Very clean with the rear sight on the Staccato. Had my Glock Milled for a DPP for this exact reason (looks like shit), and use the Leupold factory rear sight that fits in the dovetail with a Dawson front sight. Love it! Great Video.
I ended up going with a holosun 509t on mine. Not as clean as the DPP since it uses the thick ass plate, but I really like it. It still barely cowitnesses and the window is huge. The biggest plus is the enclosed emitter. It makes me never want to go back to an open emitter again and I own like 5 HS 507ks. Plus I really like the reticle choices with the circle and the dot.
FYI, I have the DPP on both my C2 & P; the battery on the C2 was installed on 8/2021 & on the P 1/2022; both are still working. However, I turn them on when I go to the range and off when I get back. Like you, they are two of my favorite pistols but as of yet neither is used for carry or home defense that would off course shorten the life.
It’s okay, I’d buy it on sale if it came up. Everything about it works as advertised. DPP and Holosun are kinda on the same page for me, Trijicons are still a step up

I spy a Sig sear and safety lever on the bench. Good man 😁
That's what I run on my Staccato and I really like it. I like the clearness of the glass over the rmr. Great video though

Helpful vid! Thanks!
This video is great
wish ddp make green dot now
Great video, I was curious how it mounted with the rear sight.
my rear sights not well centered.not happy
How did the Dawson rear sight line up with the front? Was it too high?
Lines up perfectly
Does the DPP attach right to the CS without any plate ?
It should. Staccatos are cut for DPP
@@ModernRifleman Do I need the kit ? or does the DPP come with the necessary hardware ?
What are your thoughts on the delta now that you've had it a few months? Deciding this one or the holosun for my XC

@@ModernRifleman A step up? If you say so. Have to remove sight for battery, no shake awake, known to fail in rain. No thank you!
Do all the Holosun optics need mounting plates for the Staccato CS ?
@@michaell397lol
I am curious if you still have the DPP on your Staccato? I have one on my Staccato C2 and after 6 months it just quit holding zero.
I’m kind of torn on red dot sights. Not sure how much they affect printing and comfort in appendix carry.
People are too distracted playing in their phone to notice you have a concealed carry. With the plate system, they should print the same
@@ModernRifleman I’ll give it a shot this fall.
Have a Romeo1 on my CC, makes no difference in printing
@@zachwands7663 Thanks for the information!!
Would you still recommend the DPP after using it?
Yes. Used it since this video and in USPSA. it’s a pretty great optic for what that’s worth
@@ModernRifleman thanks
Did you have a problem getting two main dpp screws in?
I didn’t. Fits just like it should
@@ModernRifleman mine don’t seem to go in at all…just turning 😂😂😂
Is the rear sight adjustable left and right ?
I don’t think so but don’t quote me on that, it just might be
@@ModernRifleman Midway usa has a sight that fits and is fully adjustable.
KnifeMaker
don't have any ammo ???
No I’m poor ☹️
You took a downgrade. Plus, you couldn’t find a black DPP?!
I needed up returning it and getting a black DPP.
@@ModernRifleman gotcha. Maybe I missed but why did you decide not to use the RSO on it?
@@weaponeer8582 too much money, not enough optics I guess. I don’t know why I do half the stuff I do
@@ModernRifleman lol. That’s cool. I was thinking of getting a DPP for my P320 X-Compact. Hope you enjoy it.
@@weaponeer8582 so far it’s been great! I like the DPP
