Lovely video, thank you. We were there with our grandchildren on Sunday. Not many people on the beach so fine for social distancing. We had a lovely afternoon. Very impressed with the new look.
Went for a walk along here last weekend. Great for walking and cycling. Easy to social distance. The sloping side may be a problem but otherwise a job well done.
Oh yes there is Free parking, BUT it shouldn't be , we should charge all visitors parking on OUR SEA FRONT, we pay the rates for it and Can't get onto the prom. Fairhaven has never been in Lytham or St Anne's , its in the Middle, at Ansdell. The photo you showed at 12.13 was were we grew up, including my ancestors who helped build this town.There was nothing wrong with Granny's Bay as it was, it had been there for 100s of years, yes the old sea defenses were crumbling and needed re doing at part 12.40. Why do you think it was called Stanner bank? because it was on bank of the Estuary. Plus a Correction for you is Lytham St Anne's should be written as Lytham-St-Anne's.
@@visitfyldecoast I am Awfully sorry, i wasn't trying to be impertinent, it was a good Video of the front, but some of us that have had ancestors, that had ancestors, lived and brought up in Lytham ,find it hard to see the changes i suppose.

Quite a change from the previous sea wall. Will look better when it gets weathered. The prom surface is excellent. Are cycles allowed on the prom?
Hi Andy, yes they are. To be honest, the Cleveleys seafront doesn't look a whole lot different, 10+ years on. It stays remarkably clean.

Never been to this part it nice quite been by st anns pier and beach there but not this far down
