The old Yonex Poly Tour Drive was a quite firm and durable cheap polyester string. Do I undersand right that the moved it to the segment of the livelier, softer and not so durable strings?
Recently I made a switch to Tourna Big Hitter Silver. It’s an inexpensive round grey/silver string too. A really nice string. Good tension maintenance. Good control and some decent power. A real bargain a $7 a set.
Im playing BHS too, lovely string. Im calling it cheaper softer alu power :D 60 euro per reel awesome. Before BHS i played poly tour pro. I think tourna is little bit better string with lower durability but good choice :)
I'm curious to see how big hitter silver might compare to the Yonex drive. I too switched from solinco confidential to big hitter silver about 9 months ago.
He actually points it out on the label : it goes from firmest to softest, and the box that is marked is where it says 'AVERAGE'. That is: average firmness, duhh! Still he doesn't get it and keeps making jokes about the string being advertised as 'average' (in quality). That's just sad, bro. Makes your review below average.
nice! What it would make the review completely awsome if you made a review again after 10 hours hitting with that string. maybe after 20 hours again. (Most player's strings dont break and hardly they cut the strings out of the racket after 2 months;)
Love the channel since 2020! Finally started my own to share my tennis life

Do you know this situation when the person telling a joke finds it funnier than everybody else and repeats it again and again....🙁
I really like this channel but my god I was rolling my eyes lol

Should an average player like Harry even be using a poly string?
