      There you go. From the numbers, it looks like PTP was also a top tier performer, theoretically better than Fire and Drive.
      * mph/rpm/inches *
      pro: 66,7/2145/25,4
      rev: 66,8/2231/23,3 (1st place)

    After playing for over 5 years with Ezone DR98/Alu Power, I switched to VcorePro 97D/Poly TourRev.
    I have lost a little in brute force and some serve speed, but gained a HUGE amount of control and feed back.
    Also, amazing how the 97D is almost a perfect match in balance/weight/SW to my "self tuned" Ezone...now if only Yonex would shave a little head weight from the D and make those head frames a little thinner🤓

    I have a Yonex Percept 97 and I have question about Polytour Drive and Polytour Rev. Which string is more elastic? which has more power? Is it advisable to put the same tension on these two strings? I appreciate your answers...

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Месяц назад +1

      The strings are pretty close in terms of stiffness and energy return with the slight edge going to Rev in being softest with a tad more energy return. I would string them both at the same tension. Cheers, Chris, TW

    I Have a Vcore 98 new model and i use the PolyTour Strike I am amateur(all court player), so I am not an expert, but i don't feel connected with the string, what is the most userfriendly string that i can use that could make my game more simple and easy ? Your input is very helpful....

      Poly Tour Pro is nice option from Yonex, better feel and ball pocketing for a poly string. We also like Solinco Hyper-G or Hyper-G Soft. That said if you want more feel and comfort, and don't break strings often, then a hybrid could be a good choice or even a full bed of multifilament for a ton of comfort and feel. If you want some recommendations for hybrid or multifilament, let us know...Troy, TW

    @tenniswarehouse can anybody recommend a not muted string for my ezone 98 2022. I miss a little bit of feedback. I've used poly tour rev and it was niceish but very low feedback and strings moved like crazy thanks

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  2 месяца назад

      If you want something nice and crisp, we like Solinco Tour Bite and Confidential, Tourna Big Hitter Silver 7 Tour, and Head Lynx Tour (we prefer the Champagne color). Not sure if you have experimented with hybrids, but that could be worth considering as well. Troy, TW

    For a flat hitter with the Ezone 98, what string would you recommend?
    Maybe a hybrid PT pro and strike or something else ?
    Thanks in advance

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  9 месяцев назад

      I really like the crisp and direct response of POLYTOUR Strike so would go with that in the mains and put the POLYTOUR Pro in the crosses in that hybrid. A full bed of Strike would also work well. Another Yonex one to consider would be POLYTOUR Fire. It also offer tons on control. Cheers, Chris, TW

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  9 месяцев назад

      Yeah I think a nice round shaped poly will be a nice choice for a flatter hitter. Poly Tour Pro plays with a bit more power and Poly Tour Strike plays nice and controlled, so yeah a hybrid could be nice. Poly Tour Fire offers good control as well; we also like Luxilon ALU Power, Signum Pro Poly Plasma, and Tecnifibre Razor Soft. Troy, TW

      Just in that hybrid would it be best to have both as 1.30s ?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  9 месяцев назад

      Yeah I would say 1.30 for more control, or maybe down to 1.25 for a little more feel, but either of those should work good for a flatter ball striker. Troy, TW

  • @alejandrogandolfid
    @alejandrogandolfid 4 месяца назад

    And what do you recommend for Yonex Percept 97?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  4 месяца назад +1

      Most of the Yonex Polys will work well. We enjoyed Yonex Poly Tour Pro for a pretty good feel and pocketing. If you want more control the Poly Tour Strike is very consistent, and Poly Tour Spin is also very controlled and a lot of bite on the ball. We are also seeing some of the Yonex pro players doing a mix of Yonex Polys, for example Casper Ruud goes with Poly Tour Spin mains and Poly Tour Pro crosses, Ben Shelton goes Poly Tour Strike mains and Poly Tour Pro crosses, and Marcos Giron goes Poly Tour Rev mains and Poly Tour Pro crosses. So it seems like the Poly Tour Pro is a good cross string to sort of soften things up and add some feel, with a more control or spin type of poly in the mains. Troy, TW
