BRN-4 costs $1k and that's without a hand guard
Are you still running the giessele trigger??
Respectfully, don’t advertise 3 round groups as “sub moa”. It’s disingenuous in a terrible way
hows this compare to the tikka tac a1?
@@davidmahan2338 both are great, but I like this one better
Damn, that's a genuine smile in the end
I’m new to all this but how do you cut and weld?
Is it full Auto?
Sir, you helped me out so much. Do you know the torque specs for the screws on the 308 spear? Thanks in advance
Is this the same for the 308 spear?
Dude wth is mine NOT clearing the barrel but. I can get the front in, but clearly see the opposite side of the rail will not clear the battler nut
FWIW...I recently picked up a BRN-4 10.4 heavy profile. My receiver was like this one....very clean/smooth. I have about 500 rds through it so far, all suppressed (Huxwrx Flow). I've used PMC Bronze, Wolf steel case, and Federal TRU with zero issues. My lower has an H3 buffer and ejection was around 4 o'clock with PMC/Wolf and about 2:30-3 o'clock with the TRU. Overall, I'm really liking mine though I have not inspected the internals yet for any abnormal wear.
Where the hell?!??!!!??!
The Radian Talon safety switch is by far the best safety switch I've ever owned. If you haven't used a Radian Talon before, I would highly recommend you buy one. You won't regret it.
$20 for these is highway robbery smh
Yea this made no sense and I can’t see shit
Have one with the round slip ring.....p in th a. Looked dope though.
Absolutely great how to video. Any way to clean the piston and gas switch without removing the hand guard?
My P229 is a worthless piece of garbage. It went from NIB to DEAD in no time. Not a single round was fired out of it, yet it decided to take a dirt nap. Don't buy
Why not buy the Argos? They are built even better than the HK.
where did you learn to mark the lower? i want to do mine
I just did this to mine too! Any update on the reliability ? If the bolt is released will it cause a round to slam fire at all ? Or was this more so a thing SIG did to make it so you have to get triggers that are specific for the MCX ?
The slamfire was a one time thing and it never happened to anyone else. Eventually sig did a recall to add that latch to prevent it from every happening.
@@Lotmoshr right but this video he removes that said latch and makes the full carrier compatible with standard AR15 triggers
Damn thats some bullpup kickin
I’m surprised more people don’t use the DPP. For $360, shipped and taxes.
Have you noticed that some of the el2s have vertical cutouts near the delta ring and some have an extra mlok slot? What’s the deal with that. Is that the newer one? If it is, I feel robbed.
@@85funnyguy the Extra MLOK seems to be the newer ones. I wanted the vertical cutouts too
Excellent I ordered one going on 2 week wait can't wait I ended up getting same one and a rugged 360for my mp5
No bro. You bought a rifle for the next revolution. Master it. Become one with it. You can become a saving angel during the apocalypse.
Love your setup man. I’m going for the same setup but with a sig 716 patrol gen1
I've got mined torqued to 55 in lb and it still flexes
Thanks for the info !
It’s crazy you say you wouldn’t dare use the mini for home protection.. it’s literally the same gun. You can slap the same optic and flashlight with same ammo.. what more do you need? You don’t need sub 1 MOA in your house. People would argue it is better for close quarters for the fact you can collapse the stock and still fire the weapon unlike an AR. Unless you’re a navy seal operating in fallijah those slight plus’s will not make a difference. To be frank the 556 in general is not a good round for fighting. They’re are decades of complaints. That is why all gi 556 is 77grain now.
Not to mention the trigger will beat any mil-spec trigger that ever existed. Right out the box compared to ARs in the price range accuracy is on par. I would also like to mention 4 MOA is the standard for the us Military. The 05 and up minis def shoot sub 3 and I’ve personally seen sub 2 even 1.5 at 100. For a AR to run sub 1 Moa your dropping at least 1500 bucks. Now at this point you might as well get a 700 and get a REAL bolt rifle that’ll do .5 MOA.
‘Well the mini doesn’t accept at mags’. The minis not a AR. It’s a mini. That being said why on earth would it accept AR mags. Now if they make a mini variant that accepts AR mags that’ll be awesome but the fact is the general population didn’t start getting ARs until the 2000s which at the point minus Been around for 25 years. The AR before then was too expensive and too finicky and the only one worth getting was way too expensive. So that being said why would mini convert to AR aftter all that time and before that the mini was the AR because people preferred it for reliablity. Direct gas is too dirty. Those tiny tube gum up so easily. Get a gas tube AR and run 1200 rounds thru it I guarantee you it’ll be gummed up to hell. Those minis are wide open it’s self cleaning you literally don’t have to clean it at all. The AR has gone thru 50 years of revisions to become what it is today. And I will argue the mini is indeed still better in A lot of ways.
@OEFveteran2010 You need the kit from Staccato
I thought the Zev oz9 was compatible with any gen 5 glock trigger. Is this correct or does it require then gen 3-4 Glock trigger?
@@federicoavalos8811 Gen 3 triggers, not Gen 5
@ does this apply even if it’s the oz9 v2? Sorry for the dumb question I was planning on building a Zev but I don’t know what Glock parts are compatible with Zev. I have a gen 5 Noveske slide and I was told it’s not compatible it needs to be a gen 3 slide.
Been trying to figure this out for a bit now but is it a sbr or does the stock flash hider make it a total of 16 inches?
@@vinnymencacci9807 flash hider is pinned and welded, so it’s a legal rifle
@ thank you!!!
The trigger is schmid
I have the P226 x5 legion and it’s had no issues.
Awesome vid. Fuck NTC 😂
Tried it once on G36C and i love it! If the scope is x4 instead of x3 and bigger lens on both optics would be nice but i love it so far
new IR coating was secretly dropped around this time and they werent going to say anything until people started complaining about 50 shades of fde from the same company lol
Hows the pws mk114 alpha doing? Have you had to use customer service for the pws?
I think the M4A1 block one and block II fsp as well as the M16 with a quad rail and a mk18 with a carry handle and the MK12 mod2 are all peak aesthetics. But GWOT over all is absolutely peak aesthetics.
The correct torque today (10/2024) on the handguard Screws is 45 inch pounds, as per Sig CS.
Did you leave the rubber block in, that supports the rear locking pin?
I think I might need a better barrel for mine. It’s a 16” ballistic advantage. I hear ppl say it works for them but for me the groups are random. With most grains even match. Not bad groups but there’s always 1.5 2” I know that’s not bad but when you spend 50 bucks a box it’s kinda frustrating. I’m not the best shooter but guns pretty stable when I zero. Idk.
SR-25 cut lower not dpms
The MR762 is a WILDLY overpriced platform... I wanna be super psyched about them... but it really doesn't seem to do anything to warrant the price. It doesn't even accept a lot of AR parts. If they made piston kits for .308 AR's i'd honestly build over buying an MR762. This sabre seems pretty cool for the money.
Phase 5 makes a charging handle for the sig 716i I’ve had mine on there for about 2 years…
Schmid tool makes trigger
Takedown pivot pin shim washers can take out any upper to lower slop which you can get from midwayusa and Brownells. I have some on one of my builds and I don't have any slop
The extension is in fact an A5 tube. PSA sells it as the "Sabre S5 buffer kit" and all the S5 buffers are A5 length. Edit: The Sabre trigger is the Schmid 2 stage trigger you see everywhere (including from PSA) with a Nickel Boron finish, but in this application it has a DLC finish. Personally I think the DLC finish feels better than the Nickel Boron examples I've handled.
So have you tried the metal 30 round Promag ?
