I’ve been using pvc pipe that I found, a drill, and nails to make joints. Not perfect but it’s worked out so far! Now I just need to buy a bunch of red feathers…
@@embethzoozoo5976 PVC has been working, and I found a hawks cosplay at a recent comicon that used strings to pull up the wings. I did some research and the mechanical piece that he uses in this video to move the wings is called a linear actuator. You have to do some research but it doesn’t require much knowledge of machines. Love it, could i suggest part of my wings primary design was to have two separate functioning wings. Here use two motors one on each and you can then articulate the backbone too. Also mine are upside down of this with larger primary structure and even larger tips.

I believe it is a roller on a stand. It is used with a table saw for long boards. He's just using it here as an easel/stand to support the wings.
