I don’t know if it has anything to do with the fuel cut but before the car stop and don’t want to fire up just crank the oil light pressure comes on and the car stop working. I was thinking that there is a kind of safety thing that the computer stop the fuel if doesn’t receive the signal from the oil pressure sensor.

      Thanks. The first thing to do would be to scan the car for faults. This will point you to the right direction.

    My car also takes 3-4 seconds to start, sometimes the second attempt on a cold engine. Warm engine starts in 1 second. I wonder, does the car have 1 or 2 crankshaft sensors ? I replaced the camshaftsensors and 1 crankshaftsensor, driverside. Replaced sparkplugs and coils but no improvement. Replaced the high pressure fuelpump, no improvement in starting. No error codes either, any thoughts?!

    • @ThatAfricanGuy
      @ThatAfricanGuy  3 года назад

      To be honest, I am not sure what it could be. With no codes, it is difficult to guess. The first thing I would blame would be the fuel pump starting to fail though but with no certitude. Do you hear it prime fuel when you open the driver's door or turn the ignition on when cold?
