I once got to be with him in a museum. I had no idea it was him. He had his hoodie on. But we went from gallery to gallery until i said in the Rauschenberg room how cool it was. He said “yeah... is good” I look at him and it was then I realized. “Good night” he said as he nodded his head at me. I said “......bye... sigh” he was like a unicorn. Mythical and kind. I had tickets to see him the next day. It was amazing.
This is just amazing. I have a busy job but a I heard a Sigur Ros track playing on a colleague's iPhone and I just had to stop work and listen. When I got home, I spent hours listening to everything I could find. Absolutely mind blowing. Whatever it takes I have to see these guys live.
I was driving in my car fighting with the voice search, just trying to cancel it and play my own regular music. Then it brought me to a radio station that played this and Wow, let me just say, this is by far one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Love from New York City.
This song only makes me imagine the day when all humanity can live in a real harmony between us, nature, the universe and the highest being. The beginning and the end.

NEVER have I had such an experience listening to music, whether live or recorded. (and I’ve listened to 1000s and 1000s of hours of music. It’s my Life. I work in the music industry and I’m a lifelong musician besides. Here’s what happened. I’m floating along, ebbing and flowing with the beautiful tapestry of Jonsi’s subtle, epic, moving piece and BAM with No Crescendo to it, no build up whatsoever in comes that SMASHING BASS DRUM ATTACK and the piece is Done. I WAS SHAKEN TO MY CORE, TINGLING FROM THE TIP OF MY HEAD TO THE SOLES OF MY FEET. I WAS ALL PINS AND NEEDLES. NOWHERE IN MY BODY WASNT TINGLING. It was the most perfectly effective use of Surprise in a piece of music I’ve Ever Heard. UNPRECEDENTED It’s SO GREAT to see Jonsi starting to mature into a true World Class Composer. Reminded me a little of Arvo Pärt.
This song makes me think of the three musical eras of music. At the beginning we have instruments made of stone and wood, accompanied later by singing. Where instrument crafting was natural and mathematical knowledge was minimal. This is the first era of music. In the middle we see traditional instruments from western civilization. Instruments much more processed and adhering to much stricter parameters than their earlier counterparts. The second era of music. And in the end we see the modern music era, using technological advances to assist in music production while also selecting elements from the previous ages. The third era of music.
So happy this saw the light of day finally. Can retire the bad quality mp3s now. Roll on December 4th looking forward to the vinyl release. Beautiful stuff.
Pure magie. Depuis le temps que nous n'attendions de voir ce projet mis en lumière officiellement😊😊. La musique de Sigur Rós et leurs différents projets nous transporte tellement. Takk Fyrir🇮🇸r

An awesome and very apt description.

People from all over the world praising this unorthodox type of music. Love it. Well done Sigur Ros. Love from Holland.
Agree, and hello and love from Texas, USA
The contrast between Jonsi and Steindor's voices is so perfect! This is up there with the best Sigur Ros tracks, and no one sets the bar higher!

This makes 2020 a little bit more bearable.
The most moving piece of music I have ever heard in my 50+ years. RUclips interrupted it THREE times.
Started crying after jonsi started singing......and I'm dead inside
Their music moves me like no other. I don't understand a single word yet I feel it in my soul. So thankful to be able to experience their music.
I feel the same, a connection
If I'm not mistaken it's a made up language
It is for the most part but it doesn't make it any less emotional.
@@Nitrucha Hopelandic in some songs. Icelandic in the others.
I'd guess Andersen is singing in Icelandic and Jonsi in Hopelandic.
The contrast of the baritone’s voice with Jónsi’s falsetto is sublime.
I was watching news then this came on and cleaned my mind and put my breathing back to normal.
this is like news to the hearth.
This is an ethereal song, even for Sigur Ros.
