Most of them either sold their pimped ride or threw it away,so a where are they now isn’t really an easy thing to do as many of them might’ve already rusted through,and one of them,iirc a RAV4,caught fire

They never did、the cars would look cool but still be unusable
There was one episode where they put a new engine and transmission in and one episode where they bought the dude a new car and did nothing to his banger. I think guy wanted to restore the car at his own pace.
But otherwise - no. They'd stick tons of useless garbage in the cars, as a way to advertise stuff and not fix the engine.

WCC did nothing but GAS did swap engines. Most of those speaking out came from Wcc
My wife got a 200hp turboed engine in place of her old 50hp stocker. But the tuning was really hard to get good. We still have her car. 1973 VW Thing. I'm working on a where are they now follow up series on the cars of Pimp my Ride now.

Best part of this show is that they don't actually repair the vehicles, just polish a turd n call it fixed with a set of wheels paint n stereo. 98% of there vehicles break down less than a week after getting ruined by them.
