Looks good but you should try to do as I do. Cook mushroom in a DRY pan and let them steam out their water for 3-5 min depending on how thick you slice them. Then add butter and what you want, and you will end up with great tasting non soggy and very flavorful. I do add a little salt while in the dry pan, helps draw out the water a bit faster. Enjoy!

@@kingstonxenachante2874 I recommend you do deeper research on animal vs oil fats. Olive is fine but it's not the problem between unsaturated, saturated, etc. The problem is most available vegetable oils, are worse for our health compared to animal fats we have been using for centuries before the late 1900s commercial craze to sell us vegetable oils and the lab-made butter replacements.

You don't clean mushroom, because that will imply washing them with water.. but mushrooms are full of water so. You just dry fry them then add oil and then salt and pepper.

Butter should be used rather than oil. Mushrooms soak up any fat you put them in. Oils, even olive oil, are not good for mushrooms either in taste or texture. You can get away with adding a bit of cream but only after the initial cooking.

That pan seems awfully crowded… might be why they’re ending up soggy? Too much steaming and less direct heat for the cooking :)

4 tablespoons of oil for barely over a cup of mushrooms. Great recipe 🤦🏻‍♂️

That's it? No butter? No coconut milk, no pinch of pepper. It could be a lot tastier!
