    Correction: The part number for the Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve (IRMC Valve) is 037 906 283 C and not 03C 906 051 F which is the part number for the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP Sensor).

    I have a 2007 Audi A6 Quattro 3.2 Avant. The mechanic said I need an upper manifold because of one part that you can’t find to replace. It will randomly just lose power when driving. Sometimes it will recover a few seconds later and sometimes it will actually come to a full stop then when it stops the car will completely cut off. Sometimes it won’t crank when I first get in. He said it has to do with the air flow etc and because this piece is broken it gets confused. I thought it would be fuel injectors but I’m not the mechanic. How do I tell what the correct manifold is? As in where is the part number?

    i have been watching you for a while and ive learned alot from you. i have been able to work on my 2008 audi a6 3.2 thanks to your videos. but i have a question. ive been getting the fuel rail code P0087 and recently i changed my fuel filter and my low pressure fuel sensor. But i am trying to find my high pressure fuel sensor to replace. Do i have to remove this upper intake manifold to find that sensor?

    • @Kokouvia
      @Kokouvia  Год назад +1

      If the system can read the pressure at the rails, your pressure sensor at the rails must be fine. The manual says to check the fuel injectors for the P0087 code, but I suspect a failing high pressure fuel pump: ruclips.net/video/6i3buuHwgH4/видео.html

    Top Video, have you had any problems with the PCV Valve? And how do you check it? Thank you

    • @Kokouvia
      @Kokouvia  3 года назад

      I did not have any problem with the PCV valve but I recently replaced it as preventive maintenance. I think to check it, you have to remove it and look inside from the bottom port. There is a diaphragm inside that shouldn't be torn. A high oil consumption could also be a sign of a failed PCV valve.

      Now that I'm reading your question again, it seems that what I posted above is not what you need. I am not sure about the other ring you are referring to. There isn't one on the inside on top. Are you referring to the one at the bottom at the connection to the oil separator?

    • @KeepnITRealWithKat
      @KeepnITRealWithKat Год назад

      @@Kokouvia hmm.. I am not sure it might not have been on the inside. I’m just now reading my notes that I needed to find it because I’ve been working on it for weeks and have been doing many replacements so honestly I can’t remember. But I’m my notes it was a thin ring on the pc valve. My pc valve looks different from yours though just a little bit.

    thanks .What is reason to take out manifold

    • @Kokouvia
      @Kokouvia  2 года назад +1

      There are several reasons. The main reason is to check the lower intake manifolds. It also gives access to components like the PCV valve, the breather hose assembly, the fuel lines, the fuel rail, the oil filter housing, the thermostat, the high pressure fuel pump, hidden coolant pipes, the oil separator.

    Hey how you doing brother Where is code P0365 location for my 2006 Audi A6? It's 4 camshaft position sensor 2 on the driver and passenger side. It's saying Note that the “B” means that this sensor is located in the exhaust side of the cylinder head. Bank 1 means that the sensor is located in the engine bank with cylinder 1 so where's it at? I'm lost lol so is it located on my passenger side on the bottom ?

    • @Kokouvia
      @Kokouvia  2 года назад

      It's the top one on bank 2 or driver's side. I have shown it at 6 min 40 sec of this video: ruclips.net/video/2ngyg1aLoYY/видео.html
      Make sure it is well connected.

      The C7 A7 pulls, but you don't feel anything. It's dull. The old C6 is a better driver's car.

    • @Kokouvia
      @Kokouvia  Год назад

      I actually regret buying the A7. It looks great and is comfortable, but Audi has gone so low in terms of quality! And it's a much more complicated setup. Not DIY friendly at all. Made for shops with big and expensive tools. Yet the steering is dead, the suspension is too soft, the nose is heavier, the BOSE sound system is crap, the engine is crap, quattro is downgraded, the driver assistance features are annoying, the folding screen is annoying, many things are failing... It's a really crappy car!
