What they do is buy properties and hold them for a few years or months depending on the market and they sell them for a profit, they are actually investments and not homes . Billionaires do this on a grand scale and are basically nomads who dont really have a home in the traditional sense , but rather a multitude of investment properties many of which they have never slept in or in some cases even seen more than once.
