and rewarding. Those horns really cleaned up super nice ! Good work Kip !
Happy New Year from the South of France guys, the Mediterranean! The boat is really becoming more and more beautiful, the woodwork and the gleaming chrome, it's great. Thank you for sharing this journey with us and see you soon.
your my kinda guy mr. kip... never idle hands...always busy... keep these young ins in there place bud... make sure you stop and enjoy it alittle for me landlocked in oklahoma...
Congrats from Germany, Gus, you have turned the Broward into a veritable asset! As a North Sea, English Channel and Baltic sailor I don’t usually follow YT powerboat channels but make an exception for yours. Great cruising footage and quite a bit of interesting boat repair and maintenance work thrown in for good measure. Never dull! Thanks for sharing.
So fun to watch your epic trips! Pulling into Coinjock (21:49), you caught a shot of 1937 Motorsailer Tradewinds, which was restored up in Maine several years ago. Stunning yacht. And it’s got Detroits!
love that coinjack marena guy just standing there as that yacht hits the pier, great job! Could have avoided it just by putting your hand out but gotta teach those boat captains sometime
Love this channel. Love the enthusiasm for the boat and the water. Love the boat, so fun to watch all the hard work put into the boat, and the maintenance. Very admirable to see how well you've repaired everything, fixed it up. That's such hard work. Love it. So fun to watch. Love it!
I am exceedingly thrilled for you. Actually living your life's dream, and sharing it with enthusiasm, allows me and many others to live our life's dream vicariously. Don't stop. There will be moment when, I predict, you will top 1 Million subscribers.
You’re doing a awesome job Gus. Love the journey you are on. Thanks for sharing with us. Your love for this boating stuff is contagious. Don’t change a thing my friend. 👍🇺🇸
28:16 earlier in the video you show the alternator on the stbd side and the bundle of wires is behind the alt bracket. It’s in front on the port side causing the rubbing on the chafe gear.
Yeah somebody screwed up way back when when they changed that alternator. Should be easy enough to fix… with a few busted knuckles, broken bolts, a trip to the hardware store, and a bunch of swear words.😅
Sincerity is truly one beautiful Lady. Whether she is underway or dockside no one can say she is not one alluring Empress. Be it a Hatteras, Broward or any older gal, you have that magical fortitude to bring back their youth.
Another awesome video Gus, your shipmates are great folks and the videos are interesting and informative. Like taking the cruise ourselves and looking at all the things I would look at. Even the music is spot on. Enjoy dude, you're living it right!
Kip casually reports all the mechanical problems he noticed in seconds whilst tending to the cosmetic touches of the boat as not to overstep the Caption's responsibilities. Kip is a GOAT. I appreciate you took his warnings to head and quickly looked at everything he reported as you knew it was serious.
Kip has been doing an awesome job at the maintenance and fine detailing and polishing of Serenity making her look like a million bucks.. I haven't heard that George Harrison song near the end of the video in ages, so thanks for that, great tune..❤
I've been looking forward to this episode. You're taking me back 60+ years when my Sea Explorer ship rowed from Norfolk to Elizabeth City every Spring.
This time while watching the video I paused it whenever you mentioned a place I would go on google maps and follow your route. I found it much more fun 🍻 Happy new year
There are only a few channels where I bummed out when the video gets to the top end. Kip is a special guy. Just jumps right in tasks that need to be done. Thanks for letting us old wannabes tag along your adventures.
Great clip! I so enjoy your travels and live landlocked at 72, as this life is far behiend me; now I have to enjoy my boating days on Lake Michigan and Charleston, SC vicariously through you folks...Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!! Kip was having too much fun pollishing that chrome on the Trumpets, I think! But we all know that this rarely enjoyed task is never enjoyed as much as it was by Kip :0... :)
Great job Kip polishing your horns! 😂. Sorry. Couldn’t resist. Kips the guy everyone wants to have aboard! Great episode. The Coinjock Prime Rib king cut - perfect ending to a great day.
Kip just cant stop working, what an absolute gentleman and legend. Another great episode, so awesome to see the channel grow, and to be able to keep up with your adventures! Keep being who you are and what you're doing. ❤
As a retired US Navy sailor I love your show. You've done an amazing job and your show is great. I do have to say my OCD is triggered by not seeing you move that alternator cable behind the bracket like it is on your other motor. If a belt gives that cable is at risk. Anyway, love all you've done.
I believe that he thought of that but couldn't see how to do it in a reasonable amount of time, if it is doable at all. The bracket may be welded on. And disconnecting the wires might be a big deal too. I would have run some electrical tape around it and tie it back to the bracket so it didn't flop around.
Thank you all for watching and for all of the awesome comments! EP4 Coming in 1 week (1/17/25)

Dude you are destroying your monetization with using popular music like Coldplay…. Love your videos but you are setting money on fire for no reason 😬
So you pumped all the water out of the boat and raise it off the ocean floor ?
Good To See you Gus !!!!
Thanks for sharing G!
love the viva la vida in the start
No clickbait, no BS, just great videos that I look forward to every time. Never change your format dude, this is how it should be done ✅
Appreciate you!
Agreed! When is episode 4??
Kip is a legend, if we all had a Kip it would be a better place. He polishes a mean horn too.
I was going to post something very similar but your post nailed it. Kip is THE MAN!
We all know guys like him. Guys that just like to stay busy all the time and I respect the crap out of that. Just chipping away day in and day out.
Is kip a friend or hired hand?
This could be a great documentary for PBS
Kip is old school: When you wake up, get up and when you get up, do something!
Man, Kip is the GOAT. Dude's just helping maintain everything, freaking legend!
Thats what crew should do !
Man really know how to polish a rod eh?

Can we appreciate his amazing music taste and choices for this video
Yes, I too love the setlist, however I'm very curious how he received permission from George Harrison's estate, let alone the others! lol Hope you don't get hit with a copyright strike.
@@NancyRautmann My same thoughts, quick way to demonetize
....... and his crew !
@@NancyRautmann You can use pretty much any music you want as long as you pay the licensing fee $$$.
I don't mind a bit of Jaws Harrison.
Kip just keeps going and going and going! I must say hes like the YACHT dad everyone desires of!

Yeah, easy enough fix, run those wires BEHIND that bracket AWAY from the belts! 😮
Yeah somebody screwed up way back when when they changed that alternator.
