An excellent review and explanation of features. I have the Xiaomi 14 and have issues with red being over saturated. I've given feedback and hopefully they will address the issue in an update soon.
Great comparison as always, too bad you also didn't get Xiaomi 15 to compare to Xiaomi 14. To be honest I like more 14 pro photo processing, let's hope they'll fix it with further updates. I own Xiaomi 14 and I like it, I think upgrading to Xiaomi 15 is not needed, let's hope 16 will bring more improvements.

Hi, sorry for writing too many comments recently but do you know if Xiaomi 15 pro still have the soft focus portrait mode that the previous 13/14 pros had? Also, does Vivo have a portrait mode that is similar to that of Xiaomi's 90mm soft focus?
@@big_smoke7t There is a soft focus mode but the old 90mm soft one dreamy like effect is gone. As for Vivo I think it should be available on the X200 Pro. I do not see it on the Vivo X100 Ultra even after the OriginOS 5 upgrade

Anyways i think 15 pro needs a little bit more software updates to be fully polished, especially the HDR and the contrast of long range zoom photos. Hopefully Xiaomi don't forget to optimize those.

can we not just bake windows 11 in theses phones and run using a monitor. Like current mobile chips are giving performace similar to what we get on laptops
@Talangenz SOT is something I don't really test scientifically. No way to keep that counting normally. But you can see the estimate of battery life in my video. This is pretty accurate on Xiaomi even if its just an estimate
I've noticed that phones like Pura 70 ultra and by looks of it Also that Xiaomi, they with reflective finish around camera lenses it causes more lens flare
@@LightSaber12345Average use time on phones i around 5h but there are many people who use their phones 10h per day or maybe even more. Xiaomi 14 pro is not capable of 10h screen on time so they had to make bigger battery while charging is still pretty fast
Interesting 👍🏿 Comparison to Iphone 15/16 would be nice, looks Video HDR is still lacking on Xiaomi 15 compared to Iphone. Also Battery runtime comparison would be nice. Now the Batteries are big and heavy but i think SD8E eats it all up. Sure its faster but inthink SD gen1 was fast enough. I would love only to use the efficiency aspect of SD8e and not the Speed for 4 Days Battery.

Turning on Ultimate Performance mode in settings > battery should give you much higher scores. Mi 14 is capable of 1.8-2 million in Antutu.

Band 20 should be supported. I got an OTA today after I returned back to Germany and it updated just fine.
15 pro has better colors but the detail in the foorage is the same.
Does it have 4k video recording in cinematic/ movie mode ??
