I couldn't help but chuckle when you likened Minecraft to Lego that you don't have to pick up. I absolutely would have been into Minecraft had it come out like 25-30 years ago. My son is into it just because he has friends that are, but he hasn't played it himself. Maybe I'll finally get him a Switch for his birthday or something and let him experience it for himself. I really enjoyed the first video. Like you said, people are multifaceted, so it was nice to get a quick glimpse into some of the other things that you're into and have going on. Obviously seeing the pup was the best part of the video, but I also really enjoyed the segment about To The Moon. I remember you posting about it on Mastodon a while back, but getting a more thorough discussion about it was a pleasant surprise. I'm looking forward to future videos, and for what it's worth, I'd love to see a writing process video. I'm not a writer, but I love content that's a mix of tutorial and behind the scenes. You could even break it off into its own miniseries, depending on how deep you feel like going into it.
Minecraft is so fun! We're playing on Switch, so it has the Mario mash-up, which is cute. It's weirdly cozy, too-like playing on creator mode, you can just unwind and let your creativity go. Really appreciate your feedback on the writing series, I'll mull that over. This channel was started as book reviews, primarily fantasy, and I've noticed when I don't post adult fantasy content, I lose subs left and right. It's worth looking into having a separate channel for writing or possibly doing these personal journals, but we'll see!
Observations: - That big TV looks sweet! - What are those cords/wires under the TV? - What's that reflection I keep seeing on your glasses? - 100% empathize with parenting perspective. Kids are an inconvenient, but necessary sacrifice. Sounds selfish, but I'm looking forward to kiddo growing up and me getting back on track with the goals/ambitions I had prior. Nice vid SMG. Kids-SO inconvenient! Just kidding, I love mine. He’s really the absolute best. Never gives me the slightest inkling of trouble. 🤞🏼 All those things you observed are permanent objects of the periphery, unfortunately-box light, window with sunlight bleed… Eyesores that due to my lack of space, privacy, and dire need for spectacles, I can do little about. Some, but not much. I think my background has been different every time I’ve recorded in my attempt to get a different backdrop and I’m sure it’ll be about the same 10x over! 😂 I talk very slow and also can’t stand hearing myself speak. When I do try talking faster. My speech gets jumbled. It’s awful! I listen to all YT videos and podcasts at double speed, triple if I have the option! But nah, I’m aware and trying to work on that 😅 hope kiddo is growing fast!!
@@SandrasLibrary Wasn't personal about the kid comment. But as you know, whatever you had going on in life hit a brick wall when the kid came. Just looking forward to resuming some of my life back in the near future. Kiddo is growing super fast. Excited about new types of interactions with D in the next year. Nah, your voice sounds just fine. It must be a common thing, cuz I think my voice sounds weird/odd in a video too. I'll try some of dem movies/series you mentioned. About done with the current ones.

I used to say it gets easier but it’s definitely gotten harder in more ways. I’m coming to realize why people say have a second child. Because then they can play together instead of being totally reliant on a parent for every single thing, all the time. 😩 But I’m done with all that! You got this, G!
@@SandrasLibrary I don't mind sharing at all. Just ask! (I need a AMA..haha) I just don't broadcast random data about myself in general public forums 😆 We're way past the survival mode phase. In retrospect, we def have hard moments, but things have been thriving in general for a while. D's almost done with teething and potty training will commence soon. I'm just looking forward for the schooling coming up real soon. Wife's gonna have most of the day open again. She can get some of her life back too. I dunno about the 2nd kid thing. They may play nice, but they may fight all the time too. We have a playdate and she's a SAHM and tending to 2 LOs 24/7 just drives her friggin' mad. I don't know how she does it. She's super mom or something, but I overhear some of the things she says to her kids when they drive her up the wall. I've heard many moms say similar things in years past. Shocking (gasp!), but as a parent I empathize 100% hahaha
