I have been a huge Buck Owens fan since I was a kid back in the '60s and he was in every jukebox, everywhere you went. I love the pure country song he created, the exceptional song-writing, the wonderful playing of Don Rich and Tom Brumley, and especially his outstanding harmonies with Don Rich. In addition I greatly miss Buck's soft drum beat which is snare dominant, versus the totally overblown and ridiculous heavy rock kick drum/loud bass combination of modern "country".
This has to be one of the best albums from Buck IMO. Superb songs are included. Tom Brumley on steel, Don on the Tele. You cannot beat this group, folks. Pure country
Bakersfield country.....the precursor to what would would be Outlaw Country.......just country music with soul that wasn't the manufactured Nashville sound of Chet Atkins.
"Hello Trouble" is a song written by Orville Couch and Eddie McDuff and was recorded by Couch in 1962. Couch's version made number 5 on the country charts that year, via Vee-Jay Records. Buck Owens and the Buckaroos also covered the song on the album Together Again, released in the summer of 1964. This version was later included on the soundtrack to Crazy Heart in 2009. LaWanda Lindsey covered the song in 1974 for Capitol Records. Her version charted at number 62. It was then recorded by American country music/country rock group The Desert Rose Band and released in July 1989 as the fourth and final single from the album, Running. The song reached #11 on both the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart and the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart. The Desert Rose Band version features Herb Pedersen on lead vocals.[1]
this song reminds me of my cousin cause she told me to stay out of trouble and I told her if trouble was good looking and willing I'd get right in her.
As close to Heaven as you can get. If this doesn't make you smile, nothing ever will!
Have to give you that
Bought this LP when it first come out. No body sings better than Buck he's as good as they are.

You mean your not going to go out and by Beyonce's new country album?..lol...🤠
Most underrated singer out there IMO
To be fair, he's very highly rated, but his music isn't played as often as it should be.

not to mention willie cantu an underrated drummer.
I believe it was buck-o playing lead along about then
That was Ralph Mooney on steel. Joe Kelly, in that era, I'm guessing it was probably Buck on lead guitar (like you said).

Someone I met years ago use to say hello trouble all the time.
Buck always makes me happy
Do it buck.
my theam song of my life
Bicentennial Trouble in Reno - Patricia Ann Anderson a "little bit of trouble".
I hope that they're still performing in heaven. One good reason to look forward to dying.
Amen
Brilliant.
Owens kicks Orville Couch's original recording to a new energy level, to good effect. Guitarist Don Rich is a big boost.
lovesong
This song should be in Fallout....🤠
Don Rich should be studied - one of the original tele monsters 😁
